Ordered Nexelon wire shelves and posts. The shelv...

Ordered Nexelon wire shelves and posts. The shelves were delivered and not the posts. Tracking the posts, I found that UPS reported that the box containing the posts was severly damaged and empty. Global did not respond to UPS's message to them and I had to call them. They sent a replacement box of posts and this box was also severely damaged with posts sticking out the ends of the box. One post was scraped and missing its end cap. Now I will have to wait once again for a new post.

Global Industrial has one of the worse customer services. An order I placed with them had 2 items, one of the items was for 2 cases, the other one was 3 cases, but they mistakenly shipped me only 2 cases of each, short 1 case. I called them several times but the idiots who answered the phone repeatedly said it showed in their system that the boxes were delivered and left on my front porch by UPS. True, they were delivered indeed, I never disputed the fact that they were delivered, I just said the content inside the big cardboard boxes was 1 case short. The low IQ persons who answered my phone claimed: "there is nothing I can do about it"

Is Zero stars possible?? Don't waste your money. I bought a floor scrubber, thing stopped working in under 30 days. I have called and emailed the warranty department and gotten zero response. I operate a wedding venue and clean floors are hugely important to my reputation. I now have to dispute the charge with my credit card company and buy another floor scrubber from another company. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE>>>>>DONT BUY FROM THEM

Very disapointed that a normal UPS Ground next day delivery, will take almost a week. It should have been shipped same day! A day and a half to print a label? whats that. Amazon would have had it here today and for 15 bucks less! I wanted to go with the specialty vendor for my respirator, so I paid more, now I wont have it for the job I need it for. I may just order another mask from Amazon tonight so I can have it tomorrow, and when the Pony Express arrives I'll give it to one of my employees.

First time buyer. I searched via Google for tire chains for 23x10.5x12 tires. Global Industrial had a good price. I ordered a set. They arrived on 2/13 and they are for 18x6.5x8. I need these chains to deal with a large amount of snow. This is not acceptable quality standards.

After I made one purchase, way too many Global Industrial ads started showing up on websites I visited. I think moderation must be the guide here. Some of this is OK, but what has happened to me is too much. The net result is sure to be irritated customers who will avoid Global Industrial if they can.

It did not go well. I tried twice to use my Paypal account and both times it failed. Called customer service and tried chat, but both of these took much too long for responses. Finally got the order placed with a credit card. The process was too difficult.

I was looking at dust masks. I was about to buy the ones I wanted and it popped up that there was a similar one. The price was a dollar less so I bought 40 boxes BUT it was not a similar item, it was per each and not per box like what I wanted. I was charged for one what I could buy a whole box of 20 for. I tried to return it and they stamped non-returnable on the item. So not only did they confuse me into buying a different product, they wouldn't take it back. I have now spent over $400 on some non returnable dust masks that are nowhere near what i wanted. I also notice a shipping tag under the shipping label to us, Global bought these masks years ago and they were stuck with them so they over charged me and stuck me with them.
Double check all dealings with them, they are sleazy.

Good: Product arrived extremely quickly, and appears as advertised.

Bad: Product arrived damaged (attached photos show steep dents in the top), and seller offered a discount that would not apply to the order. I emailed the seller several days ago (immediately after placing the order) to ask about this mysterious, apparently fake discount offer; several business days later, seller has not responded. One of the drawers is very loud to open and close, suggesting broken ball bearings inside.

I'm truly disappointed.

SORRY. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE THUS FAR. I ordered 3 clothes racks which I need for my business. They were paid for and the money has come out of my credit card. However I have not received the order. There is a tracking number but it doesn't give me any information. The order was supposedly shipped on May 14 by UPS. Global is supposedly checking for me at this time, but I'm still waiting for information and am highly disappointed.

Hands down, THE WORST company I have ever had to deal with. Ordering process is a nightmare - I called to ensure my items was in stock and they couldn't answer this simple question without getting my shipping address, billing address and all my other info! Then they guaranteed the item was in stock, I paid for it and also paid extra for expedited shipping - it now has been weeks and the item hasn't even shipped. I have emailed Customer Service numerous times - they do not respond, at all!!! It is despicable. Stay away!

You had a 3+1/2 gallon garbage pail in white metal. No one else does. Also it was delivered overnight! It was expected in 3-4 days. Great service. I live in NYC and could not find this size garbage pail anyplace: Not at Home Depot, Lowes, Container Store, Bed, Bath and Beyond, or any other basic hardware store, or big department store. Thanks again Global Industrial I really appreciate it. I did not need a little tiny or a giant garbage pail for my small Manhattan kitchen. You made my day!!!!

I ordered a floor scrubbing machine for a warehouse. It was supposed to arrive a week ago. Not only did it not arrive, but there's no way to track it and nobody at the company who can actually answer any questions. I had one brief interaction with a live chat rep who told me that he'd look into it and get back to me within 48 hours. Nope. No response at all.

