A very "special" place. I went in there this past Saturday; I asked for a dozen zeppole's and asked if they could make a shrimp wrap for me after seeing they served wraps and also salads with shrimp so I figured this should not be a problem. The girl said yeah sure, rang me up and I paid then waited 15 minutes before a blonde guy asked if I was being helped; I told him yes and told him what I was waiting for. He looked at the guy with wavy brown hair who then confronted the girl who rang me up and she told him the kitchen was giving her hard time about the shrimp wrap so he looked at me and said they don't have shrimp wraps. umm okkk, so then I was refunded. YOU COULDN'T HAVE TOLD ME THIS 15 MINUTES AGO?? And now I waited for the Zeppole's that were not even being made yet at this point either. 5 minutes goes by and the blonde guy asks what I'm waiting for again, I tell him the Zeppoles and now the brown haired guy looks confused and slowly goes to the display where there are "zeppoles". He takes them out and slowly looks at them then tells me he has to make them and it will be 15 minutes. Yeah, I know I probably should have just asked for the $ back from the Zeppoles now, but I didn't. So I walk next door to the deli where I am treated like a human and get a wrap. I go back to Gino's 20 minutes later (to give them them extra time since this seems to be rocket science to them) and the brown haired guy and the girl who rang me up look confused, I say yeah I'm here for the Zeppole's; again they have a slow look to them. She turns and they both look into the metal bowl the Zeppole's are sitting in. She whispers something to him and he says "yeah, but they are still warm." Did these people not think I was coming back for the Zeppole's after I paid for them? He puts them into a container and says "I gave you two extra." Holy Cow, you got to be kidding me! Thanks for the 2 extra??? I felt like I was in the twilight zone. When I told my sister in law what happened, she said she was not surprised. She used to go there, but no more because of similar bizarre behavior. Bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE. BASIC HUMAN BEHAVIOR AND COURTESY cannot be met. Do the owners even care who works there? I have low standards for people as it is, but this is an all time low.

Came with a groupon for lunch, ordered a personal margarita pie, chicken roll, and two grandma slices. Took around 30 min to come out with one other table there. Grandma slices were coated in so much grease, very gross, chicken roll was dry and sadly didn't come with any dipping tomato sauce, and the personal pie was just fine, the crust was like cardboard.
Interior was nice, sad the food was mediocre.

Their food is GREAT!! However, their staff is not so friendly. You can easily hear it over the phone and in person they're terrible at acknowledging you. I think they need to work on their customer service, then I'd give them 5 stars.

Food is really great here, but I went in today to order some lunch, and I witnessed the pizza maker with his mask off and eating by the counter where they make the pizza. Especially during a worldwide pandemic, I m now worried about wether they follow guidelines to maintain the public safe. It s a sad feeling for me because I really love their food, but I have family in my home who have respiratory problems and I cannot risk getting sick. I hope they enforce guidelines soon.

I specifically bought enough food to cover the $20 which they used sales tax to help cover the amount, because you don't get a refund on the Groupon certificate.

Then they charged me sales tax out of pocket.

They shouldn't be so shady

I go to this lovely place quite a bit! This is my favorite place to have a bite. I visit this spot frequently. The food is very good, the workers are welcoming and the prices are decent. I like meeting in this restaurant over a decent dinner.

Terrible service. The manager James was beyond rude, especially to his workers. As a customer, seeing how employees at Gino's are treated makes me pity anyone who works under this type of management. There is no reason for a manager to be disrespecting and humiliating other employees. I will no longer be a customer at such a dysfunctional establishment.

Today, I had rice balls from your pizzeria. They were the second best I ever had. I m sorry, but my late aunt made the best. And since she passed, I have been trying to find something that would be close. All the others weren t anywhere near. Your s were excellent. The closest thing to perfection.

By the way, I have not always liked certain things. I found pizzas sometimes were a bit oily.

However, I also had a pizza with no sauce but with cheese and chicken cutlet pieces. Another home run. .

If people read these reviews, I hope they remember this one and consider ordering from you when the craving hits them. In this economic struggling time, I wish you the best. And look forward to some more from you.

