Gktw offer's so much fun for kids from all over the world

This is an organization that houses children who are critically ill and their families made through many foundations that grants wishes. My family was there because my wife had submitted a wish for my son and they asked for 3 places that he could only wish to go and he eventually picked Disneyworld. His wish was granted through the Northern Alberta Make a Wish Foundation. They had made all of the arrangements plus accommodation at Give The Kids The World Village.It is about 45 minutes outside of Orlando and approximately close to 30 minutes to Disneyworld. This is basically a resort for the kids and they have everything you need or want like...all the icecream you can eat 12 hours a day, a pool with sand plus a spray park, miniature golf, arcade, rides, a train and just to many other things to remember.
We stayed in a villa/condo 2 bedrooms with a full kitchen. They also have apartments. The main center where you went for your meals (delicious cooking) breakfast lunch and dinner, plus snacks any time you wanted. Activities like village idol. We had the time of our lives and I'm eternally grateful for all the love and support that we had received there. We went to all 3 parks and sea world had a blast but the fun still never stopped until we were asleep.

Our home away from home..most amazing place for special needs family. However you had to stay here prior through a wish granting place to visit. But a must if you are in the area its always changing!

Great place for great reasons, really good place to volunteer.

We had an awesome time. When we werent at the parks there's lots to do. They really care about the kids and well as all their guest. Most resorts we've been to care only about themselves, unfriendly and even less Intuitive or caring about special needs guest. Thank you for an awesome time.

I volunteer there on Thursdays. LIKE the people I work with and enjoy meeting the guests and kids.

Amazing place to experience. The only problem is you don't really get to experience it unless you choose to not do the parks as once you've done the parks you then fly home the next day, giving you very little / no time to experience each fantastic daily activity they do. We only got a short half hour when we arrived as was late and a short morning on the day we left as had to get coach back. The staff are amazingly caring, helpful and supporting, they really are. You get the opertunity to return for 4 days a year which I think is amazing, however, you don't get to stay at the village, no costs of flights or hotel is covered, leaving us not being able to go back as we simply could not afford it which is really upsetting as we would of loved to experience this fantastic place that we still didn't get to experience in the wish. I think children should get at least 1 / 2 full days here after the parks so this way they can enjoy this fantastic place. I also think funds should be covered for flights (at least) so people can return. My son kian was devistated when he heard we could return but sadly dont have the money do to so, leaving this amazing opertunity not possible :'(

They are the greatest. So friendly and courteous to my family that was here for a family vacation from make a wish. All my grandchildren were included and so happy. They do so much for sick children here,,you can forget your troubles for a little bit. GOD BLESS

Magical experiences for any and all wish families that request to go to WDW. Their program bends over backwards to create as stress free a vacation as possible. The staff and volunteers (angels) are equally as friendly as WDW cast members. And the food is excellent.

Beautiful place and the people working there are one of a kind. Blessings to all of them. And the kids and their families were awesome. I would like to help those people any way I can .

What can I say about this place but it's a piece of heaven on for children. My daughter is having the best time of her life and it brings me nothing but joy to see her this happy. My family and me truly feel blessed to be part of this experience.

Definitely a great place to go for kids with disabilities and their families. They truly care about each individual person who visits and want to make their stay special, paying attention to the little details. People who run it, the employees and many volunteers, are the best!

I went here with my loving deceased brother when he was still alive they are so friendly and nice I loved it! I am going back there on the anniversary of my brother's death he would be so happy! I am also special needs I am loving every bit of it

We stopped back after 9 years to see my daughter's star. It was so great to see the changes. It made my heart Happy seeing how awesome it is growing there. Brought tears to my eyes!

I volunteered here four years ago and it was a life changing experience. This village truly is magical in it's own special way. But it's the people that work here that make it so special. I have moved out of FL, but I hope to return one day visit.

What a wonderful place for the Wish families. The villas look amazing and comfortable. The families are given everything they need to make their stay wonderful.
My husband, son, future daughter-in-law and I volunteered this past week. How rewarding for us. We were all smiles during our time there making sure that the children and their family have a fabulous time.
Very well run organization to organize 1700 shifts of volunteers per week.

A wonderfull of place!!!! We did our make a wish for my son for Disney and stayed here. As a parent hands down I loved it better than the actual theme parks! They really accommodate anything you may need! The volunteers are awesome! The villas are clean up to date. It's a true vacation hands down. Next time I'm in Florida I'm volunteering to help there to give the same experience we had. Much to do there. Arcades, fishing, some rides, and much much more.... And I heard they've added on... And your kiddo gets a star on the ceiling so anytime your there you can see it.... Hands down best place ever!!

I had an amazing time here at give kids the world! Mayor Clayton tucked me in and he was great. I went to Ms. Mary's tea party and it was fun. Overall I had a wonderful time!!!

The best place in the world loved our Daughter Daisy's wish trip we had the best week of our lives for her 8th birthday in November. Fantastic people so amazing. X

We have stayed at give kids the world for a wish trip and it was a dream come true.

Back in 2012 my daughter has just beat cancer at 4 yrs old. This place was a blessing to be a part of! We had so much fun, and we plan on visiting again very soon!

What a phenomenal place. I could not be happier they way the treated my kids and and my wife and I.

That place is magical. Everyone there treat you very good. Plus they have a lots of fun stuffs that the kids can do in there. We've been there almost a month ago. The favorite place for my girls was the ice cream place My girls had a such a great time. And the food very good. the girls love the little tables and chairs in the dining room. Thank you to everyone from give a kids the world village for such great service.
