Galyan's Trading Company Review

Not a big fan of Plainfield Walmart. There were several employees restocking shelves who were not happy. One girl literally barreled out into the common aisles with a huge cart. Another was blocking a cross aisle with a cart. She was on her phone. The cashier was friendly. It's amazing to me that the necessities are at a minimum but the Christmas stuff is fully stocked.

Very disappointed with this visit needed to buy some clothing items and went to try them on and was told the dressing room was not open after 7pm. So my daughter and I had to purchase the clothes and try them on in the public restroom on site. This is very inconvenient!

Horrible service. Asked two employees for assistance both were being smart you know what to me. Never going back all I wanted was one thing and that apparently was over anyones pay grade that worked there to get some keys and open the glass cabinet. I'll just go to meijer might cost a little more, at least they help customers and enjoy their job a little more..

Extremely friendly staff! I didn't want to leave! Don't get me started on how clean and organized the store is. The store is immaculate!

Average Walmart. Called 5 times and each time rang until it disconnected automatically after 4 minutes. One call, employee picked up and immediately hung up. Don't try calling!

Ppssshhh once again must I say it. Walmart lol duh good stuff, go in for bread come out no bring but chocolate milk and a 50 in smart TV.

very few friendly employees. deli has a decent lunch deal. produce is a little pricey. pretty well stocked.

Nice to run into old acquaintances but has a lack of consistency in customer service through the store. Often time only acknowledged by cashier.

Went to Walmart in Plainfield at 8:15pm a lady named Jena was running out in the parking lot yelling out " we closed" to everyone who was getting out there car. We all know it closes at 8:30pm!!! All other Walmart let you come in 5 til close, and their nice about it. You need to get better employee's, cause she sucks...yes I'm talking about you "Jena"

Walmart as always had what I needed at a fair price.

The only reason that Walmart deserves a two and not a one was the fact that I was able to find what I needed there. The bathrooms were horrible. I went in both the restroom at both the back and front of the store and both looked like that had not been cleaned recently. The service was okay, and the lines were not that bad but cleanliness was lacking

I usually like Walmart but with the way some of the associates are I prefer to do my grocery shopping at the neighborhood market 10 min down the street. I still go In for clothes and misc. Items but not for much.

This Walmart is easy in and out most of the time. Fresh produce and fairly clean.

Since I'm from Canada, i find US Walmarts way better in everyway.

The groceries are quite cheap and there are more options than we find in Canadian walmart stores. The clothing variety is way better. This location is very neat!

Great location, great service with super prices. Fully stocked with great selections to choose from.

One of my favorite Walmarts. The staff is friendly & they always have what I need. I absolutely love their deli!! Their electronic staff is pretty knowledgeable. I can't get enough of that clearance isle.

Out of a couple of things I wanted, but still a good shopping experience for the most part.

Waited 40 mins at paint counter. Paged x4...still no help!

Good Walmart. They've been in the town for a very long time, staff has obviously changed and changes constantly the upper management does a rather good job of choosing who they hire. Only issues I can recognize I did very very occasional lack of stock on certain items as well asthe occasional wait in line due to a shortage of cashiers.

The best Walmart in and around Indianapolis!!! Clean and only really busy between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the weekdays. The Employees are always kind, courteous and very helpful

Always dirty parking lot and bathrooms and never can find sales associate in the department if I have a question or can't find something.

Called to check availability of 75 inch Samsung got put on hold for 9 minutes so I hung up called back and asked for the Manager. So after waiting another 7 minutes I hung up!!! Absolutely pathetic!! Will not shop here again. Management is pathetic!!

Online grocery pickup is suppose to be convenient for people that have a busy schedule. Everytime I do put an order in I dont know if they are lazy or just dont care but it seems they are always out of the simplest of items. For example hot dogs how are you out of hot dogs or deli meat or even tortillas. Get it together.

It was bad could not around the store not enough cashers sorry but it is the truth l am not the only person who feels this way

Its walmart. Play hide and seek with the employees when you need help . They try to push you into using self checkout . Then hold you up at the door to check your receipt .

Busy as you would expect a Walmart to be, seems to be doing a decent job at keeping up social distancing and what not

The Walmart in Plainfield they kicked butt they're just regular people but they go out of their way to help you out in my opinion they don't get paid enough for pounding them floors all day and night long

Even you scan requires assistance. The only reason I went is because they had what I needed and I was in a hurry.

This place is awesome one of the best walmarts around everyone willing to help

Pretty dissapointing,nothing of much structure throughout today..the few things we found tht we did like we only in tiny tiny sizes or the best "style" or "flavor" of said item was out.Then one of the best items we found I was buying for my girl and was a Harry Potter item but it wouldnt scan so they "couldn't" sell it to us by some stupid rule I guess? Overall not my best visit by far

Good mostly normal trip but there was a lot of people there.

Typical walmart. Doesn't seem as crazy busy as the other ones so that's a big plus

I like going to the Walmart marketplace it's really close to my work and I can get a few things before I go home prices are not good not that bad people are very friendly which exit good

All very kind and pleasant, they should look for more people with that attitude of service.

Very large variety of women's clothing! Store was very busy, yet our friendly cashier checked us out with a warm smile and a Merry Christmas!

The people of Walmart are very kind people during this hectic time they were still under pressure and well adapted to what they were doing

Barely any people around to help at electronics barely any places to check out after midnight half of the things I find are reused they need to hire more stock workers and customer service personnel

Where has customer service went? This is beyond the worst store ever. We moved here from Greenwood & I thought the Wal-Mart in Plainfield would be nice too. However I was wrong the workers are so rude and treat you with zero respect. I am not a fan of Wal-Mart here.
