The Gaylord is a really nice resort with a ton of amazing things to see and do. There are shops, restaurants, and beautiful plants for days.

I found the food at Stax, Jack Daniel's, and Fuse to be okay at best and was VERY expensive. I wasn't impressed to say the least.

Rooms are small with limited storage and outlets for devices (families beware) is limited.

My overall experience was okay but this would be a resort that I would visit again.

I recently stayed at this resort and it is very nice. The atrium gardens are beautiful. You can walk around inside for a long time looking at plants and waterfalls and a "river". The rooms are clean. I'm not a big fan of the recent decorating trend of modern or sleek. I'll be happier when the trend shifts back to warm, cozy. But that's just personal preference. I suppose some people like "hospital chic". There are plenty of dining options. There are 3 pools. The Irish pub is a fun evening option. Really the only downside here (and resorts in general) is that you can't just walk out the door to other entertainment options. There's nothing nearby.

This place is pretty much first class operation. The atmosphere of the garden areas is amazing. Around he holidays it becomes like a Disney atmosphere of people on top of people crowded. The staff has always been very professional. For the price the rooms are pretty basic but what you are paying for is the atmosphere and it has a variety of restaurants under one roof.

This is a magnificent place to visit during the Christmas holiday. Starting in November all the way through January just after New Year's, the Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel has the ice exhibit along with many other shows and activities that take place. You will spend hours walking through this entire Resort with the Oasis that connects to YouTube a lot of restaurants and boutique stores to buy clothes another specialty gifts. If you come to the Nashville area to Vacation during is Thanksgiving a holiday or Christmas holiday into the new year, this is definitely a place to consider. I did a #DreamTrips experience here! #JustinPattonTheExplorer #TravelWithJustinPatton #FunPlaces #ChristmasTime #Nashville #Holiday #GaylordOprylandHotel

Hotel was nice. Room was clean. The restaurants inside are very over priced with a small menu selection. Some of the restaurants were very dirty, trash on the ground with old old ripped booth seats Ect. Hotel is far from downtown. They do not offer any transportation. Uber rides are $15 dollars each way to and from downtown. If going with kids, it is a neat experience, except everything is very overpriced. There are a lot of activities for kids! I would not personally stay here again due to the transportation, prices, crowdedness and location.

So we decided to have lunch at the pool. Called in-room dining, first time around took 10 minutes to get through, but got through and placed the order. Our order came down relatively quickly for this time of day, but they sent down the wrong drinks. Tried to call in-room dining back and after three attempts and 30 minutes of trying I gave up. I'd be happy to update this review at the end of our stay to see if they do right by us!

Wonderful resort with a lot to offer...shopping, restaurants, bars, and spa. Also, next door to Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Mall. Cascade rooms are closest to parking and check in. We were on 5th floor, room C5154. Beautiful room, with a great view. Very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Amazing resort. Something for everyone. From waterparks to high end restaurants, this is a great place to stay. Located next to the grand Ole opry and an outlet mall with shuttles everywhere. Well kept rooms and soft beds. I have no complaints..

This is a very nice convention center, with a lot of space and friendly service. It can border on "too big", but it is nice that there are so many dining, shopping, and relaxation options. I do feel like many things are way overpriced because you just don't have any other convenient options, but it's a relatively short ride into Nashville (if you avoid rush hour times) to find other places to explore.

We had so much fun here enjoying the Christmas theme and lights. We went on black Friday so parking was an absolute nightmare, but besides that everything about the hotel and mall was very enjoyable.

You have to stop here if you are visiting Nashville during Christmas. Conveniently located near Opry Mills Mall, this gigantic hotel is just beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. Hotel rates vary, but expect 4 star amenities. This was on our family bucket list and well worth the stop. If you just visit, expect long walks and a few hours to see all the atriums.

This is a great alternative to the parade of bridal showers downtown. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, check out the acres of indoor gardens, shop, visit the water park or grab a bit to eat. Although better than being outside on a hot day, it can still be a bit warm inside.

5-star rating for Cascades restaurant. 1-star rating for the "Top of the hour" shuttle service which left early (for downtown Nashville). Yesterday's 1:00 bus driver kindly waited for patrons and left at 1:09. Today's 1:00 bus left at 12:55 as we walked up. Guess we will wait another hour.

Incredible! My husband had a conference here over our anniversary. We had the best time! The greenery is great! You almost feel like you're somewhere tropical. I got so caught up in the pool and lounging at the hotel I almost forgot about downtown.

Very expensive. Nothing is included in the cost of room, water park, boat ride, etc. I had no idea! Customer service was not very helpful nor friendly. Most of the places to eat closed by 9pm. Try doing anything and finding your way around with 2 little ones in tow.

It was pretty but I wouldn't go again.

