Gabby's Burgers & Fries Review

Its my favorite little burger stop in all of Tennessee. Stop in and try something. I've only heard good things about Gabby's. Top notch.

I got a mushroom Swiss burger and sweet potato fries. Get the wasabi mayo!!! It goes so well with the fries!!!

Best burgers in town. The secret menu items are really good too. I always get what amounts to a patty melt and its been cooked perfectly every time. Chili is great too. If you order chili cheese fries, try to share them because they will give you a mountain of the things.

It's alright.... nothing special. REALLY crowded and disorganized at lunch time. Looonng wait. Wasn't impressed and was underwhelmed considering all the 5 star reviews. Bobbie's Dairy Dip burgers are better!

If you want a great burger, come here. They use grass fed beef for all of their burgers. They have chicken sandwiches. They do hot dogs as well. While you're there, check out the secret menu. It's in a silver briefcase that's mounted to the wall. Here's a preview: Bacon Burger Dog. It's a burger patty, with bacon, and a hot dog all crammed between a bun. It is absolutely one of the best meals I have ever had. Doug, the owner, is a truly wonderful human being. He is super nice and loves to joke around with the customers.

The best grilled cheese ever! Triple-decker with 5 slices of your choice of cheese and any toppings you d like at no additional charge. The fresh cut fries were great, too.

I've been going there for years. The food came out quicker than I expected, and it tasted divine. It was served in a timely manner, nice and hot. I'll be back for sure. It's a must try!

Love finding the local dives! This place is a must stop! One of the best simile little cheeseburgers I've ever had. Couldn't eat ALL the French fries given, and the staff was a joy to talk with a joke around with! Good bless this family for their little spot. Loved every bit of it! Get there early, line out the door by 12:30.....

Came here after seeing the good reviews online as we are from out of town and was searching for a local place to eat for lunch.

Burgers were amazing! So yummy and meat was well cooked too. Try the hot dogs - delicious!

The milkshake and burger were awesome but the fries could have been cooked longer.

Drove 30 minutes to only find they had closed early because someone doesn t know how to order enough food to stay open.

SO impressed with this restaurant! The shake was amazing, as they make their own syrups. It appears they cut their fries themselves and they were the best I've ever had! The burgers we got were perfect and to top it all off the staff was great. Next time we're in Nashville we'll make it a point to go back!

In a town full of ultra "bougie" food - which isn't always a bad thing, mind you - but not being a super fancy guy, Gabby's is a breath of fresh air. The staff are unpretentious and friendly and Gabby's burgers and fries are some of the best in Nashville (my personal favorite). Kudos to Doug and staff for "doing you", because it's awesome

A Nashville institution! This place makes incredible, delicious, and health conscious food at an affordable price. This is one of the best burgers in Nashville. Also the sweet potato fries are THE BEST I've ever had.

Great burger, my burger fell apart because it's made fresh and not clumped together then pressed and frozen. I was happy that it fell apart because I was able to try the meat without any toppings and it was juciy and tasted awesome! Fries are good and it's a fast, casual spot all should try!

This place never disappoints. A very "cozy" place where you can't help but make a new friend. I'm working my way around the menu so I haven't had the same thing twice. If you don't know ya gotta go! Try what ya like you won't be disappointed!

Been coming to Gabbys for lunch at least once a month for about 10 years and I've never had a bad experience there. Once in all that time they made an error on a sandwich and they made it right immediately.
I usually get the BLT, chicken burger or the Seamus (bacon swiss version) and they are always the best. Jacob & Margaret made me a bacon swiss Seamus this week and it was the best burger I've ever had there. Their BLT is the best I've had anywhere and the chicken burger (grilled breast fillet) is awesome too. Can't beat their fries either, sweet or regular.
Ordering tip: Get the grilled bun, white or wheat,

Gabby's is the best possible grain fed burger I've ever had. But make sure you come really hungry if you order the "Gabby Burger".

This burger joint kicks butt!! Great menu full of delicious traditional burgers and sandwiches at a great price.. They offer various kinds of fries, dipping sauces & hot sauces, as well as sodas, teas and fountain drinks.. The young folks who run this place are wonderful people and they ll quickly bring a smile to your face while you wait your food.. Located just across the street from the abandoned Greer Stadium, Gabby s is close enough to town that it s conveniently located but it s all tucked away so you ll find it totally private and low key.. Full disclosure, I actually had a chicken sandwich not a burger, but everyone with me had burgers and LOVED them!! All in all, this is a great spot for lunch and a must-visit while in Nashville!

Went for the Chili burger left thinking it was ok. Chili lacked flavor and punch but the burger patty was pretty good. I'll go back from a more classic burger and update my review after that. Friendly and fun staff.

OK but doesn't hold a candle to Double Dogs or Melrose. Plus, it's out of the way with extremely limited parking and seating. Won't be going back any time soon.

These had to be the best burgers and sweet potato fries I've ever had! You must stop here when in Nashville! It's crowded, and a bit tight due to a small facility, but totally worth the wait!

I had 45 minutes to grab lunch in Nashville and this place popped up, and I lucked out! I am a huge burger fan and I was really racking my brain to think of a better burger that I had had. The burgers are humongous, the meat is very high quality and the fries are great. Very solid choice if you are in the mood for a burger.

Simply a solid burger joint. I can't say I've had a better burger in Nashville.
