The staff here are INCREDIBLY AMAZING and so sweet. They are here to make sure that you re comfortable, you re not in any discomfort. Been here for a 5 day stay due to colon cancer surgery. This is the BEST hospital I ve been at in years. Colton is just: PERFECT, Mackenzie is just a real sweetheart. Brenna and Melissa made me feel at ease, they re all so easy to talk to. They really have made my stay an extremely pleasant experience. I d give them ALL 10 stars if I could!!

To all the staff in Gibson City Hospital ER Yesterday I arrived in the ER feeling so sick the receptionist was so nice and I didn t even have to wait! They immediately got me in a room and the two nurses that took my vitals were so sweet and fast at taking caring of me...She said I bet your cold let me get you a warm blanket and I instantly feel asleep and they let me rest and the Dr was in shortly and he was amazing..They already called this morning to see how I was feeling..They treated me like family and I will always be grateful
If I could give it a negative 10 I would. Completely incompetent nurses and staff, I went in for a Covid testing and was told to go to the emergency hall. I was told to wait there and they specific said that this will not be treated as an emergency room situation just. I wait for 30 minutes finally a nurse arrives and does the testing. She asked me if I had any questions about anything and I start by asking her about what are the most likely symptoms of Covid that can cause me serious health problems. She than tells me that she's not a registered nurse just a volunteer to help out in the shortages of nurses. I than asked her was the nurse that I talked to also a volunteer and she said most likely yes, most of the nurses have are either on break or left. I was just baffled by how unprofessional this Hospital is. Flash forward a few months later and am getting a bill from they with an absurd fee and the main reason was because they took me through the emergency room the fee being almost $1800, which I will not pay as I was not informed of the situation that was happening and more or less blindly lead into this predicament. This is not even the best part about this whole story after the testing I was told that I would get the results within 3-5 days, almost a week and a half later I was forced to call them as they failed to contact me back about the results. They said it came out Negative, I said great nothing to worry about than. LITERALLY!!! The next day first thing in the morning I noticed that I lost my sense of taste, I was furious I was just told that I was negative and the symptoms normally appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. so I basically got it the same week I went to that Hospital and was told that I was alright by their results in the test lab. I am never going back to that hospital again and hope that if any else is reading this stay away from there it is the most incompetent Hospital I have ever been in, I've seen Vets be far more competent than that Hospital, a VET that should just go to show you how bad this Hospital is.
Best hospital we have ever been,to and the staff is really great and very caring and passionate. Never been to an nicer place. Thanks to all the staff that took care of my step daughter
Very nice hospital. Most of the staff was great! The staff in surgery were very nice. I was in room 311. My special nurses Austin on 2nd and Angelaina (sorry if I misspelled your name) on ist shift. Thank you both for giving such good care. Thank everyone else too!! The hospital was great even though most of the town was flooded everything was wonderful.
Had diagnostic CT. Registration was quick, got in for scan fast and was done in minutes. The staff explained everything, told me what to expect and answered all of my questions. The CT room looked like NASA, with equipment at least on par and probably better than other major hospitals in the area. They were fast, efficient and professional.
Got my first covid vax today here. I fogot to eat before coming and managed to pass out in the fifteen minute waiting period after the shot. The nurses were very sympathic and helpful. I cannot thank them enough.
I can not say enough amazing things about the dental clinic at The Gibson Area Hospital. They have the most incredible bed side manner and just do an awesome job of making you feel comfortable in not so comfortable situations. I have recommended a couple of people and they all have also had wonderful experiences. Thank you Dr. Ali and your incredible team!
Dr Jason Ye was referred to me after my sister fell and broke her hip. My sister is in a nursing home due to severe dementia. Dr Ye was extremely helpful in explaining procedures to me, and in answering all my questions. His bedside manner with my sister was amazing, he always treated her with the utmost respect and kindness. He was also very understanding of my frustrations at dealing with the nursing home during the difficulties of Covid. Dr Ye is knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and deserves the highest possible recommendations.
