Good to see park, small rides for toddlers, kids and infants.
The best thing is it is seasonal, so every season has it s special games or activities.

During spring and winter it has good lights decorated across the park. But it is not heavy.

Parking is not free until you take yearly pass, so plan accordingly. It is worth if you go atleast 3 times in a year.

Great fun for a family with young children. Probably tops out around 6-7 years, but our toddler absolutely loved it. Food prices are more extortionate than expected, even for a theme park, so plan to pack a small snack for the kids (but keep in mind they won't allow more than that through the gates). The ferris wheel is pretty sketchy, I'd avoid it; other than that all the rides were lots of fun. Definitely worth a day to visit, and the annual pass is a great deal if you live in the area.

NOT FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES!!!

NOT FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES!!!
We were planning to visit the park tomorrow. We have 5 children and one of them is disabled and uses a wheelchair. She can not sit up on her own or transfer for rides. I checked out the website for accessibility. The website is very misleading. It states that "some" of their rides are wheelchair accessible, but no where on the site does it tell you which rides are accessible. I called the park and explained our situation. The young man I spoke with explained that they do offer passes for her to get to the front of the line and things like that. He said that they evaluate the guest before issuing the passes, so only guests that really require them receive them. That is great!! He said that if we weren't happy with what attractions our daughter could do, we could ask for a full refund. I told him that we have a 3 hour drive to get to the park and wanted to know before, also to avoid extreme disappointment from my younger children. I'm not going to take my children to an amusement park, go in and then say oh we aren't staying. My question was, what can my daughter ride without transferring?? I explained that our daughter has to remain in her wheelchair for rides. He then said that NONE of their rides are wheelchair accessible. I suggested that they update their website to state that none of their rides are wheelchair accessible. I voiced my extreme disappointment and explained that we have taken our children to Disneyland three times and have had wonderful experiences and hoped to have the same a lot closer to home. And they call themselves a FAMILY theme park!! Whatever .

Excellent place to take families with toddlers. Park is geared for 7 and younger. Majority of rides are tiny kiddie rides. Kids older will not have as much fun. Tho, during the summer their water area does cater to all ages. Park food is above average compared to similar venues.

This is a great place to take the young ones! The park is beautifully landscaped and we'll maintained. There are lots of food options though they do tend to be pricey. Ages up to maybe twelve are ideal as the rides cater to younger ages.

They place is nice and a great place for younger kids ( 3 - 10). However, their food is overpriced and horrible and the food attendants are rude. Their food is of Costco frozen food section food with a prime price of $15 - $18 for really crappy food.

Love love love Gilroy gardens I been bringing my kids since they were toddlers and they love it. My older girls ( age 11 and 9) get a little bored of the rides but now with the water park they have fun again my son who is 1 and a half loves it so much shade everywhere and I can easily find a bench and quiet area to sit and nurse my son in private love all the nature aspect of everything

It's a great place to hang out with the family. Little children will love it, but the rides may not be exciting enough for thrill seeking teenagers. The water-play area is perfect for cooling off on hot summer afternoons.

The service has gone down, they prices have gone up. $212 for a family of four, plus $20 for parking. Entry was a nightmare, long lines just too get through a security check at park entry. They actually made TSA look competent. At the cafe, took over 40 minutes to get pizza. Service workers were grumpy and generally unhappy. Overall, very disappointing.

This is a theme park for younger kids. I personally think it was best for my then 4 year old and our 7 year old. The water oasis with the ability for the kids to get m soaking wet and splash in the water was the best part during the summer months. I like th learning exhibits just so that I could teach them some cool stuff while having fun. The monarch butterfly exhibit was smaller than I thought but the garden area with the waterfalls were nice. The food and beverage places, like at all theme parks, was expensive with food and beverage costing about 3x-4x what you would pay at a store. Staff was friendly across the park. I would recommend this to other families for a good day trip as it opens around 11AM and closes ar 5PM. This give enough time drive down and then leave early enough to grab dinner before getting the kids to bed.

Really enjoyed the park. It takes away all the stress from handling the children. The rides are mostly mild, and very enjoyable by small children. The scenaries are breath-taking. Also we love how the staff were dressing. All in Hawaii shirts, the park surrounds you with a vacation feel. Very nice indeed!

Season passes are reasonable - great day trip park. They are constantly changing and upgrading rides and seasonal attractions. One thing I was really bummed to see go was the huge rock maze. IRS being replaced with a playground. The water attractions are a good way to spend a couple hours with the kids, life guards that are around are on it, anything that looks off they look into immediately. With all the random closed parking lots, this place can grow even bigger. A very nice day trip amusement park.

Not overly crowded, reasonably priced for tickets and food, compared to other theme parks. Water park was updated recently, very popular. Lots of shady areas due to all the trees. Rides are great for kids of all ages. Definitely a great place for Bay Area parents to take their kids for a fun day.
