This restaurant has a very mature and relaxed atmosphere and the drinks are phenomenal. A great place to unwind after work.

The food was wonderful.

The worst!! I just brought food there and dropped some money and came in and asked did they see the money one lady said no and as I walked away.. the other said under her breath that she thought some one did find it!! What the hell!!

This place was full of people as I ordered my pizza which was amazing. The thickness of the cheese and crust were how I like it! Service was good as well as my order being accurate.

By far the absolute WORST pizza I've EVER had in my entire life! My husband & I both took about 3 bites & threw the whole pizza in the trash. I was angry I spent ANY money on it. It's completely disgusting. Nasty

Crab and corn chowder was delicious . Suggest you sit as far from the entrance as you can when it's cold.

We have been to Gianna's several times and decided to stop in last Friday evening. It was busy, which was expected and we finally got a table. I was a little concerned after waiting some time before the wait staff acknowledged us. The food has always been great and so has the service. At this time managment saw what was happening and it was corrected immediately. The experience after this hiccup was on point as we are accustomed to. As a business owner myself, we're always concerned about client expectations. You always want the experience to be positive. It's proven those experiences create repeat clients and referrals. The management team and their staff went above and beyond to ensure our expectations and experience was met. I know that most won't find this review useful...its more for the staff and managment. Keep doing great things, my visit last Friday showed how your establishment is working on company culture. It's those things that set you apart from your competition.

No website, no way to see menu online only pictures people post which are generally not legible. What resteraunt which can only serve takeout doesn't post a menu?

italian food and the setting at this place is excellent. This location is absolutely outstanding. The service was very helpful and observant. The bill was fair.

I decided to eat at this particular restaurant for the second time on yesterday and I was nothing but disappointed.The ground beef did not seem like authentic groundbeef.There was alot of griscell and my sister had little to no meat in her lasagna.The garlic knots were delicious and the marinara sauce were they only two things I can truly say I enjoyed.I am not quite sure if I would ever return back to Gianna's.

2 pizza slices were cold and burnt had to send them back if waitress had been paying attention to my order i could have had lunch today but instead i was able to pay for my almost 3 dollar soda and return to work hungry thanks for the poor service

First impressions: Who double parked their escalade outside in the front two parking spots?

Couple that came in after us got seated first because they couldn't be asked to wipe a booth down right quick

Appetizers: Lol this out-of-the-box fried ravioli is like $9.99? ? ? ? ? I expected something a little less empty for that price. We also got 11 sad little raviolis? There are two of us.

Salad: We paid $9.99 for this dinky salad that was barely enough for two people. Very limp.

Main dish: Chicken Parm to think I could have saved $20.99 this thing was a meteorite.

$50 for lunch I wish I never spent! Thanks Gianna!

New York style pizza was OK but a little bland. Fried cheese ravioli appetizer was very good and the tiramisu was incredible!

It Was the best cheese steak in the area, how ever the last two Times I ordered the cheese steak to go, it wasn't wrapped in foil, now its wrapped like a "fast food sub",,,,and the cake all though very good the portion are much smaller, same price $$$$. ill give them one more try. hope they get back to their high..... standards dine in or carry out.

I liked my tuna ceasar salad. I would say that the menu is too extensive. You can not be good at everything.

When the food is good it is great. Consistency is just not there. Custer service is mediocre.

We ve visited this restaurant a few times out of convenience if for no other reason. Their salads consist of only iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato and an onion slice and nothing more, very bland. All their dishes taste alike, tomato sauce, lots of garlic and lots of salt. Way overpriced for what you get. The owner always seems mad at the world.

Really awesome food, mediocre service. Waitress forgot our appetizer and was pretty slow with simple stuff, just seemed like the wait staff had trouble with dinner rush. Pizza was especially good, highly recommend for take out.

I was very disappointed with the wait for my take-out order this evening. The pizza was ready in the 20 minutes we were told to expect, but the rest of our order was not ready for another 20 minutes. The food is generally good here, but I will hesitate to return because of tonight's experience.

Very good service. I've eaten here a few times, but not sure I'll go back again. For the money, I expect to be wowed and it's never happened. There's always a dissapointment in something at every visit.

Food was great but they could ve kept the attitude. When my party arrived we had 10 people present. We told the hostess who acted new, appeared to be very young, and cared less, that we needed a table for 14 people. After standing there looking into the distance she asked again how many people we had. The other 4 ppl were right behind us in another car and on the way. Once we were taken to our seat, there were two 6 seater separate tables and a booth offered to us. We re a family, so that means we would like to sit together. The tables weren t pushed together and when we asked if this was our table the young hostess said yes this is where you ll be sitting and you can push the tables together to make all the seats you need. I asked are we supposed to push the tables together? She blankly stared at us and just stood there. Like, why weren t the tables already set up before we walked over? Were paying customers supposed to do this? A nice busgirl that seemed more experienced apologized and proceeded to put all three tables together with the help of one other younger boy.
Once seated we were all accommodated on separate checks. Which on one half of the table worked wonderfully and on the other half didn t work at all. All in all the food was amazing, no doubt about that. I ordered a glass of wine suggested by the waitress which was wonderful. So half of our party had issues with tickets and the other half did not. Once the bills were not done correctly twice, the waitress showed her frustration by asking
If she could just get the card so she wouldn t have to walk back and forth. I wanted cheesecake and so did another person in our party, but did not get it. After going to the hostess counter to ask the SAME LITTLE GIRL for cheesecake that stared into the distance when we arrived; she did this once again. So I left and so did the rest of my family. It was quite weird how myself and my family were treated.
We won t ever come back. Regardless of the food being amazing.

