Sharon is awesome! On two occasions I brought her a computer and hard drive that several computer repair facilities advised could not be fixed and files could not recovered. On both occassions she recovered ALL the files. She willl go the extra mile to find and fix the problem as well as being very reasonable in the fees she charges. The hard drive came from a family member in Jacksonville FL where there are a ton of repair facilities. None of them could recover the files so I advised them to send it to me so she could look at it. Took her 10 minutes after all the experts in Jax said the files were lost to determine she could recover them. Would recommend her without reservation.

A great experience, and I'm never going anywhere else. I'm not afraid to open up a computer to check on loose connections or swap out a card, but I had a problem I couldn't figure out. The boss lady fixed it completely a) before I could even get an appointment at Best Buy and b) for less than half the price ReBoot charges just to look at a "custom-build." She told me what she did and why, didn't treat me like I MUST be stupid, didn't try to upsell me, did the job, and got back to work on somebody else's machine. Boom. That's how it's done. Went in for a MagSafe adapter and the black pads for the bottom of my MacBook. Had them in stock with a great price! Lady at the front desk was speedy, knowledgeable, and honest. Great experience!

The hinge on my laptop was broken they fixed it the same day Sharon was very nice.

Miracle workers. Recovered my computer from catastrophic water damage in just three days (two of which were spent waiting on parts), with all my data and functionality intact. They are honest people and will not overcharge you or take advantage of your (likely) unfortunate circumstances. They provided regular updates and transparent pricing upfront, and completed the repair for less than 1/5 of what Apple would've charged. I will send all my friends here.

Brought my computer in, was repaired and ready for pick up within hours. Process was fast and easy and reasonably priced.

Needed a power adapter for an old laptop, they had it, in stock. It's a good place to go for low-priced supplies. They can order for lower than the chain stores too. Haven't used them for service (do my own).

This is a great place to have your computer repaired. Sharon, the aisian ladt behind the desk as everyone keeps describing her, is a little rude and short, but it's not on purpose. It's a cultural issue. If you don't want to have to pay the high prices of best buy, then you come here. They know what they are doing even if it takes a little longer. They also won't neccesarily call you all the time to keep you updated, but are always willing to talk about your computer if you make a quick call to them. Again, it's a cultural issue, not blatantly disregard for customers.

I paid for them to fix my computer and instead of saying she couldn't fix it she came up with things she did that should solve the problem but it's still in the same condition.. I took it back and left it for over a month.. Still the same condition

i just called to see how much the used computers were and they were a few hundered bucks used computers should be between $20~$50 bucks

Wonderful people, great prices. Have needed their services twice now, my computer was always fixed by the date they originally told me when I brought it in and always called letting me know it's done. Much appreciated.

The lady behind the counter was rude. They took 4 weeks to repair my computer not 3-5 days. Refused to keep me updated and most importantly was the rudest service I have ever had. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! You may pay more somewhere else but these people are dishonest. Their incompetence is through the roof!

Very friendly, helpful. Showed me how to do somethings. Restored laptop to original settings after someone went in and changed my settings. Very pleased with outcome. Inexpensive!!!!

My family has 4-5 desk top computers and 4 laptops at all times. Every 3-4 years we order new computers with the exact specs we want, so all total we have purchased about 16 different computers from GC over the years. On the rare occasion we need repairs, they are fast, thorough, and less expensive than anywhere else in town. Oh, they've also built computers for every friend I've sent to them... Always quality service. Sharon isn't always easy to understand, but if you ask her to slow down, she does willingly. I don't understand the bad reviews... some people just don't see quality when its in front of them, I guess.

I had a great experience here! I brought my laptop in midday and the next day it was fixed for a great price! She was very kind and easy to work with!

I've used GC computer from the first week they opened. I used to drive all the way to Jimmy Carter Blvd to get reasonably priced parts to build my own computers. When Sharon came here, all of a sudden I found a place that was 25% or better cheaper on all the parts I was driving so far to get. I've had numerous friends as well as my own computers repaired by Sharon over these years and never had a problem. I'll believe these other horror stories when I see them happen. I don't believe them and I really think they are competition trying to pull down the best computer store in Athens. While nobodies perfect, some of these are off the chart lies in my opinion..

I highly recommend G C to repair your computer, purchase parts, buy a new desktop (built to your specs) or a used laptop or desktop. They are very nice and vary fair with their prices. Sharon is Great and she'll get your broken system back up and running within a reasonable time frame.....usually very quickly unless they're just covered up. I've used them for more than 14 years and I'm still satisfied.

I've been a happy customer for 20+yrs. Sharon is the smartest, and most helpful computer guru I have ever known. She always fixed and/or upgraded my computers by replacing components for far less than buying new ones. They are in the 1st floor of the mall. Park in the back.

Plenty of parts and all that but either the staff wasn't up to date on their information or was trying to be deceiving. I tried to walk in to buy a power supply and asked if the PSUs the lady was showing me was 80+ certified (no badge on the box) and she said it was everything certified and she had been doing this for 15 years. She then proceeded to tell me that the PSU was the best because cooler master was the best brand. Can't really say that's the case anymore, there's a lot of really good contenders out there (Antec, Seasonic, even Rosewill to name a few). Might have been good back in the day but today the folks there aren't aware of modern standards and were actually being helpful, or were actively being deceitful and trying to push sub par parts on me.

I have done business with GC for over a decade and they are great. Prices are reasonable, the management and staff are competent, nice, and always available. Recently I sent a student to GC after another computer place in town tried to charge her $500 to replace a hard drive! GC had one for $70 and installed it for free. What's not to like?

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They were incompetent and could not communicate their ideas or thoughts clearly. They were unable to correctly fix my computer and called me 3 different times to say it was completely fixed only to have me wait hours because when i got there it was still messed up. A simple power jet fix turned into a massive mess involving having to completely restart my computer to factory settings, after they assured me this would not happen. Would not recommend. Find an actual and credible computer place to fix your computer other than this establishment.

I just upgraded my computer and needed a (very) specific cord, so I called 17 minutes before they closed. They were both helpful and fast, letting me finish an assignment just in time! Thank you so much!!!