Finally, I contacted AMEX and refuted the charge. I still don't know if Global Industrial is planning to ship this thing, but if a delivery shows up, I'm sending it back. I don't trust a company who takes your money, then goes radio silent. VERY shady.

Outstanding Product and Customer Service
The first single LPG propane heater head arrived with a defective safety switch. Upon Global Industrial's reading of my unfavorable review, their customer service immediately responded. I was offered a full refund or a replacement. Since I love the hook up to the propane Tank (especially not having a use a rubber lpg gas line,) I elected the replacement. It arrived in 3 days via UPS, with no cost to me at all. I'm very impressed.

Decent product, but one of the portable tables that we have been shipped has a faulty electrical power strip. We called customer service to have a second sent to our office. Maybe 3 weeks later it was finally sent. The second one does not work either. I contacted support and have yet to hear back from customer support.

If you're willing to wait months to get a working product, this may be for you.

Had to give one star since zero wasn't an option.
Placed an order and because they didn't pay their supplier my order has been delayed for over two weeks and still have not received the items. On 6/29/20 I was told they payed the bill and I would receive a shipping confirmation within 24 hours and still waiting on a confirmation. Just tried getting answers again this morning and they hung up on me after placing me on hold for 15 minutes.
I would highly recommend finding another supplier for your needs!!!!

I hate to say never, but unless or until major changes are made, this company will not receive any of my business. Their customer service department should read "Customer SELF Service", because for the most part - unless I specifically asked them to make a call, look up a price or heaven forbid - actually follow up....it just is not happening. It is a shame that companies have grown so focused on the bottom line that the customers are now paying for it...out of their pocket as well as with the lack of customer service.

I bought toilet paper from this company for my small office a few weeks ago and get CONSTANT e-mails and phone calls from this company now asking me about my purchase and trying to upsell more items. I'm thrilled with my toilet paper, it's truly great. But I'm not going to order again from this company because the near-daily phone calls and e-mails borderlines on harassment over a mundane order for toilet paper. I've asked to remove me from their list, but it does not work.

Just ordered from this company for the 1st AND LAS...

Just ordered from this company for the 1st AND LAST time. Ordered online after calling customer service. Was told my shipment, which was one bundle of corrugated bin boxes, would ship from closest location. Here is what has gone wrong so far, and I do not even have the shipment yet.
(1) Was told my order would ship from nearest location. From their Atlanta area location to me in the DFW area, UPS ground is 3 days. They shipped my order out of their Las Vegas area location, which is 4 days to me.
(2) They sent me an email with a UPS tracking number saying my order had shipped, which most reasonable people would take to mean it is in the hands of UPS. It was close to 24 hours after that before the UPS tracking system indicated the order had even been picked up.
(3) They appear to be padding the freight charges. I took weight and zip codes of origin and destination, and even as a small individual shipper, the rate was sognificantly lower than what they are charging., and its not like a bundle of boxes that are flat are going to get any outer packaging other than stretch wrap and labeling.

My only advice to anyone considering purchasing from Global Industrial is RUN !!! Run like the wind !!! You will know the next time I order from them because the weather person on your local news will be saying "and in other weather news, today hell did finally freeze over...".

Dealing with this company has been an absolute nig...

Dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare! I ordered a walker/wheelchair type of product to replace my old one, with the understanding that I could return it if it didn't work for me (based on what turned out to be a misleading return policy, which I did read ahead of time). I received my order quickly and immediately opened it and tried it out, thinking I had 30 days to decide whether to keep or return it. Within a week I realized it did not work for me - whenever we hit a bump, I was nearly dumped out of the wheelchair. I am 81 years old! Not good to fall out on the sidewalk!
I sent an email to Global requesting return information. Their only response was "Is the item used? And is it in the original packaging?" I responded that I had tried it out and detailed the problem I had with it. But I was told that it was not returnable because I had used it. HOW WAS I TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT WORKED OR NOT IF I DIDN'T USE IT?
After numerous attempts to speak with the contact person I had been assigned at Global, and having been told several times by customer service personnel that my rep was trying to get the manufacturer to accept the return, I decided to call the manufacturer. Imagine my surprise when the manufacturer readily agreed to take the item back! Their rep even got the Global rep on the phone and mediated a return at my expense. The item had cost me $169, including tax. It cost me $64 to return it!
It has now been six weeks since the item was received by the manufacturer and I am still waiting for my refund. Spoke to Global today and their "working on it".
In my 81 years, I have never experienced worse customer service! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I would tell you to FIND ANOTHER COMPANY to deal with. We placed an order in August with the item supposedly in stock and then received two "ship date" updates in early September with the last one showing that shipping would not occur (maybe with fingers crossed) until October 30. Seeings how we would be heading out on a road trip on the first of October, this obviously would not work as we would be gone.

