Gleesons is a great little store and place to eat in Booterstown. They have a lot of sweets from the US, but they are a bit expensive, but they do have a good selection. You can also buy food from Gleesons.
Good food nice atmosphere close to Dart and bus when having a few drinks helps.
Last week early July just out of lockdown we decided we would have a break in Dublin and as we lived near Gleesons many years ago used to b our local we arrived was warmly greeted and welcomed at desk Went up to our room and Wow what a beautiful space soo inviting and everything in pristine condition decor simple but beautiful Enjoyed delicious food as always attentive warm friendly staff and even welcomed by John himself felt so comfortable and all at same time abiding by the rules Had a few drinks in pub later credit to your and your wonderful staff Twas such a pleasure to be out again and see how hard ye are working to help us all feel safe to enjoy good company and great food Look forward to when we can visit again For now it s upwards and onwards can only get better with us all working tog Wishing you cont success Health and Happiness Our sincere appreciation and Thanks Pat and Marion
Oh my goodness! I love gleesons when I'm able to go under normal circumstances but tonight I ordered chicken wings for delivery from their service and it was amazing! So easy to order, arrived exactly on time with a lovely delivery man and the food was unbelievable! The wings were gorgeous and we asked for extra celery and dip which were all there, I was hesitant about their chips but they proved me wrong! It was all SO good, couldn't rate them high enough!
Excellent location(was going to blackrock clinic early next morning)10 min dander.
It was neither good or bad, not great , poor either. Staff was really good and helpful. It is really the staff that made it enjoyable
Simply the best bar in the country at least for the past 35years. Nowhere else comes near.

After a long walk with friends we stopped for lunch. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend.
Lovely place to have your lunch, with variety of meals and prices according to the quality. Fast service delivered by kind staff. You can enjoy thr outdoor terrace with very comfortable sits if the weather is kind.
Overrated and overpriced in my opinion. Used to be better but standards seem to have slipped of late. Good atmosphere usually but staff can be rude.
Cold draft coming through where they are conducting building works in the restaurant area. Menu was OK, not that mad about it to be honest but that was a off a limited Christmas eve menu.
I've come here to get some work done and this is a relatively priced place with nice coffee and a great choice of foods!
Great staff and a nice bar/ lounge..the fish, in this case plaice, was beautifully cooked but the chips were from the freezer and over cooked.. my advice is to order the spuds..
Wouldn't reccomend the restaurant, sides where cold and steak delivered overcooked, also very overpriced considering the cold and overcooked food
Service here is diabolical- come here as the school is only around the corner and it's the same every time - grumpy staff, indifferent owners and dreadful service. Food is hit and miss. Only come due to convenience to Willow
Not only is this one of the best pubs and eateries in the Booterstown area it is also now a fine provider of accommodation. The rooms are bright and airy with a crisp decor which is also restful. The room has all the mod cons one would expect in a 4 star hotel. All very reasonably priced. The dining facilities for the staying guests are in the pub / restaurant downstairs. Very good selection on offer for breakfast, including the ubiquitous full Irish which is very "full".
A very plesent stay recently which included watching the mid morning rugby from the Rugby World Cup in Japan. Great athmosphere during the match.
A beautiful hotel and the rooms are really clean. Very friendly staff. Only the boss didn't even come to our table uns to everyone else. We are also paying customers. Well, the dinner was really tasty. Curious how the breakfast looks like.

Came here for lunch once or twice a week for years. Returned today and had a very poor experience
No staff member came near us, went to the bar to get a menu after 10 mins , waited another 15 mins , went to bar again to try to place an order. Young man behind the bar said he would send someone over. Instead put his coat on and waited for a lift home after his shift whilst sipping a half pint poured by another staff member. Ignored for a further 10 mins in a not very busy pub so our party simply left.
Seems to be understaffed with very inexperienced staff these days.

Very popular with older people who like to have dinner in the middle of the day. Chairs were comfortable. Car park was packed.

Top class barmen and staff along with creamy pints of Guinness, whats not to like! Looking forward to satying in the hotel once completed.

It's a standard big Irish suburban pub. Full price beer. Perfectly fine, I suppose, but just a big pub.
No obvious place to park a bicycle either.
Gleesons has become our 'to go' place. Always get good food at a good price from AMAZING staff.
