Girls Prep Review

I applied to this school for my children and recinded all other options when we were accepted We attended orientation, and purchased uniforms w/ the schools logo all for two (2) Children then they never contacted me in advance for assessment of one child it was always day of or the day before which is very inconsiderate to do in the summer as were on vacation often. I asked to be notified in advance at least two days but they said they didn't know when they would asses students very confusing I would be out of town and receive a text to be there at 8am out of the blue and three days before school I received a text message that I declined one of my children's seats creating total confusion I had to scramble for options Both Girls Prep schools are on the top floors of other schools and they serve regular school lunch. Probably a good school in regards to education. but they have poor communication depending on an automated system with no reachable extensions to return calls in the summer. None of the staff knew how to set up a projector at orientation and we weren't allowed to use the bathroom right beside the library of girls prep were orientation took place. We were given poorly made lunch bags for our children there was no coffee water or snacks and basically we only watched a YouTube video which made it seem like a waste of time to have an orientation with no real purpose doesn't seem intelligent or considerate. Either way, we didn't have a chance to attend and I found a better opportunity.

Its a really bad school had a friends daughter bully by classmates and the teachers and school didnt do to solve the situation. Now the child is getting medical help because she's depressed n scared to go to school. If we send our precious children to good school is because we hope they get treated good n be safe but at this school is all the opposite. DONT RECOMEND IT AT ALL.!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a Student at GPEMS and Know i'm a student at GIRLS PREP BRONX MIDDLE.To be honest my school is one of the best school I have ever went to because all the students and faculty members are always ready and engaged in every day activities at school. They are all willing to help you when help is needed .I feel very safe in my school .I would always appreciated and cherish my school .

This school is the most worst school I ever when to! The teachers are so rude no matter what, and the food. When I saw my kid in the office and she said it was the food why she threw upI wasn t shocked. How the food looks like and the smell makes me wanna barf. Also, this teacher named, Monica Almonte, is rude to everyone. I kept on hearing that my kid hates that teacher and she wanted to change classes. The teacher even forced my kid to eat the food and she said no. The teacher was stupid enough to almost send her to the office. Not a good school! I just say beware of many, many bad stuff in that school...

I go to school there and it has good care and great staff and responsible students. With the 4 core values I will learn the way of life and good sportsmanship. Also the trips give girls and boys an adventure experience.

I love this school! My daughter has been in this school since first grade and I do not regret having changed her since she went to a Private School in Kindergarten. The education in this school is of quality and they prepare the girls for when they go to enter to College
