Cashier Tia Nicole A had a horrible mood morning of Tuesday August 28th 2018
She served as if she were doing us a favor. My mother who has an accent but is very well understood when speaking, had placed an order. When our order came and was wrong (completely wrong) she called us over to the register to pay for the mistaken order. Once I said I would like to speak to a manager she insisted there s no manager present and that s ok, but she followed me to our table after I said I no longer wanted the order due to her nasty attitude.
She followed me to our table and began to speak, when I responded she replied i m not talking to you, (proceeded to look at my mother) ma am you have to pay for the order.

Horrible service. Nasty attitude. Don t work early shifts if you don t have the right attitude to do so.

***update- I proceeded to pay the difference and she charged me for 2 Miami bagels... I asked for one.

She has left the building because it bothered her so much. She went home.
A kind lady is now working the register and is doing wonderful.

Good bagels, terrible service. It's very unclear where to order, wait, and pickup online orders. The confusion forced 12 people waiting outside into a Lord of the flies situation where we had to decide our rules were for entering the store and decide who was going to complain at the front. Service (order timing, accuracy, and customer management) was also an issue pre-COVID, so it's difficult for me to forgive the repeated issues.

Management needs to step up their game and get some systems in place.

I have been coming here for years, and I stopped by for the first time in a while this morning. I was extremely disappointed. Their bagels used to be big and puffy like I remembered from New York when I lived there. Now they re much smaller and the prices are astronomical. Sadly this will be my last visit here.

Really like the bagels but order accuracy is always a problem. Today they forgot the avocado which I paid for on my wife s bagel sandwich. Can t get a hold of anyone to easily get a refund (no email, language difficulty with staff on phone). They really need to publish a contact email.

If you are going to Sarah's for ice cream, make sure to swing by Georgetown to pick up bagels for your next meal or breakfast tomorrow. When I drove to this area, my intent was just to get Sarah's. When I saw that this store front just a few steps away, I had to stop in. I'm really glad I did.

Incredible bagels, even next day. I ordered blueberry and pumpernickel rye. I also got a small container of the whitefish salad, which is SO. GOOD. I would actually go out of my way just to get that from Georgetown Bagelry.

What set this visit apart was the customer service. I came in right at the last minute, when the store front was dead and ready to close up. Even though it was late and the end of the day, the staff was friendly and even struck up conversation with me, rather than quickly pushing me out the door.

Hate to write this, but it must be done: grew up around the corner from here so have been patronizing here for two decades & been a bagel connoisseur for over a decade. The repeatedly shrinking bagel size, declining bagel quality, and significantly diminished quality of fillings for breakfast sandwiches etc has been a massive disappointment with Georgetown Bagels. Sadly, I must recommend you stay away (as I will be) in favor of Bethesda or other bagel options downtown. Heartbreaking for my nostalgia, but this just isn t worth spending money at anymore.
