I run a small business and we ve been in business ...

I run a small business and we ve been in business for 26 years. Why is it that I haven t now had a delivery 5 times this year?

October 5, 2018, I normally get deliveries on Friday. I called the company because the truck hasn't made it yet. They tell me to wait till 6PM. 6 PM rolls around and guess what? No driver. Call the company, they re closed. I come into work Saturday morning and their they are. Waiting for me. Now Saturday s I don t expect any deliveries so the check isn t on my person. Keep in mind we ve been in business for 26 years and I ask if they can just pick up the check later today or even on Monday morning. Their response is no. So here I am with no products to sell to my customers and a company that doesn t even remotely try to help their own clients. I m livid at the fact that they think they can deliver whenever and wherever they want. Every other distribution company is understanding except for general wholesale. I can t believe this company is still in business. Im tired of being a small business and not getting the same treatment as the bigger chains. Unacceptable for a multi million dollar distribution company.

The worst company I've had to deal with in awhile....

The worst company I've had to deal with in awhile. When you order beer from them it's a flip of a coin if you get it at all. If your blessed enough to acquire the beer, more than likely half the order is wrong or missing. Sadly the company doesn't not seem to implement any changes in their failing attempt to even slightly compare to their competition. They have certain brands that as a buyer you have to carry and they use that leverage to keep their lackluster service of a business afloat. They have some capable people in the field so that usually means it is rotting from the top. I have to do business with them but if you can avoid it save yourself the headache.

Drivers are upto something im sure they sell beer ...

Drivers are upto something im sure they sell beer to people outside. I have seen manytimes they showing inside the truck for people outside. And they are always short of items we order. they say they are dammaged.
The company is the worse i have dealt with. Do not return phone calls, they skip deliveries a lot of times truck never shows up. Very unreilable company. Reps dont return phone calls, managers dont care about whats going on. its a disgrace to Corona beer and other great beer companies. General wholesale is killing the sales of corona and other beer companies.

Worst service ever. Beer does not get delivered. If it does get delivered - half of the beer is not loaded on the truck. Not one takes responsibility of this.
No one answers in the Corporate office. NO STARS.

I wish there was a -10 rating. My husband has worked for these people for over 12 years and the ONE time we have to do anything official with his 401k to buy a house we're told it has to go through Mike Blaine in the home office. I (employee's wife) call to obtain very basic information about how to fill out the paperwork. Blaine fails to return my call. Call again and a third time upon which he finally takes my call and in a nutshell tells me he had zero intention of speaking with me about the situation. Mind you my husband is out driving for them all hours of the day and they know that. He doesn't really have time to do these things. I faxed the required documents SIGNED BY THEIR EMPLOYEE, MY HUSBAND on the 4th of this month and was told it would take two to three weeks to process. As of today, May 21st, checking online nothing is processing. Husband calls and it turns out MIKE BLAINE, human resources extraordinaire, never submitted our documents to the 401k administrator. You are literally playing with your employees lives and this is just plain wrong and really makes it look like General Wholesale doesn't care about their employees. If there was any question about security or legitimacy about what I discussed he simply could have called my husband, their employee and asked if this was legit. Instead Blaine created a situation where we had the possibility of losing the home we are buying and it's unexcusable. I have the fax confirmation showing it went through because I'm professional, manage an office and treat fellow employees with respect.
