Good staff. Speedy service. Good coffee and Sandwiches.

Very well appointed rooms, though ours was a little small (also it was their cheapest room so not a complaint). Staff very friendly, excellent breakfast, did not eat here in the evening so can't comment on the restaurant.

This is a kind of local pub for ladies and gentlemen who lunch. It's for the smartish set who don't go to the Gables all the time. There is a great familiar menu. Some people go for the daily roast, which is always good. The plaice is lovely. And the lamb's liver and bacon great on a cold day. They don't mind giving you extra spoons to share the delicious roulade dessert. A real home from home for its regular clientele.

Nicely laid out large pub that does a v good lunch. Disabled access could be better which costs it the final star

Staff unhelpful, unfriendly and ineficient. Mute staff in deli who didn't know what stock they had and was unwilling and had to be prompted to find out. Didn't give any bag for bottle of wine and when prompted produced a brown paper bag. This establishment has no class is overpriced and service is abysmal. Avoid at all costs. Go to the Merrion Inn for food wonderful food and excellent service .

Very nice stay. Just outside of Dublin with good access and wonderful breakfast.

Great coffee. Very friendly staff. Sat on a picnic bench in the car park in the sun with a friend. Very pleasant.

Lovely place to stay in the hotel room and the bar area is great nice smoking area staff are very friendly and helpful food is excellent service is very good beer is lovely and cool great place to stay in all year round

Big restaurant,busy have not visited here for a year or so.My companions were satisfied with their lunch main choice. Mine was just about acceptable. Will visit shortly again to see if this was just an off day.

This bar is fine, but the food is a real let down. It's over priced and the quality is not great. The bar staff and lounge staff are excellent though.

Excellent food as always and top of the class service. You don't even need to call the waiters, they keep an eye on all tables and will come to you straight whenever you feel need of anything.

Fantastic bar food! A hidden treasure and one I will be recommending to friends and family. The food is so tasty with a wide variety of choice and they cater for gluten allergies. The staff are equally as brilliant. I will be back soon!

Delicious food but deli staff are a bit stingey with the fillings. Especially when you're paying 7.50 for the likes of a salmon roll.

Fabulous 2 night stay and rooms are impeccable. All the staff are exceptionally attentive, friendly and welcoming and are a credit to the establishment.
It is a little way out of Dublin town centre, but we'll worth a visit, as Dart railway only 3 minute walk.
I would have no hesitation in recommending you stay there.

Delicious food. We sat outdoors very comfortably. Lovely service. Certainly will be back again. This is not pub grub. This is good food.

We recently enjoyed a dinner, bed & breakfast package with Gleesons and would like to thank all the staff for making this a lovely treat. Special mention to Aisling who was so kind and welcoming.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the premises with hand sanitisers throughout. We felt very safe and protected.

Our room was lovely with a great view to the bay. Decor in the hotel was tasteful and cosy with fires lighting.
Dinner was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the pate. Breakfast was also top quality with good selections. My french toast with bacon was very good. Staff were attentive and friendly and followed safety guidelines.
We finished our visit with a wander around the on-site mini market where we bought some brown bread (best ever) and some other treats.

We really enjoyed our short and much needed break and will be back again hopefully soon for another treat night out.

Just enjoyed a delightful lunch on their revamped outdoor terrace. It was the first time I have been "out to lunch" since mid-March & I was hugely impressed at all of the efforts & safety considerations that Gleesons have put in place given the current public health issues. The great food here is something to which we had been accustomed. Top marks for the many measures they have installed. Lovely, professional & friendly staff too

Great staff, lovely rooms top quality bedding and towels. A real gem.. great bar down stairs too and handy for the city.

Good food. Little bit pricey for the portion you get. Always busy. Good spot for drink or two.

Quite noisy in the evenings. Good place to drink beer and watch football with friends. Food fast served. If you want to visit restaurant zone at the weekend it is better to book a table.
