I just recently leased my second vehicle from the Naples BMW store. I had an excellent experience leasing my X5 three years ago which had a lot to do with why I returned to lease my now brand new Z4 convertible. John Joseph assisted me from start to finish and made the experience seamless. He expedited things and was a pleasure to work with. I am very pleased and give high marks to John and BMW!

I purchased a 5 series from Peter Martin yesterday. He helped me find the right car for my family and made a normally painful experience comfortable and easy. If you want a no pressure salesman you should look this guy up. The paperwork on the other hand was not as easy. I had an appointment and still had to wait an hour just to see her. I don't know if this is a Florida thing but what was the point of making an appointment for the next day and then still have me wait around for an hour? Still rating 5 stars based on the sales side but make sure you make plenty of time for paperwork.

I was recently browsing BMW's as a replacement for my truck. I'm a long time BMW owner and have been very happy with the cars in the past. I visited Germain BMW of Naples Florida and was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable salesperson, Alex Soare. I explained my current status and told him what I was looking for. He showed me around and then suggested a car that might fit my needs. As it turned out it was a great deal on a wonderful car and checked all the boxes. A short time later I was driving it home. The entire process was quick and easy and Alex orchestrated the deal from the beginning to end. I'm delighted with the dealership and the process I highly recommend Germain and Alex. Went to Germain last weekend to purchase a low mileage used car. I must say it was probably the most satisfying car buying experience I have ever had. I had the pleasure of working with Bob Davidson. He was very pleasant and fast. I was out the door and driving my Beamer in less than two hours after the test drive. Most dealerships hold you there for hours trying to sell you extras. There was no pressures or added on surprises. As a matter of fact he asked me what I didn't like about the car and had it repaired quickly. Would highly recommend Bob and Germain BMW!!

I had a great experience with Germain BMW, from the first time we walked through the door, to the leasing process, and the service team too!
Larry, Sam, and Neal, they all made a great team, and make sure we didn't spend any more time than we had to.
They didn't push for any extras, and worked very hard to adjust to my budget.
I would highly recommend anyone in the market for a new car, I was pleasantly surprised, it was so good, I didn't need to look anywhere else.
We love our new car and I am already thinking about getting a second one, I am sticking with Germain from now on!

Complaint Description:
Denied a repair I paid for also Sales manager BILL EMERSON should be trained on how to speak to customers in front of their children. First my front right rotor was replaced 3 time by bmw of Sarasota. There was a vibration that kept coming back. So after three repairs there I decided to go to BMW Naples to have it fixed since it was repaired three time with no success. So went to BMW of Naples and at that time they replaced the rotor again and explained how it was all BMW of Sarasota's fault. They had made faulty repairs and BMW of Naples Stand behind their work. Overall it was a pleasant experience with Ron Arnold Service manager. Of course after 1 month it started again and Ron Arnold told me to bring it back in two weeks after he returns from vacation so he could be there. Unfortunately I got a flat tire in the meantime so I called for a service appointment. That's when I happened to get Bill Emerson on the phone, what a bad day he was having. First I asked if he could give me any information on buying a new tire and getting a alignment. He told me to go where ever I want since I was not close by Naples. So I then asked if I could get it towed there since I have a appointment in a few days. This is when it started, he said don't bring it here we are not touching your car. I said ok?, He then went on to tell me very loudly and rudely how ignorant I was and my right front rotor goes bad every 1000 miles because of the way I drive my car. So I calmly asked if they had any equipment they could plug into my car to see acceleration and deceleration. He responded yes, so I said I will come there and you can see how I drive. If you can show me I drive anything but conservative don't make the repair, I take care of my property and im not 18 years old. This enraged him and he went off on a rant about me being a horrible driver and they are not standing behind anything on the car because the way I drive. Then he hung up on me and I had to turn around and explain to my kids why a BWM employee was yelling at me over Bluetooth. Then on the day of my original appointment I find out after half way there ( 3 HOUR RIDE ), I call Ron who informs me BILL EMERSON has canceled my appointment and told service staff not to speak to me. I have never in my life dealt with such immature practices.