Ordered from here through the Slice App. ETA for delivery was 1 hour, fine. An 1 hour 15 min later, we call the restaurant to get an update on our food, they tell us that it's on the counter, and they're waiting for the driver to finish delivering other food so he can come back and get it to deliver it to us, not great... but fine. I want to mention at this point that in the delivery instructions I EXPLICITLY stated to call when they got here (and I provided a phone number - our landlords don't like it when delivery people ring/knock at their door). Almost 45 minutes MORE, and my phone rings, and it's the delivery guy saying he's been knocking and knocking and no one's answering. I state that the delivery instructions said to call. He says nothing. I go out, get the food, bring it into the apartment... It's cold. The zucchini sticks are soggy and room temperature, as is the pizza. Soggy to the point where throwing it in the oven to heat it up just made it soggier. I can't say whether the food would have been good straight from the kitchen, but I can say that I recommend that you never order delivery from here: I know I won't, ever again.

I like this restaurant! They give splendid dishes, their menu is decent, The cook in that restaurant is a professional, I love very much trying all their food. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I often go to this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.

I ve gone here hundreds of times, and not once have I been let down. The pizza is amazing and the service is also top notch. I recommend chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken pizza if your into specialty pizzas. The chicken panini is amazing if you want a sandwich. And the old world slice is one of a kind if your looking for a slice with basics on it.
The only thing I can complain about is that I cannot fit more food in my stomach because I leave here stuffed and happy every time.

So today we ordered a large order from Ginos for the office and had it delivered. When we unwrapped our order, a soup had come loose and spoiled alot of the food. I called GINO'S and the first apologized for the experience we had and than immediately sent out fresh food. More restaurants should take a notes from Ginos as not only is the food amazing but you cant get better than that kind of service. They know that the value of a happy customer and cater to it. GRAZIE GINO

I think maybe now I ve gone to this restaurant too many times.. the one positive thing I can say is that the food itself is usually good.. the problem with Ginos is service.. poor poor service.. orders are constantly screwed up with delivery.. I ve had too many problems with wrong orders. When I ve called to let them know they ll apologize but don t fix it.. wrong orders, delayed food, incorrect billing, and one time I was even billed for pizza I never received. I think I ll start going to Little Vincent s.

I have been a customer from the time they opened in Nesconset. I have not always been 100% satisfied but they have always made it right and been consistent. The owner Joe is a class act. I am moving to Florida in 4 days and this was my last "New York pizza" stop. I eat from this place once a week generally and last week I had a take out issue that I called them about which was supposed to be logged in as a credit. When I told Joe I was leaving in 4 days, he comped my entire meal! He is a genuine nice guy and I want to also acknowledge James, Destiny and a fella that I dont know his name but has a twin brother that works there. I wish Gino's much success and prosperity in the future, if and when I come back to New York I will definitely be hitting this place up for some ZA'S!

Went on a Saturday night and ordered a Sicilian House Special with anchovies. They said 25 minutes and the pizza was done on time which seemed very quick. The pizza was soooooo burnt it was inedible. They must have known because the whole bottom was completely black and the crust was also black. So they knowing served me an burnt pizza, I will never go to this place again! Also Garlic knots were slightly burnt. This place thinks they can just turn the oven on a higher heat to bake everything faster because they're busy, I bet I wasn't the only one with a burnt pizza tonight.

I went to a friend's son's birthday party and my friend ordered about$100 worth of food. They delivered a grandma pie instead of a sicilian pie. Which I know can be easily mistaken. When my friend called to let them know they delivered the wrong pie they asked to return the grandma pie. Now I know that normally a restaurant never asks for the food back, #1 its courtesy for the fact that they made a mistake. #2 Its not sanitary, then #3 of course, Covid-19 people. When I called to speak to the owner, he was not there. Then asked to speak to manager. He stated they would throw it away but they need to show the person who made what they did wrong, as if it was burnt. Which there was nothing wrong with the pizza, just wasn't what she ordered. So all in all. Just bad business decision on the owner Especially during this time. How much could they had saved? So just think you may want to change your policy Gino's.

Gino's does not understand the concept of gluten-free even though they have a gluten-free menu. I have celiac disease and ordered the gluten free eggplant. They served it on top of regular wheat spaghetti and gave me a regular piece of bread. Not to mention the food took over 35 minutes to be served. The manager did not even do anything about it. Staff is untrained. Never going there again.