Greetings. It is me, Nathaniel Joseph Galang, and have enjoyed my past 3 weeks under the stay of Gaylord Opryland Resort. I give this resort a solid 5 and would recommend to the Gay Lords out there. Would love to visit again and hope to meet the Lords of the Gays once more.

Great service. Very good staff. Devon at Soundwaves was awesome. Very friendly and professional. We asked an employee to help us with cart and carrying our luggage to our car in parking lot and that employee carried our luggage cart all the way to our car in the parking lot. He was very professional and friendly. We later found out talking to him that he was one of the managers. We were surprised by his service. Great people working there. We will often go there.

I was excited to stay here because it seemed like a fun Vegas hotel and casino in Nashville. Well, it was like a Vegas hotel, but it wasn't within walking distance of downtown, so I was disappointed. I should've known from Google Maps, but sometimes it's hard to tell.

Overall, the room was nice and clean, and there was a restaurant open, when though we got to the hotel around 9:00pm. It was fun to walk around the main atrium for a bit with my husband, but there were three things I really disliked: 1) It's a confusing hotel! You need a map just to get around, and the signage stinks! We got lost a few times. It wouldn't be a huge deal, except that we had somewhere to be, and the hotel doesn't make it easy for you to leave. 2) The cleaning service woke us up at 8:30am and kept knocking intermittently several times well before check-out time! 3) Self-parking was $32!!!! Only 8 bucks less than valet. And again, the signage stinks, so getting out of the parking lot was also frustrating!

Bottom line: If you're on any sort of schedule, don't stay here, or try to leave your room well in advance. If you want to see the city at all and not water time at your hotel, don't stay here.

Nice hotel right in Nashville with a great water park but the service was a bit sub standard. I requested an early check in and didn t get it. Fine. Yet, my room wasn t even ready at the appropriate check in time and was actually late. I didn t get my room until 6:30. I ask for a later checkout and I m denied based on someone reserving the room I m in. I asked what about me not receiving my room on time. Didn t care. I was told the water park was sold out yet I saw tickets being sold to someone next to me. Nonetheless, my family was able to get in based upon that fiasco and the park was only about half full. Nice place to dine, good location, great amenities, but the service is a bit substandard.

Huge hotel with plenty of shopping and dining options in addition to beautiful indoor waterfalls and atriums. There was a large line at the regular check in; the line for Marriott Elite was near empty so check in was a breeze. Aside from all of the hotel attractions; Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills are a short walk away. The hotel also offers tickets for Nashville attractions.

We stopped by to visit and see the hotel on our way through Nashville. It is such a beautiful place to visit. There is a boat ride you can pay for that takes you though and they give different tours at different times. The food is good, but pricey at some of the places. There is also entertainment throughout the day. All the waterfalls and fountains are a lot of fun for kids.

We visited during Christmas '19 and stayed at the Opryland Hotel. One thing we did not like is that their parking is not free and they charge a huge amount for their guest to park there - can you imagine $39 per day! This is on top of the resort fee of $20 per day they charge. Other than these two , the stay was memorable and had beautiful Christmas time.

I will definitely be going back. There is so much to do and we didn t even leave the hotel until we were ready to leave and I still didn t see everything. If you stay there get a room that has a balcony that overlooks the center and you ll see waterfalls, restaurants and many beautiful plants.

There is a bayou and a small village captured and being held, presumably against it's will, inside this hotel and convention center. Send help immediately!

How can that be possible, you ask? The building appears to have mutated into a huge glass and stone village-eating monster that's quite tastefully done, to be frank. It is after it mutated that it must have captured the small village and river, complete with tour boat.

Seriously. Send help.

I highly recommend coming too this resort. It's beautiful and great for events. They have a nice selection of eateries and gift shops. They also have a boat ride and other fun activities. There are I believe 3 gardens possibly 4. I cannot remember, but they are worth checking out. There's also a live radio station and a water park connected. More to see im sure, but makes sure to visit if you are in Nashville.

Finally got to walk around Opryland today. We walked into the resort area which is good because there's a 32.00 fee for self parking. The complex is made up of at least 2 Hotels and Convention Center spaces. There is also shopping and several restaurants. I can see this would be a good spot for conventions. There is a large garden atrium in the center with 2000 Hotel rooms overlooking the gardens and water features.

