Glendale Bagels Review

Best Bagels in town! Buy the dozen special and get the three free, best deal around. Only issue that I have is that they don't take cards. Cash only. But all of their food is amazing. I go as often as I can. Just make sure you bring cash.

Very rude, made me wait when no one was in the store and then dealt with me as though I was bothering them. I was ordering bagels, cream cheese and cold cuts. When I got to the cold cut portion of the order I was told I would have to wait 10 minutes. The response was just more rude and I walked out.

Great service and been eating there great food for years .. :)

Great bagels but sometimes they give us the wrong ones

Such a cool place to grab a really tasty bagel served with truly whatever you just wish for.

Unfortunately this place has great food, however you almost never get to experience it. If you go there to order, you might actually get your correct order, but you will wait an obnoxiously long time while you see the extremely young and unprofessional staff just standing around.. If you order for pick up or delivery, they will mess up your order most of the time, give you cold chicken or steak, its just disgusting. Most of the time they decide to turn off their grill by 2pm when they close at 5. I don't get it. I really wish they would have better management. Its not normal.

I love this coffee shop. This is a little hidden gem. I was so happy i stumbled upon it when I first moved to clinton hill. Good pastries, good coffee and THE BEST ALMOND CROISSants EVER!!

Great bagel spot with a TON of options. You can't go wrong. Yeah, it's the water, blah, blah, blah. Well, whatever it is, this place lives up to the reputation.

Great bagels and food from the grill. Cash only but does have an ATM on location. Can be busy because they have great food. Some tables if you want to stay.

Hands down the best bagels! Love their coffee too. The service is always great no matter how busy they get. Highly recommend!

Good neigborhood bagel shop, breakfast, lunch done well

Brought two dozen assorted regular sized bagels and spreads to my daughters college in Massachusetts. Needless to say, there was NOTHING left when the parents were done. We had a group of parents from ALL over the globe--California, Missouri, Oregon, Washington state, Kenya, Nigeria etc. Every single one of them were totally jealous that I get to have these rounds of gold whenever I want. I have a feeling a few will be calling to have some priority shipped to where they live. Thanks Richie and the crew!

Best place to go for fresh everything. They are quick and the service is great. One down fall is that you pay with cash but that doesn't stop me from going. My kids love so much they now go on their own. Love the fresh bagels...and my favorite are the flat bagels. Those don't last long. So take a ride out there and get you're self a delicious breakfast. One more thing I'm picky with my coffee but they always seem to make it just right. Parking can sometimes be a bit hard but it's worth it in my book.

The absolute best bagels with all the toppings you can think of. Great attention to detail when you order from an enormous menu of sandwiches which tribute NYPD, FDNY and all of the depts that serve all of us.

It's harder and harder to find a place with delicious bagels so Glendale Bagels is where I go. It's worth the trek to munch on a proper bagel. The recent renovation looks great!

I go to Glendale Bagels about once a week now at least for both coffee and breakfast. During the week these guys aren't as busy as the weekends so if its your first time, I'd recommend going then as to not be overwhelmed lol because it can get quite busy. The chef, Rich, can cook like nobody's business. Some staff are more attentive than others but overall a good group. These guys have me coming back all the time!

Absolutely the best bagel shop in Glendale hands down. I recommend the French toast bagel my favorite.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BAGELS buttttt they are completely incapable of taking an order over the phone. I call give them my order they tell me it'll be there in 30 min and am hour latter I call back and no one has heard about my order. Your best bet is to go in person and get the bagels, believe me it's worth it.

Be careful... this place plays favorites with its regular customers. Waited for over 25min for 2 BLTS while other regulars customers who came in way after me left way before me who ordered Bacon egg and cheese bagels. Bad experience. Never going back

Simply the best bagels!! And if that wasn't enough, they are huge!! You need to visit Glendale Bagels.

Not at all what they used to be and they don't turn people away for not wearing masks. Tall girl who runs the counter is incredibly rude. At least 4 people in there today with no masks on despite the sign on the front door reading "no mask no service".

For a few reasons 2 stars is the highest I would go. Letting customers in who don't have masks on, including the homeless. Cook not wearing a mask. 2 omelettes were allegedly only going to take 10-15, which really meant 25 minutes. Paid for cheese on an omelette, but that's not anywhere in sight. Disappointed with the place overall, so probably the last time I'd go there for food.

I definitely enjoyed the food from here we got a bagel and home fries with coffee. The food was very good coffee was good too. It does get crowded in here but the wait wasn't too long and it was worth the wait. Very clean inside. The cleanliness and food quality is very good and I would recommend this place to others

Bagels not so good like it used to be and on top of that we got a lousy service from the tall lady that seems to always be tired, frustrated and angry to be there. Wish they hire people that actually need a job and doesn t make the customer feel like they are getting a bagel for free.

One of my ATF in Queens not Kosher so you can get BEC or SEC on a Bagel. they are big and very tasty you get 15 when you buy a Dozen

Great bagel their bagel have gone to Texas,Louisiana & Scotland UK my kids miss them so we travel with them

Staff is very friendly and food is good. Nice little local spot.

They remodeled and jacked up the prices. Guess who's paying for their remodeling? Lol Won't be go in often at all with those prices.

Great bagels large selection, nothing is left over, the bagels are always warm or hot. Delicious!

There's this girl working there that never uses plastic gloves to cut the bagels and put cream cheese on them. This is a time of Covid so it would be wise if she used plastic gloves when preparing the food for customers. This girl also always cuts the bagels crooked even though she's been working there for a while and still can't cut the bagels straight ever. The bagel just looks unprofessional and nasty when she does the cutting especially she uses no plastic gloves in the process.

Glendale Bagels is a staple of the neighborhood. Good coffee, great bagels, and a huge menu of awesome sandwiches. The prices are inexpensive. A large coffee is 1.75 and the hot sandwiches are usually around 5 dollars. The service is great, all the employees are nice.

Love this bagel store to death. Been coming here since I was old enough to walk. Bagels are always fresh and the service is always given with a smile. Joanna the cashier is one of sweetest girls ever.

In my opinion this is the best bagel shop in queens. I've been going there for at least 15 years, long before I was gluten free. Today I go there to buy bagels for my family and for visiting friends even if I can't enjoy them myself, yet the quality remains top notch and the service fantastic. You really feel like family here. Be warned however the bagels are quite large, so come hungry!

This place is my favorite place to go when i come to new york , the people are cool as hell and they make amazing food .

Foods good quality. But the rush is insane. I ordered for pick up. Gave plenty of time. Went to pick up tok 15 mins to speak to someone. Told my order wasn't ready. Waited 15 more now it's been about an hour since I called it in. Waited another 10 asked again they located it was a bag sitting behind the counter since I had walked in. Cold breakfast, never again for me but my wife loves the place. I'll be in the dnd next door while she waits enjoying my breakfast.

Don't expect a friendly staff when you call all you will get is a person with attitude. On the flyer it should say delivery only if they feel like it.

I haven't been here since the renovation. It was great before, now it's ever better. Cant go wrong with the food from here.

Great place to buy bagels from with tons of sandwich recipe choices. They had recently renovated the place and there are more seats now (inside and some outside when weather permits). The bagels are always fresh because their bakery is in-house. This place is always busy but we came in after 9am so the crowd were already served and left. If you haven't visited yet, you should try them and you never know - you might find a favorite bagel sandwich.

Love the bagels they are fresh and fulfilling. Get the lox and scallion cream cheese
