Clean and calm testing environment + computers work great + the people that work there are just wonderful. The best standardized testing experience I ve had (and I ve had a lot). They re so kind and make an effort to create a pleasant environment which really helps the anxiety when you re going in super stressed over an important exam you spent so long preparing for!

I have never written a review before, so thats how you know its bad.

I showed up to take the HESI A2 exam an hour early today. When I walked up to the front door, there was a handwritten sign that said "Sorry We're Closed" with a bunch of customer service numbers for Prometrics and different test companies.... I called Prometrics and it turns out, they were closed for the day and cancelled all appointments because "None of the employees made it in today". I never received a call or email stating that there was a change in my appointment. The representative told me they were working on calling everyone, but I find it crazy that an hour before my test, I was still left in the dark. So now, I have to drive 2 hours there an back tomorrow to take my test in a completely different city.

If you can take your test anywhere else, I advise you to do so. This testing center and Prometrics in general is so unprofessional.

Employees should be respectful to test takers, and be quiet during the exams. We are not paying hundreds of dollars to take an exam just to hear people chat about their personal lives, and laugh. It makes it really hard to focus on the exams.

Also, the rooms are really cold, so layer up!

I took a test here about 2 months ago. We were told to make sure we got there an hour early to get back on time. It took them 2.5 hrs to get me started on the process of starting my test. The lady at the front desk was nice, but skipped a classmate and had someone with a later time start before her. The 2 staff members doing the finger printing were nice and helpful.
I have another test to take in about 2 weeks (only place allowed to take it in Austin area), so I tried to call to see if there was a way to make sure I could start my tst on time this time. I have called 3 times. Each time I picked to talk to a local staff member, the phone rang anywhere from 35 seconds to a minute and a half before being disconnected.
This place needs to get their act together!

Been here twice in two weeks- each time to take a lengthy certification exam. Just wanted to thank you for a really seamless and safe process in the wake of COVID. For both exams- appreciated clear directions on COVID procedures as well as the care you took at all stages.

I showed up at 8:00am for an 8:30 test and was dropped off. I waited 30 minutes outside in line before being told to "wait in my car." I ended up waiting outside for an hour (in 40 degree weather!) after calling my ride to come back. It's 9:00, and I'm still waiting.

This location is awful. I have tried calling for the last 2 wks and the phone just rings and then after 5 mins hangs up (no one has answered, theres no where to leave a message). Online shows the location is open, I went to the physical location and it was closed.

Went for the test yesterday, there was one employee who said that she cannot open n waiting to hear back from others, there were 20 sm people waiting for answers, finally another employee comes n says she is new too n the manager is travelling for a conference, when all the people told them to find out how to get going thru the help of sm call centre, both the employees ran away in there cars putting a 'sorry we r closed ' board, have my test rescheduled again soon, hope its open then. No effort on part of prometric to get help from other close by centres.
People were on there last day deadline for test, n also many travelling from various cities. Horrible experience.

The worst run company in the United States. Cancelled a test 12 hours before via email, still says scheduled on their website/system. Not able to reschedule the test. No one answering the phone on the weekend. There is such a large cost to these exams and Prometric can t even run a business better than I could run a lemonade stand when I was 5 yrs old. I wish and hope for an alternative testing center and I m sure thousands feel the same.

There is a bitter sort of irony in the people tasked with administering examinations to ensure your competency, being so deeply incompetent themselves.

Admitted that they failed to schedule a proctor for what appeared to be a fully booked morning, so an entire testing room was unavailable and everyone told to reschedule. Staff then proceeds to tell everyone to hang around for a half hour, in case something changed, which everyone knew full-well it wouldn't, but had to do to get the ticket numbers to be able to reschedule without paying for the examinations again.

It's 2020 - not entirely sure how one simply fails to schedule an exam, or, if you're short staffed, how your system allows your center to "overbook" its self, but it's pretty inexcusable given that this is exactly one half of their entire purpose, handling the logistics of the exams they administer. Complete and utter failure.

My wife took her gre test in this prometric center and she liked it. The staff is very professional and the testing setup is systematic and clear. I would remove one star for lack of parking space.

Horrible place to take a test. The employees were having loud personal conversations right outside of the testing room and it was hard to concentrate. Yes, they provide noise cancelling headphones (same ones baggage handlers use at the airport) but they are very uncomfortable. My opinion is that those headseats should be used to cancel normal room noise and not filter loud personal conversations from employees. Employees should be more empathetic with test takers, some people have spent a lot of time studying and listening to your weekend plans do not help while taking an exam.

I was scheduled to take my test (ESL Supplemental 154) at this testing center on July 20, 2017. There were almost 30 of us waiting starting at 7:15 for our tests. At 8:00, someone finally came to notify us that the branch was closed for the day. They said they didn't have enough staff. We offered to wait until they called their manager to see if they could get one more person to arrive, and she said ok. Meanwhile, they snuck out the back door leaving us with just a list of number to call that we have already called.

1 person in our group of 30 got a call and email that the test was cancelled.

Prometric had the guts to tell ETS(Education Testing Center) that they called ALL OF US AN HOUR before the test. THIS IS A LIE. Also, they told the news that they were working hard with us to get us reschedule. WHICH ALSO IS A LIE.

This is so unprofessional considering people came from all over texas to take this test. We had at least 6 people that drove from Houston to take their tests. What these people did not realize is that we have DEADLINES as to when these tests need to be completed. Because of THEIR MISTAKE, I can't get rescheduled and take my test before the due date and they don't seem to care at all whatsoever.

Testing is stressful and brings out a lot of anxiety. On my test day I woke up early went for a bike ride, ate breakfast and headed to the Prometric to take the GRE. When I arrived and checked in, I realized I was at the wrong center! The staff was so unkind. They even laughed at me as I ran out the door to head to the correct center before the test started and I lost $90. Not even a sympathetic smile or suggestion. Sooooo unhelpful!

I took my PFT certification exam here. Very convenient for bus travel and a great staff of employees.

Be sure to bring ALL necessary credentials for your specific exam. One guy in front of me brought an expired license and he did not take his test that day.

Also, dress comfortably, but know they will ask you to turn out your pockets - that means no cargo pants! :)
