The only Greek Diner we could find near the area we lived, everything is corporate out here, in NJ diners are everywhere!!

George's has become our favorite breakfast dining place. Even the 20 mile drive is not an issue when coming to George's. The staff are always nice and courteous. The food tastes great and is always served hot. I can't recommend a place for great food or service.

You can have breakfast foods any time of day! They offer various burgers, sandwiches, broasted chicken, salads, Greek gyros, omelettes, shakes, pies, brownies, and bread puddings.
The friendly staff offers first time customers a 10% off coupon and menu to encourage a return visit.
It worth a try for people who want a break from the franchises along I-75!

Our elder relatives took us for dinner. It has a 1950s vibe with old time music and decor. The menu is classic as well.

If you're looking for some good home cooking....better than those chain restaurants....then I recommend you try this place.
Broaster chicken is unique. Not fried, but crispy and juicy and tender. Not available where we live so it was a new experience. Delicious.

Service is great. Staff is very friendly and sociable. Big smiles too.
Food is good home cooked. Made to order. I like their breakfasts the best.
Just an everyday type of restaurant which makes it comfortable to relax at. You don't feel rushed.

use to be a decent place to go too.

last time was here food was not very good. this time the omelet i had was very good rest of the meal was vile. started ask for home fries cooked well got a plate of half cooked potatos no onions like asked for. person i was with like theres lot less cooked and they were to raw for them. sent them back and was not much better in being cooked were not edible. was told when leaving lot of there food was prebaged and only just microwaved not even cooked any more. why home frys were so bad. next the tost was was just fresh bread not even tosted. last complaint there is nothing can drink there but water unless pay and arm and leg for a shot glass of orange juice. they had gotten rid of there iced tea.

I will not be back and would not recomend them any more

Finally tried George's Family Restaurant for take-out chicken after seeing a billboard declaring them "Dayton's Best Chicken". Now, having eaten their chicken, we agree--it's definitely the best in North Dayton, for sure. None of the normal franchises in this area can serve up even a mediocre chicken meal, and George's was delicious! Even though it was close to closing time, our chicken was hot and delicious, perfectly seasoned, and well-priced. We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes which were touted as house-made, and indeed, they were real mashed potatoes, complete with some little nuggets of potato left unmashed. We ordered curbside carryout which took 20 minutes from call to cheery delivery to our car. Thanks for making our Friday evening meal so effortless & delicious--we'll be back!

The service was excellent, everyone was so friendly, nice and did everything to make sure we were satisfied. Their food was wonderful. Try their Spinach pie & delicious Cheesecake. Definitely Family orientated Resturant

I love George's the waitress was great, the food was great, and the service was great. I went to George's with my grandfather "Its her birthday" he had told our waitress and without even asking she came out with my plate and put a single candle in my waffle. I really wasn't in the mood to celebrate my birthday till she did that and for that I thank her and the staff for an excellent service!!. If I could give more stars I would!!

My husband and I love this place! They have authentic Greek foods that are delicious! Their burgers are amazing and the portions are just right. Only complaint is their delivery hours through Door Dash; wish they were longer!

My first time there. Saw the great reviews so wanted to give it a try. I had fried chicken n waffles. The chicken fried perfect but lack seasoning so added salt and pepper. The waffle n warm syrup was delicious! My son had chicken strips with onion rings and said they were just ok. My mom had fried chicken dinner with mash potatoes and green beans. Said the same about chicken and added xtra Tabasco on hers. Nice clean place, good service. Will go back again to try something different. It looks like it's better to go for breakfast type place

The broasted items are great, as well as their breakfast selection! They also have great pies. It was voted best diner in Dayton for 2015.

I took a friend of mine, an older lady with me to George's and it was first time for both of us. The food was very good even better than expected. Service was very friendly from the person who seated us to our server to the person who checked us out. I would recommend to anybody looking for American diner food. In the future I plan to try some of the Greek specialties, as these reminded me of the Greek restaurants of my youth growing up in Chicago.

We love eating here. We stop in each time we are in the area. Very nice clean and cozy. The food is wonderful. The people are kind and friendly. Looking forward to many more stops.

Food was great. The server wasn't very friendly and seemed to want to rush us to leave. It wasn't busy and there were many empty tables.

The chicken is out of this world! I pick every bit of it off the bone every time. The fish is flaky & tasty. I LOVE this place!

I was with a group of 5 on a busy Saturday morning. It smelled so good in there. The service was fast (and friendly) and our food came fast. Very good prices. I'll go back again and try lunch.

Goerge's is the place to go if you are looking for home cooked comfort food. They have an extensive menu of favorites including burgers, meatloaf, broasted chicken, soups, salad all day breakfast and homemade pies! The service is friendly and informative. We had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans and the Reuben and steak fries. All were very good! The homemade peanut butter pie was great! They have specials most days too!

Pleasantly surprised! Took my dad for Fathers Day breakfast and had a good meal. I had a perfectly formed Greek omelet filled with chopped gyros meat and topped with a dollop of tiziki. My Dad enjoyed his senior's omelet. And we both has the endless cup of coffee. Like a classic diner, they ask if you want a hot refill every so often. The staff were super friendly from a smile when we came in the door, thru out the service, and on the way out. Nice experience. Would definitely go back again. Caio!

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews it had. We were not disappointed! The waitress greeted us immediately and she was very friendly. My husband got breakfast and said it was fantastic (I tried some of his biscuits & gravy...delicious!!) I had the chicken breast with swiss cheese and onions. The salad was fresh and tasty. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the cole slaw was the best!!! (And I am picky about cole slaw.) I will definitely go again and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The prices were also very reasonable. Two thumbs up for this gem!!!

They are supposed to have the best hamburgers in town but the one I got the other day was burnt beyond recognition. I told the waitress she just looked at me and said oh I'm so sorry and that was it when the guy up front asked when I paid I told him he gave me a card for 10% off my next visit for this is about my 5th time going there and I'm just not impressed hasta la vista
