Went here last March with a buddy for a work trip, fell in love with this place. Coming from Texas these burgers were outta this world, amazing. Keep up the good work!!!!
The owner's customer service, sense of humor, and people skills add to the alure of the restaurant. Great food and great people!
The absolute best burgers in Nashville! And the customer service is always amazing; such a warm and inviting atmosphere!
Three stars due to the place being dirty and a bit run down. The food was okay. Fries taste like Five Guys but more reasonably priced. The burgers are over hyped. They taste like a burger you d get from your neighbor s summer barbecue. Two double cheese burgers and one fry for two people is $27. Something to keep in mind. Wouldn t go back but at least we tried it.
Great burger! Great fries! Smiles for miles! This place was a great find. I will definitely recommend this place to friends.
Cute and quirky place that makes you feel like you left Nashville. Open just a short time most days but worth a trip. I love the fries!
Not paying for the Environment but you are getting one hell of a burger.
Bathrooms are strangely small but amazing food an obviously an iconic place to eat.
This is the number one burger joint in Nashville, hands down!
Nice little hole in the wall place. Wasn't busy at all when I went which is great. I ordered the January special burger, which was a burger topped with BBQ pulled pork and coleslaw. This seemed like an interesting combination, so I wanted to try it. The burger came out quickly and it was really good. The fries were also good and tasted like fresh potatoes. There were also several condiments there. I tried the ranch and the spicy ketchup. The ranch was surprisingly fresh, buttermilk ranch. The keptchup also tasted like it was made in-house. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. My top two burger restaurants are Pharmacy Burger and now Gabby's. The burgers are different so it's hard to compare them, but both are excellent.
Great burgers, and the staff is always awesome. The Buns come apart easily, so have plenty of napkins on hand.
Definitely worth heading here for a burger, fries and milkshake. Can get really busy, so show up early or during off hours to avoid the lines.
Fast service, great burger and fries, sweet potato fries so-so, chocolate shake had icy crystals in it. Friendly staff! Would come again
Great little hole in the wall to grab a good burger and fries. The family who owns it is really nice.
Without a doubt the best burger in town. The ingredients are top notch without the stuffy attitudes that you see at some of the "upscale" burger places around town. The building is a bit of a hole in the wall but that is part of the charm. The staff is friendly and talkative and they seem to genuinely enjoy their job. Check their hours before you go they are not normally open for dinner but it is worth finding the time to make it there when they are open. Top choice of burger in Nashville.
Amazing as always, best burger in Nashville, without reproach.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! the burgers are the best, fries are amazing, and service is wonderful. The t-shirts are one of a kind and everyone needs one
Had good service even durning the rush for a small space . Burgers are always good .
As always, Gabby's was great! Crowded as expected, but got a seat just as the food was ready, just as it should be. Doug was even manning the griddle on a Saturday.
Gabby s is one of the best, if not the best burger in Nashville. It is also popular and often crowded at lunch. While the burgers are great, the atmosphere is also fun. The restaurant is small so sometimes you will wait for a table.
If you are only going to have one burger in Nashville, Gabby s is the place to go.
Best burger place I know! The fries are phenomenal!
Fantastic food!! Little expensive but, well worth the money and the trip!! Best burger I've ever had!! Will be going back one day for sure!! I give it 10 stars
Weird hours but the burgers, milkshakes, and fries are phenomenal if you find the time to make it in!
Mogi kept everything clean and personally seated us during a super busy time! I had never been before, but will certainly be returning! The food was AMAZING everyone did such a great job with as many customers as they had in such a small area! Street and parking lot are free, quiet surroundings !
Best lunch burger in Nashville. Super high quality ingredients. Skilled cooks. Superior customer service. Creative menu! Secret menu too!
I'm a chocolate girl but man do they have an amazing vanilla shake!! Their food is AMAZING! Every time I crave a burger now I want a Gabby's burger!
Sit at the counter by the prep station and eat so you can banter back and forth with the staff.
Top quality grass fed burgers. Sweet potato fries, shakes, good honey mustard. Only open for lunch I think, can get busy. Awesome burger !!
Great burgers and sweet potato fries. Small local place that can get busy at lunchtime so be prepared but it s worth the wait.
Fun little off the path place with excellent food and even better milkshakes! Best milkshake I've had in years!