Your Desired Resolution:
All i want is the repair to be made right. I paid for it and was patient while it was repaired. Now after 1000 miles I have a car im embarrassed to take clients in again. I have even been willing to trade the car in if it cannot be fixed, but now BMW has cost me sever thousand fixing the same issue multiple times. BILL Emerson needs some training I own several business and would be livid if my employees treated customers in this fashion

After unexpectedly having to bring BMW into service, my advisor George Donovan handled my situation with courtesy, professionally and with promptness.He was able to provide me a loaner car so my day would not be interrupted even though it was an unexpected and had my car back to me within 48 hours. Hats off to George and the entire team at Germain BMW.

I have bought BMWs from other BMW dealerships and had them serviced at other BMW dealerships and let me tell you Germain BMW is the best at both! I brought my BMW in for service to Germain BMW. My service advisor was Jermey Bongle he took fantastic care of me and my vehicle. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to order my parts and have my car repaired on the same day which was incredible!

I'm a long time BMW owner and current customer of Germain BMW. In April 2019 I visited Germain BMW to trade-in my 2013 x5 and to purchase a new x5. We agreed on price of a new x5 but could not agree on trade-in value of 2013 x5. I went to CarMax who offered me $3,000 more than Germans final offer on trade-in. I sold the car to CarMax and went back to Germain to finalize deal on new x5. That car was no longer available but they did find another vehicle that I agreed to purchase.

A couple days later I went to pickup the new x5 but it was a different vehicle than the one I had agreed to. The salesman (Josh) tried telling me it was the vehicle we had agreed to. When I produced paperwork showing that was not correct he passed blame and said it was not his fault. Whether intentional or not if felt like classic bait and switch. The paperwork was all wrong showing the higher price of the correct vehicle.
I asked to speak to the General Manager (Flavio Galasso) but was told he was not available. I told the Sales Manager (Jim) that I was not taking delivery of wrong vehicle.

Almost as bad as the comedy of errors above is that Germain did nothing to find the correct vehicle and the salesman told me they would not adjust the price of the wrong vehicle. The next day I bought a new Land Rover at Land Rover Naples.

Picked up a beautiful 2015 Escape Titanium found on Autotrader.com at Germain BMW of Naples. My sales rep, David Brown, was fantastic throughout helping me with the remote purchase and shipment to Idaho. My review would have been five stars, but the doc package arrived late with a title for another vehicle! David helped me get this straightened out as quickly as possible. We're very happy with the vehicle.

I have been to the Pembroke Pines and Coconut Creeks for service, and Germain is the best by far: greeting, customer service, follow up, you name it. To make it an even better experience I had a great service rep, Christian Hoza. Note I live in Broward County, but I will drive to Naples for the customer service alone!

3/19/2018: 3/19/2018: I'm updating my review to reflect my experience with the service department at Germain BMW.

This is the second time I have brought my car in for service to Germain BMW. Although I won't delve into great detail, suffice it to say both experiences fell far below my expectations. The most recent experience was the final straw for me: my car was returned to me with the contents of my glove box (as well as a few items belonging to the service department staff that should have been properly discarded before returning my car to me) scattered on the passenger seat and only when I tried to place the items back in to the glove box did I notice that a corner panel was missing and therefore exposing several wires and a gaping hole through which anything in my glove box could fall. When I phoned my service advisor about this issue, he told me to just bring the car in and he would look into it. Like many others who work, I have a demanding schedule that doesn't just allow me to come in on random weekdays and yet he told me that because he wasn't working on Saturday (still an inconvenient hassle but at least I wouldn't need to be at my office) I would need to bring my car in before that. I suggested he check with the service techs to determine if they actually had the missing panel prior to me taking time out of my busy schedule to drive to the dealership. He sounded reluctant but said he would check. I never heard back. Furthermore, my car was washed and vacuumed and yet I could see watermarks from the spray and/or wet cloth that was used to wipe down the hard surfaces of my interior. At this point I honestly can say this has been my first and final purchase from Germain. With my previous two BMWs purchased from Fields in Winter Park, FL, I guess I had high expectations. Anyone can sell a car and some make the experience great. However, how a customer is treated after the sale - when service is required - truly makes a lasting impression and can influence whether or not someone decides to be a repeat customer. Next time I'll make the trip north and give business to a dealership that actually appreciates it and is willing to take the few extra minutes to ensure my car is returned to me with all parts in place.

