After quite a few setbacks, we bought a beautiful house in Aspro Crete at the end of 2019. From the beginning of our search, Lola has advised and assisted us very well. We have just bought our second property in Chania Province, Crete, with Lola acting as our lawyer for both transactions. These went very smoothly because she is fluent in English. As well as the usual services for buying and selling property, Lola also handled changing of names for utilities (included in the fees), and recommended a tax accountant who specializes in tax matters for expatriates. She also helped us to open a local bank account.
Through a Power of Attorney which we gave her on our Greek bank account, Lola handled all the payment transactions while we returned home. Lola quickly organized to meet a Public Notary, which is required for the Power of Attorney. She also provided a standard Greek Will which is required under Greek law to ensure property inheritance within the family even if a property is in joint names. Lola also recommended lodging our Greek Wills with the Public Notary for safety. We appreciated Lola s efficiency and cheerfulness, and are therefore more than happy to recommend for property and other complementary services.
