Take my dog here it's great they have secure place for dogs to play

A nice place for a walk. Every once in a while it gets quite busy with people wandering round playing pokemon during in-game events . Sometimes the council allow too many large events and the ground ends up in a terrible state. Combined with the weather, it meant that large sections had to have turf replaced.

Amazing great for a wee stroll with the dog also a closed off area near the sandpark for dogs to run around

Beautiful city park, typical English style, lawn and few trees. Beautiful flower beds and buildings of undoubted architectural interest. At the center of the park there is a beautiful fountain that has no water. During the day it is frequented by families and sportsmen. The famous winter garden is currently closed for renovation. Through the park it is easy to reach the city center. Along the way we find charity shops and a great Black Coffee. This chain of bars is widespread throughout the United Kingdom.

Amazing place. The people palace museum it's a treasure. Congrats to the council authority for their vision about history.

Great big park where you have the peoples palance the park also has a sand park area for kids and you can hire bikes to go around the park

There's a lot of history here, plus regular events not forgetting the World's Piping Championships every summer.

The green was always the place for football in our youth,then later in teenage years there was the carnival with all the teenage angst ( birds,guzzling ect) There was also the.......shall we say territoral disputes ! If you get my drift ??? Ah great memories. .......btw.

There is an enclosed park you can use if you have a dog that runs away, or you want to do training with them.

Lovely green space in city centre. Watch the rowing competions on the river and warm yourself with a coffee at the People's Palace.

Great venue for a gig.How about Metallica,Bon Jovi or Guns N Roses please.

The oldest park in Glasgow has lots to offer with age appropriate activities if you are 1 or 101. Enjoy a quite stroll, learn the history of Glasgow in the People's Palace or let the kids wild on the swings and chutes.

Best for exercises on a Sunny day with friends or family.

Great iconic park, widely used over the last 100 years as a meeting place for the people of Glasgow, especially when there is an important event - cultural or political

Wonderful to visit, one can feel the history and heritage of this place in the knowledge that 4 young lads from Argyll would come here in 1872 and form the world renowned football club, The Rangers fc thus ensuring Glasgow greens place in the annals of history.

Well kept park, People's Palace set majestically within the grounds.

Huge park with so much space to do different kind of exercise, it's the best park l've visited so far and the best is that it's so safe.

Yes it was very green. Might be down to Celtic's influence on the city..

A very wonderful garden and the smell of trees and grass is refreshing, but there are no services such as toilets or light food but a car alone that sells water, refreshments, and light bulbs with a dabbel chain.
Very sweet, where you can walk and cover your legs, as well as games for children.

Nice open space in pleasant surroundings. Not far from city centre. Twenty minute walk from Argyle Street. Fifteen minute walk from Trongate. Regular buses out to Glasgow Green from Ingram Street.

Glasgow Green is one of many parks in Glasgow but my favourite...Full of history and next to city centre..but most of all my local boozer the Heilan Jessie

Great park by the river, venue for the World Pipeband Championship.

Fun place to spend some time with friends and family, especially in sunny days !! Event has some rides for kids !!!!

Looks lovely covered in frost! Dog owners should pick up after their animals, though.

Nice area, their is something for everyone. The dog park is great as it is fully enclosed and well maintained. The children's play park is also well maintained and lots of fun.

A lovely place...we were there when there was an SNP rally and a fayre...very pleasant
