Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park Review

Every year in April when I will have free entry doors, children go facinados

Our 3 year old enjoyed himself. Splashpad was probably his favorite. Glad we packed lunch since most food vendors were closed (on July 3rd) before noon, and the prices were ridiculous. Definitely a good place to visit with small children.

A great place for the young family. A variety of different rides. Fun holiday time.

This place is great. Calming music, not too loud. Decent rides, pretty good food. Will definitely be coming again.

Was awesome. We had a great time doing all the rides and spending time with a bunch of family. All of it was good.

My little girl is 1 year and 5 months and she loved this theme park. The whole theme park is geared for young children.

I appreciate the fact that they play classical music throughout the whole park. It's a nice change from your typical fake theme park music. If you like Debussy, Bach, Chopin, and Beethoven, then you will like this music.

Only con about this park is that the food for sale inside is horrible. The burgers taste like rubber and the macaroni and cheese tastes like plastic. I wish they allowed outside food in the park. I really advise to eat a big breakfast or lunch before going. AVOID THE NASTY FOOD!

Today was awesome! It wasn't packed so the lines for all the rides were short. The water park, well ... that's a different story. My kids played in the outside water play area and had more fun. It's a great place for small kids. And the hours are perfect!

First time here. Went ahead and purchased the year pass. I will be coming back for more family fun. Brought the cousin and nieces & nephews it was fun for kids and adults.

The food is waaaay too expensive. But the rides and shows are perfect for kids and the overall family atmosphere is well maintained. The circus trees are truly attractions by themselves.

Dear LORD. This park is an absolute nightmare if you have kids over the age of 9. Baby rides for little kids. Food costs upwards of 15 dollars for a BURRITO. Will not be coming back.

This is a great place for younger kids. It now has a legitimate water park, for younger kids. The rides are great and it's a great introduction into rides for the little ones. The place is clean and we really like this place!

The kids had a good time for such a little place. WARNING : Expect to pay Disney land prices for things.

Great family atmosphere and lines are rarely long. The season pass is completely worth the cost and pays for itself.

They have expanded their kids water theme area, and now have rental Cabinda's to get out of the sun with.

Beautiful scenery. The park itself is fun, but in a bit of disrepair. It could really use some general maintenance even if it is superficial. Especially if it's more than what meets the eye. We enjoyed the half day we spent here. Probably would have enjoyed it more if the water rides we're open.

Come during the week, is less crowded, good for little kids.

we took our toddler for her 2nd birthday and she loved it. We all had a blast, perfect for 2-3 year olds!!

Excellent for families with young children. The water park is perfect for the kids and relaxing for the adults. Definitely worth getting a Premium or Value membership.

Always family friendly and my family and I always have a good time.

Great place for toddlers and probably older kids too. It's a very nice park with lots of trees and plants and lots of rides with decent lines. Think Disneyland with less of a crowd and headaches. I love the theme being the local scene; artichokes, garlic, etc. Big plus is the small water park that's included in the same admission. Highly recommended.

I really like to know regarding my grandchildren loved it.

This park is very cool for family outings. More for those people who have small children.

Beautiful day ,not too many people, easy access to rides

this place wins a five star but worse are the staffs. They are super duper lazy which makes you to wait in line for a long time. They lock the gates then they check it atleast thrice before any person enters it. I think everyone who works there has OCD.

Not so good, food and parking are super expensive. Not worth it, toddlers to10+ yrs will enjoy it.

Really cute shops and places to eat, pretty environment. If you have younger kids or neices/ nephews, I highly recommend taking them there.

Muy Bonito does not have many games but it has a small pool and kiddie pools and the food is cheap!

Love it here! Great for 2-10 year old but any age will enjoy. So many children rides. The water area is great in the hotter months. Loads of shade all round the park so not to hot even in the middle of summer. Loads of shaded picnic spots. You can get away with taking in a picnic as long as its all packed in your own boxes and bags, don't take unopened boxes or bags of food or snacks. The colder evenings of Halloween and Christmas are great too. This place just has a great atmosphere.

GREAT PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDS BETTER FOR YOUNGER KIDS THEN GOING TO GREAT AMERICA.

Fun place to spend a day with family. It is mainly kids oriented, as it lacks any kind of roller coasters, but it is a blast for the kids!

Very relaxing Park. Great food. Has a bit of a Jurrasic Park vibe.

Lumination is a great display. Gilroy Gardens has always been a beautiful park.

The place is beautiful; kept clean, lots of green areas, lots of shade. Keep in mind that this is geared towards young children. They re well staffed and take safety very seriously.
Ride lines are relatively short; didn t wait in line more than 5 minutes (we came on a Wednesday)
Oh! Buy your tickets online if possible. We payed $35 per ticket compared to almost $60 at the park. Also, consider eating outside the park or packing lunch and snacks, meals run around $15.99 per person.

Gilroy gardens is such a fun place for younger children. It's clean. Staff is friendly. the rides are fun but the water Oasis is even better. Highly recommended for anyone with younger kids

Great for kids who don't like extreme roller coaster rides. We had a blast. For rides was not long at all

This is our favorite family park, by far. It is fun and beautiful. The only downside is that it is a bit far from the Bay Area.
