This was my first visit at this family restaurant and I must say it lives up to the hype around town. Today I enjoyed the 4-piece Broasted Chicken with broasted potatoes and applesauce. The chicken was juicy and not overly seasoned like many places. They offer curbside pickup as well as dine-in. Yep, this is going to be one of my favorite eateries. Sorry no picture because I devoured my food before this request for review came up.

My grandpa took me here for the first time and it was a great place. All the food is fresh and reasonably priced. It was so clean! Most restaurants have quite a bit of dirt here and there but this one didn t. They keep the place clean and it shows. Staff is super friendly as well.
The gyro was disgusting and the big scramble was dry...no flavor

Biscuits dry and small. The butter on the toast tasted rancid. Had to get up and find my waitress when we needed anything.
Although there are other items on the menu, this is the place to go for the most delicious, juicy steaks in town. It is not very large and has a comfortable atmosphere and great service. So whatever the occasion, birthday, first date, anniversary, business, prom, our just because, be sure to visit the Pine Club in Dayton!

Came here for lunch after a recommendation from a co-worker. I'm not from the area but work at a location nearby from time to time. I have found my go to for lunch when working in the area from now on. The food was great, service was wonderful, and had a very nice and clean atmosphere.

Chicken was good a little crispier than I'm used to but it was okay and the cabbage rolls were alright

Order food twice and disappointed each time. Bologna sandwich over priced and meat was of cheap quality. Pork chop was extremely dry and tough. Will not return back
Met with a friend for lunch, he requested that we eat here, it was good, it reminded me of a Restaurant that I had been to in Charlotte NC.
This is a very clean establishment. The service is good and the food can be too. There have been times where the food hasn t been up to par but overall a not bad place. Dayton is slim pickings with decent restaurants but this one is good.

Awesome! My first visit. Best country fried steak I've ever had, and I'm 62 y/o and have been around.
Soooo good! Omelet was delicious and a good size. The Meatloaf was also very good, but not quite as much as I would've hoped for. The service was incredible! By far the fastest I have ever been served. It was less than 10 minutes from ordering to everyone eating at the table. (It felt like less than 5 minutes, but I wasn't timing them). Their homemade Coleslaw is the BEST I'VE EVER HAD!
Made from scratch dishes and an eclectic menu that has something for everyone. Breakfast all day. Greek dishes. American diner staples. Family owned and super friendly staff.
Always a pleasant experience. And found out that Monday is discounted dessert day.....as we were checking out. Had the meatloaf and hubby had gyro. Both good and would get again. Friendly staff.

Had breakfast at George's this morning, good as usual. As we were leaving a person walked in without a mask. I heard the manager tell him that masks were required. Evidently he declined to wear a mask and she said she was sorry and he left. I very much appreciate them upholding the mask requirement as I am double high risk.
Love the food and the service, very friendly staff. Breakfast is my favorite, always get the Full House and at lunch time I always get the Delux Club Combo!
Every town should have (and maybe does have) a place like George's. Over the top service (our waiter put in our order and when part of it didn't come out and we told him, got the order and then comped it! What?!?!! ), classic American breakfast (as a southern boy, I would have sworn I was back "home") and a nice open atmosphere. If you're in the area, you have to go here. I almost forgot... they have brownies the size of my head (and I have a BIG head).
Good wholesome family food and breakfast. Served by friendly helpful people. Very nice experience for an out-of-towner.
Chicken wasn't fully cooked. Wrong orders and to top it off cashier told my sister I didn't pay for chicken that was part of a wrong order.
The service is awesome! Not to forget that all of the food is A-1!

A classic style diner that offers a good selection of American and Greek style foods. The service is top notch, I always have a full coffee cup. The prices are very reasonable and they give a great deal of roasters chicken.
Breakfast was very good. Made to order food. Waitress was very knowledgeable about menu & cooking. Biscuits was great!
We stop to eat here everytime we are in town visiting my son and daughter. Friendly and quaint, food portions good size. Never disappointed.

Good place for conversation and food. Once known as the Char-R-Burger. Was a great hangout when I went to high school in the 60's. Still a good place to hang out.
Food was great and service was great!! I had hotcakes and a sausage and bacon omelette.

I m not sure what made me stop here on the way home from work one day but I m glad I did. Doesn t look like much from the outside (not a bad thing) but once you go in you ll understand. Their soups are awesome, haven t had a bad one yet. The staff is what makes it though. Every time I ve gone they have been great. I enjoy visiting places where you can clearly see the staff is happy to be there. I m not one of the regulars yet but am working on it. Will be back soon to try something new on the menu.
