Not a fan of this school it s always an excuse about your child. They don t like working with your kids they don t utilize skills for these kids to be successful. My kids definitely will not be returning. I have to constantly go back and forth with staff just to make sure everything is in the best interest of my kid. Being that this is a well know school you would expect more but these people only care about a paycheck not our kids !
We rented the George Gervin Gym for a surprise graduation party and it was great! The staff was very friendly & helpful. My son and his friends loved the Gym! They had the buzzers go off like a real basketball game. All of our guests had a great time!
I am posting this because I used to work in the kitchen I was a cook a temporary one with express personal. Supposedly the paper plates had not paid their bill since I started working there with my temp agency. So sad...i liked the job but I am posting in case anyone else is called to work there. Dishonest company from Dallas. They need to pay what they owe. Not tale care of the three that are there.
I thought this was a good school because I heard so many good things about it but as time went on I started to notice that this school and some of the staff are really unprofessional. They pick and choose rules they want to enforce for certain people or parents. The parking lot is dangerous, they have no one out in the parking lot making sure the kids are safe because cars zoom in and out of there not watching for pedestrians, people park crooked and hit or scrape your car. Then they want to complain because your going out of the door in the back when they let everyone go in and out. they should be concerned with that parking lot issue but I guess being choosey with parents to follow rules is more important. I would think twice before enrolling in this school especially if you dislike favoritism and backwards rules. I'm glad my kids are not going back next year.
My niece has been at the school since pre k. She is now in 1st grade and every year it gets worse and worse. They are never paying attention to these kids. They talk about how they are so organized and strict protocol on bad behavior yet almost every week my niece has a story to tell about a kid hitting her spitting on her pulling her hair etc. The teachers pay no attention and are so un organized. She doesn't even come home with homework sometimes. If they have any extra activities for the week they don't even give the parents enough time to gather stuff together for whatever events it is. The teachers had made her cry before and even showed the kids some graphic stuff when they didn't even ask parents permission before they showed them. This school is COMPLETELY HORRIBLE!

So many good memories here. I loved the teachers. They know so much of knowledge from education to actual living. They inform us about many opportunities. They are the best. I don't know about the elementary or middle but I am saying on behalf my high school years. Great school.
DO NOT get a job here or send your children here. This is the worst place I have worked in 26 years working in education. Poor management that is only concerned about money and not about their staff or children. They treat teachers and staff poorly. They do not provide what you need to teach your students. They are only concerned about the attendance of children because that is how they get paid by the state. I secured a grant for this school specially for their credit recovery program and instead of using some of the funds for a new credit recovery program they used the majority of the money for personnel wages. They just recently let go many teachers and staff stating budget cuts, but turned around and listed their jobs on indeed for high salaries. The. Principle is 27 years old and is not even certified in the state of Texas but they are requiring all teachers to be. If your child is in special education just know they will not receive services they are entitled to by law. I can go on and on but I will stop here.
I don't know anything about the school. But I do know the event they held recently regarding a sports tournament was absolutely disorganized. people got so aggressive for parking.
I'm sure the school is a well ran facility BUT volleyball club teams need to stop holding volleyball tournaments here. The courts/ facility are not equipped for large crowds/ multiple teams. Seating is bleacher seating and very limited. Also the airflow lacks greatly creating a humid uncomfortable climate for players and spectators. Volleyball directors please stop signing up teams to compete here!!!
