National Academy of Sciences of Georgia. Previously, the building of the Academy of Sciences of the GSSR. Initially, the building was intended for the state enterprise "Gruzugol". It was built in the 1950s on the site of other buildings. Built in the style of the "Stalinist Empire", with monumental columns and vaults. The building is decorated with a high spire, on which a five-pointed star rose (the star was dismantled in 2010). The facade of the building is faced with yellow travertine.