Original Review (Spring 2017):

Thus far my experience with Germain BMW of Naples has been a very positive one. I had previously owned two other BMWs (purchased in Orlando and Winter Park) and loved both cars. When I relocated to Naples last year, I began looking for another car, thinking perhaps I might want to try an Audi or Mercedes Benz this time around. Hands down, the customer service coupled with the fact BMW seems to always make the entire transaction as efficient as possible (no need to be at the dealership for literally hours on end) convinced me that another 5-Series was the way to go.

My salesperson, Peter Martin, was fantastic. And, when Peter was helping other customers, his colleague, Daron, stepped up to the plate. I had been car shopping for over two months, somewhat hesitant to make a deal with other dealerships due to what clearly was a lack of integrity during the financing process. Heather Smith, the Finance Manager, was not only professional but also friendly and willing to go that extra mile. An all-around great experience that will ensure customer loyalty.

The only uncompleted element of this transaction is I'm still waiting on my cash-back check for my trade. Hopefully they will not disappoint but for now I'm confident they'll successfully and effectively complete this process as well.

I have purchased a number of vehicles at Germain BMW of Naples over the years, and have always been treated well and received excellent service after the sales. I worked for many years with Jim McGinn, but when he left a while back, I met Max Zuercher. Max most recently helped me to purchase a 330i that I had been leasing. Everything was very straightforward, and given the current need for caution in social interactions, I was very pleased that Max arranged for all the paperwork to be handled online, and delivered it to me in person at my home. If BMW still imported manual transmission vehicles, I would surely visit Max to purchase my next BMW.

My service is always great, I have a great relationship with all the advisors, i just wish that car wash crew would step up their game. I understand that it is free after service but that shouldn t mean the quality of the wash should be bad. The most i can say they do to the car is rinse the outside, clean your rims & vacuum the carpets, (not underneath the carpets) if that is all that s included than that should be known to the customers. This is why i would also not pay for a car wash because I feel like they are not going to spend the time & do it correctly. They don t even clean the bird poop or bugs off my front bumper and hood. Quite dissatisfied. Bmw & their employer s are great, just wish the car wash was better!

It is a wonderful experience to visit Germain BMW of Naples. The facility is clean, comfortable, and inviting. The waiting room is top-notch with a great TV and relaxing chairs. The staff are exceptionally professional and always focused on the customer.
Our Sales Representative, Max Zuercher, is always responsive to our needs. He knows the BMW products and has always guided us toward the right decision. We highly recommend that you ask for Max should you be interested in owning a BMW.

Starting my second term lease at Germain and the process, and well as the staff, are outstanding. My current sales representative is tops. Alex Pope took my account over from previous rep. and has worked with me to special order the 440i convertible with the options that I wanted. Took an active hand in changing over personal items from the first to the second lease. Handled the paperwork and even phoned the insurance carrier notifying them of the change in automobiles. Where else do you get personal service like that.

He is very straightforward in telling us what work is required, what should be monitored and/or addressed near-term and what is totally optional. Extremely pleased with the service experience I received at Germain BMW, stopped in to see about scheduling a service appointment after driving to Naples from New Jersey, was greeted by the receptionist who immediately introduced me to the service advisor Adam Phanthanivong, he scheduled me for the next morning and addressed my tires and alignment issues, made the necessary repairs, kept me advised of the work being performed, advised me of a couple of maintenance items that were due, completed the work and returned my vehicle the same day. They also provided a shuttle service which made dropping off and picking up my vehicle very convenient.
Overall very much satisfied with Germain BMW s customer service!

Quality cars, poor sales department. My lease is ending in half a year and received a call from a sales man to come into the store, to talk about a possibly new vehicle. I said sure and took my time to go there: just to be made felt very bad about my lease & vehicle.

Before looking for a new vehicle, they did an inspection check to value my car. The result: Mint condition. Duh, I take care of my car and my next scheduled maintenance (oil change, very typical) is due in 2000 miles. Now they quoted me on a new vehicle (Even though I was told they had a loaner), same body type, just new year with a leasing amount twice as much what I am paying now. In what world would a customer be happy to see those numbers?

