Gibney's Bar Review

Possibly the best pub in Dublin area, with garden a roof terrace and plenty of rooms . Live music nearly every day, good pub food, dozens of screens to watch sport.

Gibneys is a really busy atmospheric spot in the centre of Malahide. Popular for matches a mixed crowd and a nice place to share a bottle of wine.

Good food and good beer, approx.15-20 euros per person, typical pub to eat and discover these places in Ireland.

Had the pleasure of being in Malahide for a couple of nights. Went to Gibneys and wasnt disappointed. The craic was great. Many bar tenders on and wasnt kept waiting. Had the food and it was perfect bar food. To top it off when we ordered a drink the bar tender told us as it was mr Gibneys's birthday, he was 70, the drink was on him. Thank you Mr Gibney. We went back the following night. Again great craic

My first Authentic Irish pub experience with great company! The decor and atmosphere was exactly how I imagined! I had my Guinness pure then tried it with syrup... I liked both!!

Its a real cute little Irish pub, the service is good, and the food is restaurant quality!

It was ok. Attending Mumford and sons more security around the toilets. The behaviour of the clients was not great.

So relaxing and lovely Guinness and Malbec it was very busy food wise and tables were cleared quickly but not wiped down so quite sticky surroundings!

Had a great day watching rugby international. Plenty of television's. People were really friendly and the food was good. Good variety of food and drink.

Great pub ..have enjoyed every night iv been there , great staff .

The restaurant consists of several rooms, suitable for different customers, such as drinks only, catering service, sporting events or live music. The food, however, is not that great, for example the soup of the day was a freeze-dried bag ..... The prices are low. The staff does not shine out of sympathy.

The most iconic pub in Malahide and far beyond. Countless beers and bar food make every guest happy. In the back you can watch live sports on many screens. On certain days there are also live performances on the small stage. Absolutely recommended!

Crowded pub, friendly service, decent pub grub, good beer selection including independent Irish craft beers. Their own off-licence adjacent.

A favourite for locals and visitors alike. Set in the center of everything a must visit when in Malahide. Due to it's popularity can get extremely busy at times.

Called in about 6 on a Friday evening. Front of bar very busy but got seat towards the back . Food keenly priced, service average but overall food quality not great. No entertainment either. Maybe we caught it on a bad night ...but really not impressed. Sorry

A traditional Irish pub. Went here for lunch,.had soup and sandwich, very good portions and very good quality. Staff again very friendly. Good value for your money, soup and sandwich 5.50 Euro.

Service was terrible took us 40 mins to even get are food and drinks ordered, the staff didn't seem to get are drinks until we had to ask 3 times for are order and one of my drinks came out with lipstick on the glass obviously not cleaned properly.

We were on the first day of our holiday Ireland and the last here. I really like the pub; delicious beer, friendly, attentive service. Upstairs you can sit outside and on cold days big hot steel It was funny, we had talked to the boss - he married a woman from Bremen. Such a pub I would like to have in Bremen and the delicious beer of course

Super place, an all time favourite bar, ticks all the boxes for ambiance, drinks and food! Great place to meet friends!

Good atmosphere, always busy but service is quick and professional. Prices are on the high side.

Not great, over priced, bad Guinness and hasn't had a lick of paint in god knows how long, will NOT be returning.

Near malahide marina....great food and atmosphere.

I was here for New Year s Eve and I loved how the bar had separate sections and music for all age types. Young, older and not so old all in the same place but enjoying their own vibe. It felt like a real neighbourhood pub. Loved it.

Nice big old style pub with plenty of seating with a big smoking area and huge projector.

Cold beer and several choices - amazing history , several bars with charactet. Fantastic sports bars

Nice pub, drink is a bit pricey for my liking at 6 euro a pint.

Nothing much to say that has not been said about Gibney's Iconic place just a great place to visit anytime in Malahide.
