Give Kids The World Review

We stayed there for 7 days and the staff was amazing and also the volunteers. My daughter and son had so much fun they had so many activities to do. But the best part my daughter liked was the ice cream and the swimming pool. I also recommend when you go to download the app to them cause i didn't do that till the last day and forgot to get pictures my daughter took there. My daughter was kind of sad about but it was my fault and the app tells you everything you need to do and has answers to some questions you might ask. But other then that its a great place hope to be able to go again in a couple of years.

This is a wonderful place for everyone to volunteer, both young and old will walk away with a sense of wonderful gladness from being here.

This is the Most Amazing place in the world !!! EVERY person is so kind !!! Everything is so amazing and every child is made to feel like the most special person in Earth for the time there !!! And the family is treated like Kings and Queens too !! I want to go back and volunteer my time there because of the way they treated our family !!! I rated them a 5 but it should of been a 100 I Love this place and will go back !!!

GKTW is an 84 acre, non profit "storybook" resort where Wish children with life threatening illnesses and their families ate treated to weeklong, cost free vacations. This is NOT a public location. Families are referred there, and volunteers must go through a screening and orientation. Be sure to check out their website for full details!

Gktw is like heaven on earth its the most magical place on for kids with illnesses to go on there make a wish trip there is sobmuch to see and do here that you never have to leave the village and could still have an amazing time the staff is amazing at what they do here and they all put the children first no questions asked you don't have to want for anything while your here your treated like royalty and let me not forget to mention that you can have icecream all day long even before breakfast and the kids love that they have a theater mini golf a free arcade a rocking spa and wacky hair studio magical castle talking tree hourse back rideing trick or treating water park and pools life size candy land play ground plus rides for the kids and a lityle train for them to ride and everyday they plan activitys for there guest meet an greets with your disney friends pirates and princess pool party princess tea party mayor Clayton and miss mary the bunnys birthyday party. Plus they take pics of your family while your doing activitys and stuff and make you a cd with all the pics so that when you leave you have it all to look back on

This place is truly like a heaven on earth. I was a wish kid back in 2005 and I was too young to really remember it but my family has always raved endlessly about how amazing and special this place was. We've always wanted to make a trip out as a family to be able to revisit and volunteer so that we can give to other kids the unique and unforgettable experience of staying here at the village. This year is our second coming back and I can say that even as a volunteer it's such a special experience. The entire atmosphere is unlike any other place, it's so friendly and joyous and just so pleasant to be in. I'm definitely going to come back regularly with my family and friends to volunteer and give back. There is no better place I would recommend going if you get a make-a-wish, or if you're looking for somewhere to volunteer too!

Give kids the world is a place filled with smiling faces, lots of excitement, bright colors,and great memories. I enjoyed the fun atmosphere the staff and volunteer was amazing.

My granddaughter was a Make A Wish guest.GKTW was over the top considerate of everything a little girl with challenges could need or want! From extra large bathrooms to a game of mini golf, even just staying in The Village was a vacation!

Make-A-wish sent our daughters family there. They have a son with chronic heart & lung failure and Chromosome 6 Deletion. We were able to go with them to help . We will never forget this amazing loving place.Thank you so much for making a dream a reality for there family.

Magical time spent with some Amazing Kids. Once you volunteer there you can't wait to go back and be a part of the excitement of helping terminally ill kids leave their cares behind for a week of FUN!

This place has actually changed my life forever. I was so happy to see that children with life threatening illnesses have a place to go and let loose. It's great for families that have been dealing with stress of doctors, hospitals, and medicines to just relax and have fun, with some sense of normalcy. Christina if you ever read this thank you for making our orientation fun and hilarious. As for other families you'll feel inclined to go to the many parks here in Orlando and I recommend not doing that right away. Take this village in a bit. Have fun and play games, play putt putt golf, or ride some of the rides provided. Grab some ice cream and hit the theater for a late night movie (different movie every night) or stop in at the pool and take a swim with the family. Take this place in as best as you can because magic happens here and I'm not gonna give away all their secrets but I will say the children get a surprise everyday throughout their stay. Make sure to meet Mayor Clayton too he's usually hopping around somewhere. God bless this place forever.

Thanks to the staff and volunteers for putting a smile on our child's face from the time we arrived until the time we left the village . There aren't words for how amazing our trip was here. Honestly could have stayed on the resort grounds the whole trip and it would have still been an amazing trip. Amazing and friendly service so many activities there is no way to do them all. Just a wonderful place full of wonderful people.

My son was just finishing up his chemo after 3yrs when we went there. It was a magical memorable trip that far exceeded any of our expectations! The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful! The gifts keep coming, the food is endless, and the entertainment just kept getting better! My family had been through alot over 3 yrs and this was my son's wish to go to Disney world, he is 17now(was 5 at the time) none of us have ever forgotten the kindness and blessings we received from that trip! Give kids the world is an AMAZING wonderland!!!

One of our Favorite places in the World! Coming back for one day was amazing. I can't even begin to describe what this place did for us several years ago. They gave us a chance as a family to have a vacation where we didn't have to stress or worry. Peace of mind is worth more than Gold.

WE HAD THE COURTESY. WE COULDN'T HAVE HAD A BETTER TIME. THE FOOD WAS GREAT "POPPA JOHNS, BOSTON MARKET, PERKINS PLUS ALL YOU CAN EAT ICE CREAM. THE PARTIES AND EVENTS THEY HAD EVERY NIGHT WAS EPIC. I WOULD LIVE THERE IF I COULD LOL THATS HOW GREAT IT WAS. WE REALLY LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.

We love this place we wish we could go back we went when my sister was 5 years old I wish we could go now she's 11 we would have so much fun I think this is the most fun we've ever had my sister goes through so much back then my sister had only gone through about 600 surgeries now she's over a thousand we need fun like this again

My daughter Citlali Ortega was given a nice wish to go to Disney to know the pricesa thank you very much it was in 2013 my girl is already with dad God thank you from the heart my girl had fun with her sisters and a brother thank you

Never been there personally but my best friend brought her family of 5 and can t stop raving about how wonderful it is. (This is unusual for her personality) Tons of activities every day and a comfortable, clean place. Her kids are 8, 7, and 4. Her 4 year old has leukemia and the staff was super attentive. Character visits, fishing pond, pools and playgrounds accommodate children of all kinds and made her family feel closer on vacation because of the convenience and over all happy vibe. They loved the mayor and his wife.

My wife and I had the pleasure of volunteering at this resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. It is a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida. The resort's focus is providing accommodations and access to donated theme park tickets.

This place was the most amazing experience my family has ever had. The bond we grew together there was unbelievable they will always have a place in my heart everyone who volunteers their time to make every child minute there amazing are the real heroes who make this possible thank you gktw
