I"m a niche interior painting specialist and I worked directly with Giertsen on a project outside my typical service offering for a former client that requested me and I have a close relationship with. Specifically, I worked directly with Betty for administrative support, Kwynn for project management, and Alan as the lead tradesman on site as well as meeting Tyler and Dave who work with this Giertsen team as well.

I found Giertsen professional, hard working, and most importantly, affectual and engaged in making this project a success so that the Starr family could get moved in before the holidays. It was an emotional experience for the Starr's having sold their other home, and this one being under distress having caught on fire and therefore needing restoration in the first place after an initial upgrade process had already been completed.

The degree of difficulty in this renovation was high as there were special orders, custom finishes, and an accelerated timeline in addition to obstacles that any insurance project encounters. As an outside contractor temporarily joining Giertsen's team I felt welcome, supported, and proud to be a part of bringing a family and their home together with a high standard of excellence.

There were challenges, it wasn't always smooth. Logistics in these projects can be daunting. But those challenges were always met with flexibility and productivity. Overall Giertsen met the Starr's timeline restoring the home to it's former state, even better with the cleaned ductwork and other supplemental work Geirtsen does as part of the entire restoration process for residential properties.

I completed the paintwork on this very same home with these very same homeowners not six months back, and have intimate knowledge of both and this entire experience. That said, I'm confident that Giertsen was the right company for the Starr's fire renovation and happy I got to know the team and serve a small role with them toward bringing such an unfortunate situation to recovery and closure for an awesome family.

We experienced a horrific fire at our warehouse/office last November. Our insurance company contracted with Giertsen for the initial clean up. That process went so well that we requested that they manage the reconstruction of the site. The necessary work included all electrical, roofing, drywall, plumbing and painting. Each project was managed exceptionally well. The communication was timely and their attention to detail was remarkable. The few issues I did experience were responded to immediately. Our primary project manager was David Murphy. I would recommend him for any clean up or construction project.

I have worked with Giertsen Company for more than a decade on numerous projects ranging from $1000 to several million dollars. I have found them to be OUTSTANDING in their service, quality and communication. In fact, they have won awards for providing outstanding service in the Multi Family industry. When I have tragedy strike and need restoration services they are not only the first call I make they are usually the only call needed.

Don't ever use this company if you want you home to be fixed correctly! They will come in and patch it back together and reuse damaged drywall! Had water damage through out my entire kitchen (ceiling to floor and below). They never checked for mold and wanted to use drywall that was water damaged, just repainted. "Drywall is made wet so if gets wet it's better than before." Wrong!!! We told them the furnace was out due to the water damage and the furnace was soaking wet. It took the 3 weeks to even have a HVac guy call us to schedule and appointment. They are a junk company that will cut any corner they can!

Giertsen repaired a water damaged laundry room and ceiling below due to drain/washer issue. They were very responsive and communicative, worked well with our insurance (in fact they were recommended by our adjuster) and did professional repair work on the walls and ceiling. And they were patient and accommodating of our schedules too. We couldn't have asked for more.

Giertsen was fantastic. They were there in the beginning after my fire and Brenda was so nice and and all of the people that worked on the contents restoration were so friendly and understanding during such a difficult time. Giertsen also did my house restoration and rebuild and they were fast, efficient, transparent. All of the workers that worked on my house were amazing and friendly and I just could not have asked for anything more. If I could give them 25 Stars I would.

Completely useless. Avoid at all cost!!! They never completed work, but demanded payments. Sent the wrong assessment to the also terrible American Family Insurance who approved it. Assessor retired mid-project and had not included all items to get repaired. Giertsen refused to update the assessment. This lead to a relatively straight forward repair claim to sty open for 8+ months at this point, uncompleted.

Giertsen came to our rescue after our washing machine overflowed this fall. Our insurance company contacted Giertsen, and the guys came out immediately to begin the mold remediation and restoration process. I was thoroughly impressed throughout the process with their communication and professionalism. Phone calls, emails, and texts were answered right away. Every step of the process was explained well and they made sure we knew what was happening. Our home was in great hands during this stressful time and now it looks better than before.

I was forced to use them and have some problems. I would go into deal but fear i would be taken to court for my words. I would never use them again. They caused me so much pain and sorrow.

In a pinch they really come through clutch - they know how to handle water damage!