I attended an academic conference here. It was a very nice experience. The space was very good to host the event. Be careful on the marble stairs in dress shoes- they can be a slippery combination! I really loved exploring the "jungle"in the hotel with my friends while we were there :)

Comfortable shoes are the key to staying here. Words will never do justice to expressing how huge this place is. Staff is everywhere to prevent people from getting lost. It is beautiful. The bellhops are nice and provide quick service. With a place this large you don't have to leave to eat or be entertained. The food is good. The drinks are strong. Just be prepared to walk a lot. Be prepared to get turned around. I came for a conference, make sure to request a room in the the section of rooms next to your conference area. I couldn't have gotten a room further away in the hotel from the conference, unless I stayed at another hotel. Seriously, ask to be close by. The concierge is hit or miss, you will either get an extremely helpful person or a resentful, short tempered employee. The housekeeping staff does not speak English. They try to help, but may not fully understand. Be clear and call the main number if you think they didn't understand. Make sure they replenish your coffee (you may need to check and grab more from someone in the hall.). So far we have eaten at the Falls (good trout dip), Wasabi (delicious), Ravello (yum), and the Library ( amazing cocktails!)

This place is just beautiful! I would love to stay at the hotel some day.. from what I saw online it's a little pricey depending on the room type. As a non guest you are able to walk through the hotel, explore the grounds. It's truly a sight to see. Beautiful gardens, friendly service, so much to do. It's a lot of walking so be prepared. It's free to visit, park in the mall parking lot for free parking. Otherwise it's around $30 to park at Opryland

Beautiful grounds. Service ranged from good to great. Lots of food options. The nearby mall and free shuttle service was great. Downtown shuttle service was available too. This place was amazing. The food choices got a bit tiring after 5 days of it, but still quite a good selection, and most things i got were good. The food wasn't amazing, but there's plenty of variety for about 5 days. After that i was really missing my own cooking.

Absolutely stunning hotel. The prices are a little high, but over all there is nothing more you could want in a hotel. They have several restaurants inside, they have waterfalls and an abundance of plants and flowers in the inside, as well as great staff to help with your stay. I have stayed here several times over the last couple years and it s always been phenomenal.

If you re interested in a one stop vacation shop, this place is great. The entire resort is very well kept, everything is clean and the people are friendly. It s huge and pretty confusing, but there are a lot of neat things to see. We took the complimentary shuttle to and from the Opry, which was nice.

Parking is pricey, and you pretty much have to valet. Food is ridiculously over priced, $16 cheeseburgers were just okay. Rooms were small for the price, but comfortable.

Over the top gorgeous Christmas decorations. There are a ton of eateries, dessert shop, and little shops. They had other Christmas events including meeting Santa, meeting reindeer, ice skating, and tubing. But these were all a bit pricey. We loved walking around taking in the scenery and feeling the warmth of the tropical feeling plants. It really felt like Christmas in Nashville!

Very nice facility but other than that it was a very bad experience. everything way to expensive to the point that it wasn't even enjoyable. The water park cost hundreds of dollars to get into and it was way to cold to enjoy my kids were shivering. If you have a bunch of money to waste this is the place to go!

I live in a nearby city and went to visit this place on the new year's eve. This place is stunning and the lighting was gorgeous. We parked at a nearby restaurant and walked to avoid the parking fees. There is a wonderful indoor arboretum as well as an indoor artificial river with boat rides. Plenty of restaurants and some shopping places were a plus.

No complaints! I m here working at the convention center. I am staying in the hotel for six nights.

The holiday decorations are amazing and totally blew me away. I do wonder if the giant atriums may look a bit bare as they take them down.

All the staff I have dealt with are incredibly friendly.

Great restaurants, bars and shopping.

I would like to return when I am not working and bring my wife and child. I m positive they would enjoy it. There is a 4 acre water park my daughter would love.

I absolutely love it here.

We have stayed at this Gaylord before and it was what we expected. I was however disappointed in the Breakfast with the Smurfs experience. It was not a traditional character dining experience. The breakfast was great, but there was one smurf at a time available for photos only. They did not come around and interact with the kids. Also, no personal pictures were allowed due to copywriting, etc.

I spent 10 days here providing IT support to a large conference that was held in the Convention Center and overall, I had an extremely poor time during my stay at this Gaylord location. But first, let's cover the good stuff...visually the Gaylord is extremely impressive, in fact I would go as far as to say that the the Gaylord atriums are among Nashville's must see locations while visiting and that pictures can't really convey the size, scope, and beauty of the gardens within it. Also, the staff can be extremely helpful and friendly, which is good because virtually every other aspect of this property will make you want to tear your hair out in frustration. These frustrations include, poor and inconsistent housekeeping standards, poor climate control in the rooms and public areas, poor room soundproofing, poor security, lack of warm water for the shower, weird and inconsistent hours at the restaurants meaning your food choices can become extremely limited very quickly, every restaurant I tried had extremely poor food at extremely high prices, the prices for gift shop and travel items was exorbitant, and the list really goes on. Overall I found that this location did not even come close to living up to it's reputation or even the tone of other reviews posted here, the experience was one star in every way and the location only gains its second by having such a great staff and due to its visual appeal.
