There isn't another place in Houston that provides the same level of customer care. Ravi is quick with communication and finds a way to make your life easier while you're dealing with car troubles. Galson is the fastest and most reasonably priced place in the Houston area. Don't look for someone else just because the location is not convenient to you. For years I ve been looking for a honest , caring , and efficient mechanic shop and have been reluctant to come into any place to do work on my vehicle. I was referred to this amazing shop and after fixing my throttle body and replacing my battery I finally found my go to mechanic shop. John and the staff are great and will not take advantage! Very respectful , and they treat all of their customers as family and I consider them family as well. During the COVID 19 outbreak most are trying to scam others however this outstanding establishment is doing their part by remaining honest and truly looking out and blessing their community with their work !! Restorations on an old 2004 truck. Outstanding paint job and body work. Very good job in that department
Had exterior lighting upgraded to custome leds. But the reassembly and electrical wiring on the exterior was less than satisfactory.
The new headlights were incorrectly wired and not all features work.
The 7 pin trailer plug wired incorrectly.
One of the led roof lights leaked and when I took it apart to check the hardwear used to assembly was not from the kit I gave them. I had to use some sealant in the screw holes.
The tubes for my air lift kit were kinked when the bed was put back on the lines won t hold air.
And overall reassembly several bolts were missing. When I took it back to be fixed I got the go away boy you bother me treatment.
If you want a great paint job. Come here. Anything else. Find someone else..
Great customer service and great paint work. I had a severely bad finished spoiler for my mustang, they worked wonders on it and for a great price! Couldnt be happier!
Galson is OUTSTANDING! I made the mistake of taking my car to another shop initially. My check engine light came on, so I stopped at the nearest mechanic. Ravi/Galson smashed their price by more than half and did the work promptly and professionally. Ravi, Roger, and John are golden. I always feel safe driving out of the Galson parking lot. And my car smells amazing too, lol!

Galson is my go to repair shop for auto body work and has been for about 10 years. Unfortunately, my son, 16 years old, was hit by another driver a few weeks ago. He helped me pick out his car and he was devastated. I was out of town when he called so I called Galson. Chris arranged for a tow and Chris along with Ravi made my wife and son feel great about the process. We just picked up his car and man what a great job they did. Not only did they fix the damage, but the car was buffed, cleaned and looked better than when I bought it. I can't recommend this company and this team enough.

In addition to doing all the maintenance work that my 2 regular cars need, they have done a majority of the work on my two collector cars. Communication always been good. Communication is the key to setting expectations between what I need and what services are provided. They have always been fair with me. I will continue to do business with this local family owned business.
Head of the shop swore at me after I requested he fix the poor quality work he did repairing the paint on my car. Extremely unprofessional when a manager of a company acts like a toddler.
I recently used Galson again (3rd time in 3 years) for some rust repairs my truck needed. Ravi is very straightforward and honest. I never felt pressured with any of the choices and every other employee there was the same. I dropped by a couple of times over a few months to get a quote and advice. Every time it was consistently good advice. Ravi took the time to go over options to save money, explain future issues that could arise, etc. Prices were very reasonable, the workmanship was fantastic and again every member of the staff I interacted with seemed to take pride in their job and dedicated to good customer service. I am very jaded on auto repair shops in general but Ravi and his crew have earned my respect and most importantly my business. I strongly recommend them!
I do not recommend at all this place. I was deceived .They did the work to me three times and it was never well done the people of the place are not professionals besides that between the owner and his employees do not agree that lie to say, and also to finish the last day there were two more people complaining about their bad work if I came to know this would not have brought my car ever.
The service was excellent being that it was my first time. This Auto repair companies came highly recommended. I will tell family n friends about the wonderful people. Had a decent sized dent on my trunk and had gone to another place that quoted me $630 for the repair so I decided to go elsewhere. Luckily I stopped by Galson and they were able to get their PDR guy to do it a lot quicker and for a fraction of the cost.

I have a 2010 CR-V that is opal sage metallic. In the past I have had trouble with body shops matching this color. I took my car to Galson body shop based on customer reviews. I could not be happier with the experience! The color match is perfect and their workmanship is top notch. They are very customer friendly and I felt their pricing was fair. Galson Auto & Body is impressive in every way. 1) Very fair, outstanding competitive bids. I got 5 bids, two reasonable, Galson and one other, but 3, all in Houston, were extremely high for the exact same repairs. The other competitive bid was out of town and would have required a car rental and 6 hrs driving. 2) The integrity and skills of Ravi and his crew are much appreciated. 3) Body repairs were quick but more importantly undetectable. Beautiful. 4) Needed shuttle service was cheerfully provided (Sam). 5) The whole establishment is impressive and the staff so skilled. Thank you. I am so grateful I was encouraged to get one more bid; it paid off in satisfaction.

I spoke with Chris a few days ago. Very honest and intelligible guy, I didn't get serviced from them, but I want to now, great service attitude. From meeting up with him, seems like they actually care about their customers. If I could rate this body shop 11/10 I would. I definitely recommend this body shop before going to any others! Come here for state inspection. Very professional people and know what they doing. Very big shop with bumper to bumper service include body work and mechanical works. I think the only thing that they not do is tire service. They do have the washing station probably for customer after service. Would recommend this location.

Every so often you come across an establishment that just completely sets itself above every other place you have been. Galson Auto & Body is such a place. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and honest. Every single person I interacted with took the time to make sure I was being taken care of and was fully informed. Seeing all the positive reviews I had high expectations I suppose. However that was not the case. Our Lexus had minor damage from being backed up into my truck and I was hoping to just pay out of pocket for the repair. Apparently Galson only wants to work with insurance companies and does not want to deal with cash customers. I was told several times that I should just file a claim. The estimator even suggested I commit insurance fraud by telling my insurance company it was a hit and run. It was especially clear to me that my cash business was not wanted when I was told it would take a "good two weeks" to perform the repairs. Sewell quoted me 4-5 days and ProCare Collision quoted me 3-5 days as well. Galson's estimate was very close to Sewell's price. ProCare and Sewell both treated me professionally and did not care if I paid cash or filed a claim.
Could not be more pleased. I have sent 2 of my cars there, Ravi, John, and the rest of the staff really went above and beyond to make sure i was happy. Definitely recommend them.

I am so glad a friend of mine referred me to this body shop! My truck was pretty banged up from an accident and the ordeal of it all was stressful. They walked me through what to expect with insurance and we discussed affordable parts and all. Ravi was so awesome and compassionate and I felt relieved leaving my truck in good, honest hands. Brittany was terrific to give me updates on status of repairs. They have been in business for 25 years? Wow! Good thing I have not needed body work! Now that I am aware of their auto shop next to the body shop, I will try it out for service work!
I contacted Galson Auto & Body after someone had run over a piece of tire and it had flown up and damaged the entire right side of my new truck. Needless to say I was very upset, but as soon as I got Galson Auto involved, things instantly got better.
They immediately got me into a rental vehicle and handled everything through my insurance company. The staff would call me to give me updates as the repairs were being completed and I could NOT be happier with how wonderful my truck looks now. Everything was handled very professionally and everyone was very nice and helpful. Ravi was great and always kept me in the loop. I will most definitely be going back for any future needs that arise.