Recommended by a friend, very good pizza,a large variety of Italian food selection at a slightly expensive price. Desserts are delicious! I had chocolate cake, but there's carrot cake,lemon raspberry cheese cake, cannoli, too. Will return soon. Customer service is excellent.

Beware, long wait before orders taken then charge 20% tip for starving to wait for poor service. Overpriced. Food is not good. Will never come back. Better off at Sals pizza, taste better.

I haven't had vodka sauce and noodles in a few years!! They've officially won me over as a great restaurant. I recommend their entire menu. Be mindful of portion sizes, and eat slowly. Their meals are hearty!

First time dining there and was first greeted with a smiling and welcoming hostess. Our waitress Kayla was amazing in explaining the menu and the background of the restaurant. One of the very few times we have had a wait staff member be that knowledgeable of the menu and explained it to the tee with her own recommendations and different ways to make dishes lighter or heavier and to taste different ways. The entire staff is the way a restaurant should be run. An absolute amazing dining experience and will definitely be going back.

Everything we have ordered has always been delicious. The kids love the pizza and fettuccine alfredo. Fried cheese and buffalo shrimp are favorite appetizers. The lasagna, filet, shrimp, pizza, sandwiches..all of it is delicious! Save room for dessert..it does not disappoint!

I've always had a great experience dining in or picking up. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered from salad, garlic knots, fish, pasta, lasgna, raviolli, calamari, and pizza. There fried raviolli appetizer is awesome! Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. Placing a pickup order is as simple as calling it in and my orders are usually ready in 20 minutes or less. Meals are packaged well for pickup so that they aren't a mess when you get home.

Food was great, service needs to step it up. My order was put in wrong and had to wait for them to remake it, the server was nowhere to be found. Tool 30 min just get a check, then only brought 1 small box for 2 people.

Food was awesome, and plentiful. The half eating zeti was a lunch special and I could not finish it. We were happily surprised when we received our food. Didn't take a picture of the pizza we hand, but it was nice, foldable and fresh.

We also had dessert, and it was absolutely amazing, it was like a meal in itself. It was one of the first chocolate cakes where the cake was more important than the frosting!!

What Happened? This place used to have the best pizza around. The last three times the pizza is coming out half cooked. I ask for it to be cooked extra, and no difference. I may try one more time, but I may need to find a better pizza place. I hope they read these posts. Edit Apr 12 - Perfect again. This is better than any other pizza around. Reminds me of the pie I would get in NY.

I NEVER write reviews. In fact this is probably the first one I've ever written but I felt compelled to share my opinion based on my experience. I've been here a couple times with a couple years in between visits. Both times there were issues with the food being cold or poorly prepared. I found a piece of sizeable piece cardboard in my salad the last time I was there and the food preparation was sub par. I really don't understand why people like the place so much. The service is just ok. It's definitely overpriced for what you get in return. I would have given a zero star rating but it wouldn't let me.

The pizza was excellent just the right amount of crust to toppings! Yummy!

The marinara sauce tasted like it came from a can. No flavor at all. On the plus side there is a gluten free pasta option.

We ve been living in the Suffolk area on and off for quite a few years and never visited this place until this week. A friend of ours gave us a gift certificate, so we gave it a try. We placed a take out order and absolutely loved everything. I had the crab and shrimp pasta with champagne sauce. It had plenty of crab meat. The shrimp were huge! I ate a good portion, and had plenty for leftovers. It was phenomenal!! My husband had the veal Parmesan and love it! My kids had a cheese pizza and loved it! We will definitely be back very soon!!

The fresh fried mozzarella and eggplant parmigiano are very good!

This is my second visit here and the food is just amazing. You have to try the carrot cake, it is one of the best I have had in a long time, next to being homemade.

This place is absolutely amazing! By far the best Italian I've had in Hampton Roads. The chef running the kitchen does not play! I ordered the Seafood Cognac and words cant describe how tasty it was. In spite of how busy the place was on a Friday night, we were seated immediately and within 10 minutes of ordering, our food was served. You will not be disappointed if you decide to visit!

Took my family in for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The food was amazing. By far the best brick oven pizza in the area. Our server Dionni was amazing, she answered any questions we had about the menu and sizes of the dishes. She checked on my family throughout the meal and made sure everything was taken care of. I will be dining here again.

Authentic Italian stuff. A good place for family or groups. There serve pizza and other Italian dishes. I love their fresh salads, they are simply yummy. Their dessert are exceptional and quite big compared to other restaurants but I never complained every time I visits this restaurant. It's a little pricey, so ordering a large pizza is a good idea. Waitresses are awesome. Highly recommended.
