Nice atmosphere, the food was good, service was excellent.
I love this place. Great food and very nice setting. I love their breads. During the summer its a fab location
A few minutes walk from the Tudor Lodge B & B. Gastro public. The food was good too. Chicken salad, steak, today's fish dish, beer for Guinness, Smithwick, Heineken etc., 70 euros.
eat here recently got good service and nice food would recommend for a bar lunch
I was very satisfied. The food was excellent, the staff were courteous and efficient. The atmosphere was lovely and everywhere was immaculately clean.
We came here because our reservation at Gallagher's, nextdoor, was never received. Glad we did. Though they were full, the JP Clarke's staff very kindly secured a table for us upstairs. Our server was patient and helpful. The food looked More
Excellent food. Staff and covid 19 regulation respected at all time, including customer behaviour. Absolutely great experience.
Food was well worth the wait. Everything freshly made
Covid being adhered to. Good food. Curry a bit tasteless though
Met with a friend I'd not seen for some time. The ambience was welcoming and cozy. The food was exceptional as were the attentive waiting staff. Everything was spotless and even the exterior garden and flowers were immaculately tended to. I would rate our visit and experience as 'excellent'. Thank you for overall attention to detail. All of this professionalism added to the success of our reunion and evening. Yum yum . Will definitely return.
Very tasty, reasonable price and beautifully decorated with cosy atmosphere. Bit of an all rounder! Staff were nice too
Brilliant experience, place was very busy but the food still came quickly and the service and staff were impeccable, would definitely recommend.
We loved the pan fried fish which was Cooked and served very well. And the starters were also delicious and I couldn t finish writing this review without mentioning about the Cheesecake. It s definitely THE best cheesecake I ever had in my whole life. Ambience is quite and calm- amazing place for dinner with your loved ones. Staffs are very friendly. It s definitely one of the Must try places in Co Clare.
We revisited this venue over the music festival weekend and the food, service and friendliness of the staff was so much better than last year. Well done UP Clarke`s
We spent a lovely week in Ireland in March 2018 and stumbled across JP Clarke's during our final evening. It turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. The food was prepared just right and our bartender prepared special drinks that topped the trip off perfectly. Plus, the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Very Ireland but not noisy or too crowded. Just right! Highly recommend!!
We had dinner here. The food was excellent as was the service. We ordered from the set menu which had good prices. This place was recommended to us by the owner of the B&B we stayed at. Because it gets so busy there she made reservations for us. We're glad she did as the place was packed.
.. only for lunch. Very stylish! Friendly staff reasonable prices.
Wow
Lovely pub great atmosphere and fantastic staff and food.
What a lovely place! Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Mussels and fish plato much better than in some 5 star restaurants.
JPs is a busy, but cosy pub. Great for a good hearty meal, a light bite or just drinks with old friends. Nice modern/country pub feel. Staff are very friendly and attentive. If you are taking in the sights at Bunratty, make sure you drop into JPs.
Food great atmosphere fair, service partically poor. From the moment we stepped into the place we felt far from welcome. Our food did arrive in a speedy manor but when we ordered another glass of wine it was a no show. We were never asked how our meals were let alone if we wanted anything more to drink. Very disappointing.
Jp Clarkes - Have Delicious food -;I'd highly recomend you call in , eat & enjoy Marguerite
Excellent restaurant...saw a couple of not-great reviews here and thought that odd. I've been at least a dozen times, over many years, and never had a bad experience. If you're there while there's a match on, or some such, of course it will be busy. Consistently good food, friendly staff and a cozy interior. Can't go wrong, really.
Food was excellent, service excellent and reasonable priced, will be back
Lovley food, great table service and relaxing atmosphere, will definitely return. We had two starters as I couldn't choose between the pork belly bites and the garlic and white wine mussels, both to die for!!
Good place for outing. Nice selection of dishes. We tried the lunch set menu and we liked it
Stopped on our way to Galway for lunch. Fabulous food & friendly staff.
Used to be a really lovely place to eat but unfortunately standard of food has certainly fallen. Lovely setting and atmosphere though!
Long waits for seating and food when busy. Good food but small portions and no side dishes. Quite noisy when busy.
I always enjoy my food at JPs!
Any drinks you want and easy free parking too!
Lovely food at a reasonable price. Staff very nice.
Excellent food service a real treat.free parking would highly recommend this restaurant very child friendly
Great place to eat. Lovely food and really good staff. I love eating here.
Lovely food, clean place, great service, recommend highly
Fabulous food,excellent service,friendly helpful staff.Can highly recommend.
Extremely mindful of covid and absolutely compliant in all procedures. Despite this necessary disruption the place is operating like clockwork with very knowledgeable, perfectly polite and extremely pleasant staff. Felt very safe enjoying a meal here and the food was delicious! Very reasonably priced for the portions and quality of the food.
Very nice food excellent and staff couldnt do enough
Nice atmosphere very friendly staff and food excellent
Super delicious food, very attentive waiter and great cozy atmosphere.
Highly recommended
Great atmosphere for a Christmas dinners and try the duck, its fab.
Sunshine and friends for a lovely meal on a sunny afternoon
Great service, really friendly and chatty staff, superb food (I had the seafood plate)
Lovely fresh food and great service and excellent staff
Good food and pleasant staff with the exception of 1
A super great restaurant. Eating and drinking is highly recommended, we were also very satisfied with the service of the staff, everyone without exception friendly, our English is not the best now, which was not an obstacle.
Everyone loved their food and staff are very friendly. They were great with kids, giving them puzzles and colouring pads.
Excellent service. Good food and the set menus are good value for money.
A very nice restaurant with delicious food and very good service. Even when it was full you never felt like it was overcrowded.
The service was very efficient and pleasant .food was nice, all the staff were wearing masks and there were dividers and barriers between each table. Took contact number from us. Definitely recommend stopping for food there.
One of the best meals we had in a long time.. Great selection, presentation and taste. Average prices and very nice staff...
One od the best places we have eaten and I travelled a bit !!! The service was exceptional , food very delicious all surrounded by beautiful area of Bunratty village. We were very impressed by the staff . We had a table outside amazing decor , menu is very nicely done and prepared . I recommend anyone who pass by , to experience this!!! (I would give more stars as myself work in hospitality and truly was vas very nicely surprised )
My Husband and I stopped here for lunch today,on arrival no clear indication outside which door to enter. No Temperature reading taken, no contact details taken. Floor marking in place & hand sanitizers available on door entry & on bar counter.
Staff very friendly, I don't think the lunch which was Salmon or Beef at 17 Euros was not value for money,a piece of Salmon, with one potato croquette, and about 2 to 3 spoons of green peas & some olive's chopped up with onions and sauce on the side. No potatoes or other vegetable served. While the food was very tasty. We were both disappointed with the Lunch we got for for 17 Euros, while the Starters specials of sea bass & trout were 11 Euros.
We have dined here on a numerous occasions, and had a lovely meal, but today we left disappointed.
Best place to eat , comfy atmosphere, nice and clean , nice staff , love chowder there
Good dishes. They did not give me the impression of being particularly welcoming with the foreign tourist but overall it is a nice place to eat well.
