Ask if they have lighter & more comfortable shoes to rent out if you feel the ones you got don't feel OK. Staff are OK & courteous. You will have a good time if you love ice-skating.

Went to a game on Sunday and was disappointed cause they didnt have concession open
I liked it a lot but i am no skating expert. Just wanted to go somewhere with the girls
The ref room is very big, but shares a washroom with the women's change room. The rink is VERY cold.
Great rink with 2 sheets, youth hockey and men's league
Geat rink for training and also fun for family skate.
Lots of hockey dads yelling. Usually it's the hockey moms that make me want to put a 12 guage in my mouth, but this time it was the dads. It was a big ole group of them too. All they did the whole game was wine and moan about perfectly fine calls the refferees were making. One auditions man even had the nerve to shout profanities at the off coming players. Another quite boisterous hockey dad was bald but had lots of flow coming from the side of his head, like a fryer or monk who hasn't cut his hair. I personally think that hockey parents in general should not be allowed from the confines of their holes in which they live, drink beer, eat pretzels, and watch footage of their children pretending they are professionals. The rink was nice.
Why do I have to pay $9 if I already have skates. If your a traditionalist then go, but I'm not, so I don't
The place was very clean and the instructor was super nice and helped everyone even kids with disabilities. The food was amazing and made everyone feel very comfortable. I had a great amount of fun watching my grandchildren out on the ice having fun with the other children and instructor.
Just a boring ring where you go in circles. Cones are around the middle so nobody can go there. Skates cost a bit much.
Free Skate was cancelled today without notifying the park district which had planned to send multiple summer camp groups for today's skate time. All of the kids were turned away. At least three full busloads of children (high capacity big buses) were disappointed by this lack of communication. I was disappointed for them as well, as they were so excited when we arrived, and so crushed when they came right back out minutes later.
Nice rink. Looked like the ice was well maintained. No complaints about anything from my son.
Some staff is very rude. I don't know the role of Chris Heiser but certainly she will screw up the business of glacier, which are agreed by many parents after I talked to other people. Horrible experience with her: 1) we paid our ice fee to go in for our coach classes but she stopped my kids for no reason and so kids were late for the classes, 2) every time she seemed funny and called my kids' name purposely in funny way even after multiple-round corrections and didn't care kids' feeling, 3) we love our coaches there but every time my kids feel bad as she is a rude person there to the kids.
MUSIC still LOUD BETWEEN PLAYS AND TOTALLY UNNECESSARY.
Nice facility. Two sheets of ice, great shack bar pro shop.
Very nice local rink. Facilities are clean. Ice is ok
Actually a nice place to have hockey games... Far from our home ice but 2 sheets of ice and the rink is maintained well.... wish they served beer but no alcohol
If your looking to free skate go somewhere else, Public Skate times are terrible.
Nice place. Much above average arena. Easy parking. Decent snack food. Friendly staff. Comfortable temperatures at/off the ice. Love the zamboni!
The ice rink had been going through its free skate period with no zamboni so the ice was very rough and hard to skate on later in the evening. There was no music during the free skate, even after requesting it twice. There was however sub par live music playing way too loudly in the lobby. Also, there were no staff members on the ice to mediate poor public skating behavior, someone in my party for knocked over twice because of rowdy behavior. Not a great experience here.
This place provides a great environment for highschool hockey
It was really cool place and had a lot of fun watching some hockey.
The staff here were rude when we were getting our skates. The skates we really bad quality and the ice arena was really choppy. Would not recommend
Great drop off and lobby. My son is reffing here now. Concessions are just ok.
Great experience...nice arena for a hockey tournament!!
Good facility , uninspired instructors, they need to hire better people
bring the kids here sometimes we always have a blast
Svetlana and Elona very good teachers , for my 4 years son. Each class he is better and better!
Great place for kids to learn Ice skating, Hockey. Very friendly staff and coaches
Would be great if they served adult beverages for weekend evening games.
Very good clinics. My child improved a lot taking classes at Glacier Ice Arena. Jeff is one of the best coaches here.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! HOME RINK OF GRACIE GOLD PLUS MANY MORE SKATING LEGENDS. YOU ARE AWESOME, GLACIER ICE ARENA~!!!
Friendly and fun skating rink, a family business too!
First and last time skating there.
Rude, stuck up, and most expensive rink in 50 mile radius.
Very good ice my daughter comes near since she was 7
Hot. Swampy. Locker rooms oddly shaped. Womens room is in a way back corner. Only 2 rinks. Bathrooms are disgusting. Pro shop needs some work. Staff not entirely present
It was great. Excellent entertainment for the Family.
Nice facility, but concessions have yet to be open when we're there.
A great place for some ice skating fun. They have walkers for those that are still learning to skate. They do get busy during weekend open skate, so it's a good idea to get there as soon as it starts. There is a concession stand and snack area if you need a quick bite.
I am on a hockey league here and love how laid back the facility is. However, the ice is always choppy and the locker rooms are pretty run down. Still a great place for newbies!
Nice ice rink for a good fun time. We went with the family for a weekday skating session and service was quick, the ice is well maintained.
Always fun to watch kids play hockey and they run a GREAT Tournment for SPECIAL HOCKEY PLAYERS
Great rink, well laid out, clean. The ice appeared in very good condition, and the front desk staff was really helpful.