This is one of Nashville s few can t miss burger joints. I d recommend doing all the topping options! The milkshakes are solid too.
Quite possibly the best burger in Nashville. Shakes ain't bad either.
Gabby's is the best burger in Nashville despite the debate. Get there early if eating there for both parking and a table.
I hate to be that guy but I have to give 1 star. After reading the reviews and the signs above the cook station that bloats how great they are I had to try it. Sadly I was VERY disappointed. Long line, no where to sit, soggy fries, soggy burger that had a greasy flavor and not in a good way. Maybe I just went on an off day but it was not a good experience.
Edit: I am changing this to 5 stars because an employee, not the owner reached out to me on Instagram, not here which is awesome, and apologized and offered to make it right. Now I see why they are a local favorite. Awesome customer service
I really like the burgers here. They're filling, but not heavy or super greasy. So delicious!
It was okay. The fries were so overcooked there wasn't any substance in them, just extra crispy potato sticks.
The burger was okay. I had the Seamus. Again, overcooked but not as much as the fries.
Kind of pricey for a cheeseburger and fries about $11:50 for a regular single
Best Burger place in Nashville, the atmosphere felt like an at home barbecue
Amazing!! Great food, Great service!! Cutest little guy working there named Tyler!!
Best burger, basically a hole in the wall with great testing burgers
We happened to stumble across this restaurant on a trip to see relatives. I'm glad we did! The staff was SO friendly and the burger I ordered was great. The restaurant is family owned and it is true to its apparent drive for excellence. I definitely recommend swinging by and giving it a shot. Also you'd be supporting a family owned local business.
Everyone was so nice and the food was delicious! Best decision we've made in a long time
Friendly staff and great burgers. Only complaint is they have short hours.
They have great burgers and very friendly staff. Very busy around 11:30 to 12:45. Overall a great place. Came from out of town to try it, well worth it.
Simple burgers that are executed expertly. The wall of sauces is cool but where is the Crystal hot sauce?
Hand cut fries, the Seamus burger is really tasty and filling. A fun staff that takes great care you. They'll see me again!!!
Friendly service and good value prices for quantity and quality
The food here is delicious. Love the sweet potatoe fries with the chipotle ketchup. The fruit tea is pretty good and the semus burger wrapped in lettuce is tasty! People should experience at least once.
Hours can be hard to navigate but if you can you have to go here. Such a cool little place with rock solid burgers and fries.
Great sweet potato fries. Burger was solid but could have used a better bun.
A required visit everytime I am in Nashville. Friendly staff, delicious burgers, and tasty shakes. Even though I've only been here 3 times in the past 4 years, I've learned to arrive early to avoid the lines.
Not a bad burger very tender but could use a bit more flavor. Home made fries are delicious but both I and a friend got mostly tidbit size fries, much too small to dip in ketchup with your fingers. It certainly is a place to try. I'll come again. First Responders and Service Members get a discount, be sure to ask!
Gabby's is fantastc!! The burgers are made to order, juicy and tasty. The added treat were the Sweet Potato fries...AMAZING... Fresh, not frozen potatoes!! Cooked to perfection, sweet and dense cooked with the skin on which results in naturally carmelized fries with a bit of charred skin. Ingenious and so delicious!!
Always a great burger and the sweet potato fries are my favorite
Best burgers in town. Hands down. Don t think twice about it.
The burgers here are delirious, and not to mention HUGE in size. Excellent customer service every time I go. MUY DELISIOSO!
Hands down, THE best burger in Nashville. You MUST get the fruit tea. Sweet potato fries are delicious as well as regular fries. The Seamus burger is plenty & the Gabby burger is a lot of meat. Friendly employees. And if there's a line (& there usually is), it's worth the wait!
Excellent place to eat. Food is fresh and amazing. If you want great food and service without the crowd or fighting traffic downtown then I highly recommend here. I had the atomic burger which had just the right amount of heat to it and the grilled cheese. Hands down a great place to eat.
Great Nashville burger joint. Chalked full of nostalgia and delicious goodness.
Very pleased with my Coreen burger and chocolate shake.
Do yourself a favor. If you're in Nashville, stop by Gabby's and order The Big CC Dog for the best chili cheese dog you'll find.
Burgers were good, visited from outta town and the place was very welcoming
