If it was somewhere other than in the CBD it would be fantastic
Enjoyed a show here comfortable seating good staff
Lovely place with great entertainment and brochures
My favourite place to enjoy live entertainment due to the stunning architecture and fantastic sound.
Great entertainment venue with very good facilities. Recommended.
Love visiting the gallery here. Beautiful facility and staff. Haven't visited the museum downstairs yet
Fast and polite the food wasnt amazing.
The art gallery is awesome though
What a great venue, well thought out venue, BUT, the only downfall is the parking, where you have to walk to the shopping centre parking for late nights.
Staff were most helpful and courteous today when I was there with my disabled father. They made the visit much easier than I anticipated it would be.
Fantastic world class facilities but in a terrible location. Think great location? You might want to include parking next time. Wrestle with the thousands of other restaurant goers, along side any performance guests. Obviously someone refused to listen to the word of reason for one reason or other when building this masterpiece.
Saw Foster & Allen... wonderful show, searing was great. Very disappointed (as were many others) that cd s etc were unavailable owing to pricing arrangements with establishment. Why is it necessary to take more when you have the seating prices??
Great place for live shows theatre and art but tickets pricey usually over $50
An afternoon concert at the Glasshouse Port Macquarie with Mark Vincent. He is an amazing performer who just keeps getting better. We first saw him on a Bravo Cruise about 3 yrs ago and thought he was good. He performed in The Glasshouse after that and it was terrific. What with his wonderful voice combined with the acoustics of the Glasshouse the sound is amazing.
A truly brilliant venue of which we can all be very proud.
AWESOME night at the Simon and Garfunkel tribute show at the Glasshouse
A great facility with superb acoustics easy access
Shows I have been to have been great and the main auditorium is not so large that you feel a million miles away from the stage.
The Ross Family Studio puts on a free lunchtime concert each Friday - all local artists/musicians - well worth a visit
The Artlab is where the art and craft workshops are held, high up in the back of the building. If you're attending a workshop outside of business hours be sure to be on time or you'll be locked out!!!
Enjoyed a live show 2 hrs of great singing and music.
Great venue with good variety of shows, also has gallery and lots of tourist info.
Great staff, wonderful time spent at the glasshouse
Was geocaching. Beautiful buikding with great art programmes
Splendid place to come to, wonderful acts and experiences, good service; it would be helpful to have proper hand-drying facility of some kind in the 'restrooms'.
Menopause The Musical was hilarious, and what they sang about is oh so true in life's journey to menopause! A must see!
Nice little free art gallery, definitely worth a stop.
Great place to visit and see a show with friends bring a jacket a/C cold when sitting in a show
The Glasshouse Regional Gallery is an outstanding cultural focal point in Port Macquarie and the curatorial and gallery staff are really exceptional. So lucky to have this icon in the mid-north coast of NSW.
Thank you too all the staff at glasshouse port Macquarie they helped change my seating due too health reasons .and on the night staff were helpful .
Great location for shows, exhibits and tourist information.
Had a great night out watching Ross Noble at a wonderful entertainment centre.
For the first half of the performance the theatre was hot and stuffy. Was improved for second half after many complaints from many patrons. Made it hard to relax and enjoy the performance.
Great venue.Theatre is good for live shows. Information area is good for tourists.Located in the centre of town with restraunts and parking nearby.
Attended a graduation ceremony there. Well put together, lovely snacks available for after.
I along with four of my friends attended a performance of Soul Sisters yesterday evening Wow was it jam packed from the start with four very talented ladies sining their hearts out. The show was fantastic Enertaining from start to finish Could have bopped along for hours. Seriously very fortunate to have experienced this great event plus how good is it to actually be a part of a live performance at these very trying times in our history. We are blessed to be living in this part of NSW and all doing the right thing Stay safe everyone It's disappointing if you missed these ladies because they were fabulous
Excellent value for money, the meal is perfect and the service correct. The restaurant is just a little noisy.
Love this place... always fabulous exhibitions to look at.
Gallery with photography and traditional art, with intention and story of the author
Love this place! Local and international talent come here! My daughter dances here! Love the facilities. Dispite the negative impact of the locals from the beginning when it was first introduced. Now, love it!
Great authentic thai food. Friendly staff.
Try the signature dishes, especially the soft shell crab!
Have been going here fairly frequently lately, mainly for kids related things. This is a great facility and it's been pretty amazing the other shows that I see going on there. Worth going too for a show if there's one on.
Smaller than expected but I have no complaints at all, easy to get in and out. Could see the show, sound was fine etc
Very good location for a concert, seats are plain but comfortable. Not too big or small.
Have never seen a bad show or performance here. It's the jewel in the cultural crown of Port Macquarie
Have been to the Glasshouse three times the seating is always good for sound and view of the stage is great.
The $10 lunches are hard to beat - delicious, fast, friendly and filling :-)
Comfortable entertainment, a wide selection of shows to suit most.
Smallish theatre but great seating and view of the stage throughout.
Excellent regional theatre with very good facilities.
Nothing special. Glasshouse does not match the town motif and charm. To big and to glassy if there is such a thing.
Cost the locals a massive fortune, and really didn't live up to how much it cost. Has a little gallery with free entry if you like art. Has kids programs in the holidays and a piano that anyone can play. Only one big theatre and one little one. Most shows are expensive.
I am referring to the Petula Clark show 21st May.
We were seated row B 24 & 25, level with the electric guitarist and boom box, could not hear a word Petula was singing as we were deafened by the guitar and at the intermission we left. Very disappointed by the whole experience.
I kove coming here for the variety of entertainment and the local art gallery.
Beautiful venue to be seen in, such professional techs, great resources, a pleasure to come through this venue today
Undecent service. Was charged a plate that couldnt eat
Fantastic art gallery here. This months exhibition had Aboriginal art on display - great art and lovely friendly service from the lady there. They have 2 Koala Trail Koalas there!! Dont miss it.
The wiggles concert was great.. not being able to cater for young children in capsules and prams etc in the seats you purchased sucked a bit and not having the kids able to dance was also a downside.. wiggles should reconsider their venue next time..
6 couples attended the Glasshouse to watch and Elvis impersonator. Great night everyone enjoyed.
Facilities are great
Always a lovely experience at our fabulous GLASSHOUSE theatre. ..
Such a stunning auditorium. Acoustics are AMAZING! !!
So proud it belongs to us ...Lynne