As soon the sales man didn't see me satisfied, he came back with his sales manager. And that's where the disgusting part starts. He was told that I came into the store, because I already have more miles on my car than I'm supposed to have. Sure that happens, what does BMW Financial Services say? We understand that customers love their car and may drive more than usual and are able to buy additional miles. But no, he insisted on that's a very bad situation you are in and will get only worse. You know what, let that be my problem. Then he said, oh.. you have a maintenance upcoming too, so what? This car is in mint condition because I did all my maintenances and take a lot of care of it. And after I asked why the new leasing quote is so high, he said we have to roll so many months into the new lease.

Let me remind you, I didn't call BMW. I don't have issues with my current car or leasing rate. They called me, but then they turn the tables onto you as if you are the problem and came in begging for a solution. This is not how you treat a current client with BMW and guess what, this will be my first and last BMW I ever bought with Germain BMW of Naples. My 6th BMW Lease was the best yet

I went in to close one lease and initiate another and met Raquel Stolba. I had stringent parameters as to what was mandatory in the vehicle and what I needed in the financing...

With the huge inventory she found several qualified vehicles. All my parameters were met and some proved even better for my situation than I had hoped for. I credit this to the teamwork of Raquel with all the Germain departments involved, the business and financial teams conferred with her several times crafting my new lease and concluding the old one. Everyone pitched in and made the process comfortable and worry free.

As the title implies, this is the best BMW deal so far and is why I have and do recommend Germain and BMW to all my friends and associates. It is thanks to Raquel her teamwork and competence this time.

The owner Flavio Galasso is the man who built the team and my congratulations go to him.

Ron Arnold has been my Service Advisor for the past ten+ years. He has always gone out of his way to accomodate me. When there were problems with my previous vehicle, he did everything he could to get it tested and repaired, never leaving me 'stranded'. I am sure, I can always rely on Ron Arnold's expertise and help should any issues with my current vehicle occur.
I think a dealership's reputation is dependant on highly knowledgeable Service Representatives like Ron, who has established trust between the customer and the dealership.

My husband and I were leisurely shopping the Saturday after the fourth of July. We happened to stop in to look at Germain BMW of Naples. We were greeted by Ahmad Suid. Ahmad knew upfront that we were just browsing and trying to gain knowledge on the BMWs that Germain had available, but he still willingly and patiently answered our questions. I happened to notice the new BMW M4 in the showroom. We asked to take it for a test drive and Ahmad said yes. Well, that did it, we no longer were just casually shopping. Ahmad walked us through all our options and we also learned a little about him. He is quite a character and we enjoyed the time we spent with him. We ended up driving the M4 home that day, Ahmad in tow. He came to our house and he set up the M4 to connect with our garage door opener. He also spent time getting our other BMW to work with the opener. A very nice gentleman. I would definitely work with him when I purchase again.

To Germain:
There s a reason why my car was only there for service once. As far as the call went, my questions were answered but when asked to explain, I was deferred to your Book. You cannot give an exorbitant quote without an accompanying explanation of what is involved with the job and expect your customer to just accept that if that s what the book says, it has to be right. That would probably work for other customers who don t want to deal with specifics, but it won t work for all. I won t be back but I would highly recommend your future customers to make sure they understand what they are paying and not accept the Book answer blindly. And I hope Germain BMW s management will focus more on customer service specially when communicating via the telephone. It s not all about money but building relationships with your customers.

They tried to rip me off when I inquired how much it would cost to replace an E46 SMG pump and accumulator. Forget about asking their service advisors anything service related. They don t know anything. All they can tell me is that it s what the book says. They all act like they know what their doing but they can t answer simple questions. If you don t know anything about cars, they can look professional. What a joke. Ask them how much it costs to replace belts and pulleys. Then ask them how long it would take to replace them to justify the cost for giggles. You d be amused.

This is my second European Delivery through Germain BMW of Naples. I chose repeat this purchase with Germain because of my previous experience both on the purchase side but also for the fine, attentive service I received at this dealership. Another and even more influencing factor was my sales associate, Jim McGinn. He had stepped in when my salesman left Germain before all the paper work was completed for my first European Delivery. Despite the fact that this was a "pick-up" sale, he acted as though it was a "primary" sale. He was extremely helpful in completing the paper work and more than willing to answer all my questions regarding the delivery. Thus, there was only one dealership and, specifically, one sales associate I wanted on my side-Jim McGinn and I have not bee disappointed.

