If you want them to climb all your furniture and use it as a step ladder then this is the company for you. Even after we put a protective barrier on. It was removed and a couple scratches were made. Also broken glass was left .
We had a bay window that developed a crack that finally went from bottom to top. My Grandson had a friend who was knowledgeable about installing windows and we were thinking DIY. The friend said that our 93" wide window was too big for DIY and recommended Glass by Lund.
I went to their website and clicked on the contact info to send them an email including photos of the window. They emailed back an estimate and asked for 50% down to fabricate and install the double pane sealed window with a fab time of about 4 weeks. I phoned in my credit card # for the down payment. They sent an expert out to our place to get exact measurements. We must have been out and missed him but he go the info and started the fab. They scheduled an exact date/time for the install.
My first face to face meeting with them was the install team with 3 people. I only had to remove one lamp that was too close to the window. They worked around our couch and draperies. It took 3 guys lifting hard on 3 big suction handles to pull the broken window and install the new. It was all done in 30 minutes. I called their office and again paid by credit card the 50% balance. Everyone was easy to work with and efficient. This all went smoothly mostly using email and phone. I recommend Glass by Lund.
I left a bad review recently and it has now been deleted by this company. You now know that you cannot trust the reviews. They have kept only this one review. I wonder how many other BAD reviews they have deleted???
I had two windows and one French door installed by Lund. The team showed up on time and finished within 6 hours. They removed the existing windows and door, installed the new ones, put all new trim and caulking in. They cleaned up well. The team was professional, polite, and thorough. I'd use these guys again.
Absolutely thrilled about the wonderful new sliding window we ordered and had installed. Todd thought of many things I did not, making sure the locks were a nice height out of side and yet accessible. Our building is older and wanted to keep a streamline looking with pre-existing window front and that was done very well. Thank you!

The latch on our Milgard slider sheared off recently leaving the door in the permanently locked position. Install was back in late 1990's. I called Glass by Lund and explained the situation. I was able to use a thin screw driver to dislodge the latch, take the handle apart and bring the broken latch in to research replacement options. Todd Lund greeted me and said he would take a look in the shop to see if he might have the part. Three minutes later, he returned to the front office with a new replacement part and handed it to me....no charge! You cannot find this level of service with most businesses these days. We had a special request as we needed 24 custom mirrors to fit a vintage window frame we purchased. Not only did Glass By Lund have a GREAT price, the turn around time was super quick. Will definitely return in the future for any glass / mirror needs.

Don't order special sized glass. Ordered 1 piece and they messed up 3 times and I finally just said screw it and took it. I didn't wanna deal with another week delay when a 1 week order turned in to 3 weeks already. Kinda a joke, the size I ordered wasn't crazy just kept coming in to big.
The price for these guys are hard to beat but the final product isn't as good as we hoped. The install process was going good but then on one of their breaks my address was given to someone to deliver a deer bust. I mean go ahead and give them your own address but I was not comfortable with my address being handed out. One window frame was broken so they had to do a partial install and not caulk it in, which they did come back and replaced and caulked the window in. I COULD HAVE DONE A BETTRR CAULKING JOB MYSELF. I have had to go behind your crew and re caulk almost all my windows because they rushed the process and left multiple little air pockets around the whole window (I do have pictures). I also understand the device used to take old windows can cause some damages but I cracked and bet one of my window sills that I now have to repair. DONT RUSH THE PROCESS OR GIVE OUT CUSTOMERS PERSONAL INFORMATION!
