Be careful if you have loved ones here the nurses forgot to give my mom her insulin on several occasions that I know of. And if you do not have relatives that work there you can be asked to leave if your loved one does not get along with the director or if they do not want to see the house doctor and want to continue to see their own doctor. Lots of issues going on behind closed doors . Beautiful building but lots of problems to fix.

I think Homestead at Gentlebrook is a wonderful place. I love working there and I love my residents. It s the cleanest, friendliest, spiritual facility I have ever worked in. I actually enjoy going to work and I miss my residents when I m not there. I hope to be a nurse there once I finish nursing school. This place is very special I ve never seen a facility make the residents feel so at home. Great Place!!! I do admit sometimes we are short but we make the best of it.

We could not have chosen a better place for my sweet mom when she needed memory care. Dianna, Roxanne and their staff are THE BEST. They were caring and compassionate, not only with my mom but with our family - guiding us through each phase of dementia and helping me as a daughter cope and understand. Home cooked meals, spacious rooms, activities and holiday cheer were a part of our experience, and they made my mom feel special. At the end of her life, they were there for her and for me and my family. We will never forget their grace, goodness and care. We are forever grateful.