I called THREE TIMES to get the order cancelled. First person told me that the warehouse in California had to cancel the order - what? and that she would call me back to confirm the next day. Never happened. Called again this past Monday and spent over an hour on the phone with their "customer service" who, at my request, escalated it (supposedly). Now, four days later - still nothing. Called again and basically told them that it gets cancelled or I file a complaint with the Attorney General in New York (Brooklyn regional office) AND the AG for the state of Washington. I was then assured that it would be cancelled within the hour. At just shy of an hour - nothing yet. Will take another call and I have filed a complaint with the AG for NY and will be filing a complaint with the AG of Washington state next.

FIND ANOTHER VENDOR TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

Global claimed th carrier lost it and won't return my money claiming the carrier has to return the money to me since they lost it. I did not buy it from the carrier I bought it from global. It's been a month and I'm still out 3000 due to their mistakes.

RIP OFF!! Lies, short shipment, wrong product shipped, denial, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
I purchased $5,115.00 in racking 3 weeks ago. I was told it was all in stock and in the pictures you will see the sent me a shipping document indicating that all the product shipped complete. It did not, almost half the product is missing and as you see in the pictures they shipped a mixture of sizes. My warehouse receiving manger called them the same day to report the issues. The man at Global knew the order was shipped short, but he did not note it on any of the paperwork I received. Plus as you see in the pictures it is a huge mess because the racks cannot be assembled because the sizes are mis matched. The customer service person now wants pictures of the shortage, how do I picture a shortage. Their shipping person knows about the shortage. Terrible company to buy from and they have no idea how to get it right STAY AWAY!! I ordered for convenience they have turned this into a nightmare.

Wow! Than you so much!! We received the motor we needed yesterday after hearing it might not be available until October. Disappointed, we felt we had no choice after trying to find it elsewhere. To our surprise, Global took action to see that we received the motor within days of the order. We will definitely use Global industries again - grea customer service.

I wish there was a ZERO star!
I ordered some items on APRIL and I haven't received anything. Instead, they sent me the wrong size item. I tried to contact the company countless times and every time they had a different excuse. After all, I was told that the shipping company delivered my items and I signed for it, which isn't true! I sent emails with the papers I have from the shipping company to prove that it was actually the wrong shipment, but they never responded to any of my emails. I haven't gotten my items or a refund. What a shame! The WORST company ever!

BEWARE, if you buy the item and its wrong because they have an incompetent description on a item, and have to return the item because its their fault, don't expect a refund for months or if ever. They still owe me $1700, and they keep telling me if I get a credit memo then I can see a refund in 3 to 5 business days. Its been a month and no hope. Please don't buy from this company!

Horrible and Terrible company to work with!
Did not deliver the items on time, nearly waited 2 additional months to receive full orders. Paid $4556 for assembly and yet they sent one person to do the job. Even the assembler damaged the main conference table and half of our furniture are not assembled. Asked to send someone to finish the work and representative said "I am sorry Global does not have assembly guys".
Even one star is not worth for this company.

We did not receive the item ordered and the tracking number they provided was invalid. After waiting two weeks we have been unable to find out from the shipping department what the problem is. The chat agents would answer and when they found out we were trying to track an order, one agent disconnected and the second said she could not help us. We were told to call or email customer service. Contacting customer service was not easy either. Several times I called and after the answering service picked up I selected the option for inquiring on an existing order. After that it was dead air space. Customer service just says they will send an email inquiry and will let us know when they get a reply. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company.

this is certainly the worst company where I have ever purchased.

I have had problems with all of the customer representatives. they just take you as a game and make you bounce from department to department. nobody wants to work there!

I am trying to get a QUOTE just a QUOTE for a return and their return policy says I am able to get that and the reps over the phone just, laugh at me, denied it and pass from thru different departments.
Or, the other great solution for customers is that they just hung up.
this is the less serious company I have ever contacted. one step away from being a fraud.

Global refuses to send me a damage claim number so I have no idea if one was even submitted to UPS. Meanwhile, I can not accept a replacement as no where to put it and damaged item is blocking my door.

I have purchased many times from Global Industrial and have not had a bad experience yet! I'm a Purchasing Agent for a large Commercial Printer in New England and I have to compare pricing and availability from several sources. Global almost every time is who I select. I have purchase a wide variety of "Industrial Shop Necessities" i.e. safety floor mats, containers, cabinets, tools, chairs, ect. Global's web site is the best that I have used! The many photos and plenty of very clear product information is a great help in determining the correct item and comparing to another site. Global has become my "Go To Site" for all types of items we need around our 280,000 sq. plant. Our acct. Rep. Patrick has been very helpful when I couldn't find or determine a particular need. Patrick also sends emails of "Special Sales" which are helpful to trigger other facility needs.
I have read some other negative reviews and know with enough sale not every experience is going to be great but, for all my experiences with Global in the past 8 years and close to 100 purchases, every time has been a success and I will continue to seek out the help of Global Industrial in fulfilling the needs of our facility!