Alex Pope was our BMW Rep, and he was a perfect fit with both of us! Knowledgeable!!! professional, personable, courteous, attentive and all-around exceptional. (Management PLEASE TAKE NOTE). And OOOH, The Geniuses!!! what a bonus, a can't miss, a can't do without, and can't find a question they can't answer!!! Exceptional! Thank you to our two Geniuses, I know I\we will be back. FYI, this is our 7th BMW, five of which have been purchased here. We are obviously pleased with the dealership and especially with the sales and service personnel. The Service Manager, Bill Emerson, is exceptional (again Management PLEASE TAKE NOTE) and runs a service organization of exceptional quality!

I brought both of my BMWs to Germain BMW within the last few days. Rhoel Gray was the first advisor & Christian Hoza was the second one. Both of them were outstanding. They were both very professional, thorough & efficient. I would highly recommend them both as well as the dealership.

My routine service was very quick and efficient. Advisor, Adrian Pena, took care to advise me what work was being accomplished and what the wait time would be. Fortunately, Adrian also made me aware of a minor oil leak and quoted the cost for having this done on my next visit in writing. Great job, very nice demeanor, an excellent experience for my X3 service.

If you are like most people and dislike most everything about car shopping, do yourself a favor and check out Germain for your next BMW. They are a first class dealership that has really won me over. I live in Miami where there are no less than a 1,000 new BMWs in inventory at the mega dealers. After a couple of visits to some of the "Miami Dealers" with no success and frustration, I took a recommendation from a friend and went to Germain BMW.

The staff is exceptional and very professional across the board. Since early 2013, I have purchased two vehicles from Germain BMW and utilized their service department several times. One vehicle was a purchase from their lot and the other was a custom order. Both experiences were fantastic... I worked with Rick Camp on both sales and he was great to work with. Clear communication, no hassles, no trickery and I left feeling like I got a fair deal all combined with great service. They are always prepared when I would visit in person, responsive by email/phone, never pushy or rushed and all have a pleasant demeanor.

I will never purchase a BMW from anywhere else... If you value how you are treated and appreciate quality service, look no further than Germain BMW. Drive on!

My wife and I came in last week to look at a certified 2011 128i convertible. We had an appointment and were graciously met by Kevin Browne. He took us for a test ride and answered all of our questions. We did end up buying and I can say it was a very wonderful experience! Kevin was not pushy at all and was an absolute gentleman the entire time. The financing was also easy and we drove the car home that very day. Kevin was nice enough to call us a few days later to make sure we were happy. All of the folks we met at Germain were fantastic and we are very happy with our new BMW !!

Chuck Griffith is simply the best! He is efficient, professional, beyond helpful, knowledgeable and just an all around nice guy. Every time I've had my car in the shop for maintenance, I've been impressed by him, and the entire team at Germaine, BMW. When it comes time to purchase a new car, he will be a big part of my decision. Looks like I'll be driving BMWs for a long while to come! Thanks, Chuck!

Rhoel Gray in the service department is the guy to see at Germain BMW. There are definitely notable mentions on the team, but I wanted to reserve this review for him out of respect for the history.

I ve newly acquired a BMW, so my journey with him is just beginning. My brother also works closely with him on his vehicle, and my father has been a loyal BMW customer for over a decade. He has been working with Rhoel for years at this point and speaks very highly of him. He is professional, personable, and shows that he cares about your experience and your vehicle. He delivers a level of service that BMW should recognize and be proud of. If only other dealerships out there had someone like him...

Ask for him if you visit the service department, you ll be as grateful as my family has been with him.

Germain BMW is a great place to buy a car. Nice people and simple process. We dealt with two sales reps Alex Soare and JJ or John Joseph. Both were extremely polite, courteous, easy to work with and very knowledgeable. I would definitely buy another car from Germain and them.

We have driven BMWs for 20 years. All have been purchased from Germain BMW of Naples. The cars have been serviced exclusively at Germain. For a very long time our service manager has been Chuck Griffith. Chuck has been unfailing professional and gracious. His knowledge has been extrordinay and he has regularly assisted us with difficult decisions. This last service was a perfect example. Chuck arranged to have our car picked up, serviced ande delivered. All items mentioned were completely handled and the car was returned super clean and looking like new. Calls before and after service were rreceived from Chuck, as always. Germain has a very valuable employee in Chuck.
