About Glitnir ticketing
Glitnir Ticketing was founded in late 2003 when the founders discovered a serious need for ticketing systems at the minor league baseball level. The company sold their first ticket on March 10, 2004 and since then has become a vendor for many baseball teams throughout the country - AAA, AA, A, Rookie, Independent, Collegiate Leagues. The company has also expanded beyond baseball and provides ticketing software & service for soccer, hockey, softball, racetracks, basketball, football, college athletics, theaters and multi-purpose venues throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Glitnir has also served as the primary ticket provider for many concerts, boxing matches, wrestling matches, rodeo, MMA fights, and other stand-alone events. In time, the value of the Glitnir System was recognized by MLBAM and was approved as an authorized ticketing vendor for its minor league baseball system. The Long Island Ducks, located in Glitnir’s backyard, processed more than 600,000 tickets in 2015.
