Some of the guys working in this company are inconsidering,unprofessional and carrying bad attitude with their position. Professionalism is just a joke for them. Worst receptionist ever seen in my life. So rude and unprofessional.

This company discriminates people with service dogs. Just because some people have service dogs it doesn t mean they can t do the job. There are a lot of people here that have a service dog for emotional support, or even anxiety attacks. By far the worst thing I have heard a company do.

The lady on Reception is unprofessional and very rude.

Trash company, worked for these guys for 10 years, no appreciation.. Don't even bother with this company, there are better ones out there. They won't even back you, if you ever need them. Low pay as well compared to other companies.

Very nice experience, was being helped from the beginning starting from the interview, the management is very helpful and listens to concerns of the employees and helps the employees in figuring out the solutions, I was recruited by Miss Tasneem Rangwala, she helped me a lot even after recruiting me, was very attentive and replied to calls and emails in very short period of time.

I visited G4 s office in North York and the Receptionist at front desk was so rude,don t know how to talk and so unprofessional behaviour. She don t have any answer to any queries. She thinks herself as the BOSS of company .Worst experience ever.

Honestly the receptionist is rude. Being a receptionist for a security company she is rude. The most important thing in security field is customer service but your receptionist has none. She ain t even polite and respectful.

Leading agency but unable to provide huge employment.

Overrated company. Would have given 0 if it was possible. Unprofessional recruiter, don t wanna say her name. Before hiring they would waste your time in too long unpaid orientations. Strongly recommend not to apply. Even go to other small companies where u can get some respect.

I have recently joined G4S and Miss. Tasneem Rangwala has assisted me in interviews and placement. From the first day, she was very helpful, polite, professional, and respectful. I felt keener to join G4S after my first interview with her. She replied to my calls and emails promptly and helped me with everything. I really appreciate that. I have been working with other companies, but this company and its staff are great; they are responsible, well managed, and professional. G4S offers excellent opportunities and placements for its employees. I highly recommend it.

the amount of reviews from this company says it all .... its so poorly run ... its almost a joke. Professionalism ? at G4s is practically non existent.
They hire with out having sites available lol ??????? why hire people if you don't have work ?

Honestly dont waste you're time here super unorganized and they only want you to work downtown even though you tell them you want a scarborough location they lie to you but end up forcing you to work somewhere that is nowhere near you at the training session they throw a 80% exam at you also so beware

It doesn't matter whether u get job or not but at least try to deal in a good way ..

Horrible company. Wouldn't reccomend anyone to work for them. Management is a joke and so are all the staff. Union does not help with anything which doesnt benefits them. Don't waste your time. Apply elsewhere. Unless you wanted to be treated like trash!

Super unprofessional. No respect for time. They had a candiadte sit on a chair for close to 2 hours before taking the interview. The interviewer said he was too busy...well how come you dont inform candidates that you are overbooked and it will take almost 2 hours! Truely pathetic for such a large company. They need to revamp their human resources staff. I would never hire this company for security services as they lack professionalism. There was no apology from their side.

Not worth the trouble! You're better off working at McDonald's instead. They under-pay you with high stress garbage client work sites. Hardly any decent places to work, most of their clients suck. They are cheap with contracts and what they pay to their employees for it.

Just another run-of-the-mill company actually, that is far more disorganized than how highly it boasts itself as being one of the top names in the industry. Another joke of a company disguising itself with fake hype. You can get easier, steady work at smaller companies and get by without all of the unnecessary burdens that are there with companies like this.

Receptionist is too rude. Even scheduler don t know how to talk with guard. Never ever they solve the problem of guard. Never inform when they cancel schedule. They do like what they want.

Here i will talk about their commercial recruiter Rukaiya Habib. She is so unprofessional and unfair. She does not even know how to react on refusals. May be company will get better if they fire her.

I worked for G4S for a year or so and it has humbled me to be able to serve others I've learned safety precautions and how to secure areas and yet also respect people of all backgrounds. I have also grown to be patient and more understanding of when people go through alarms and have better than able to assist in whatever situations that may arise. While I work here and on many different sites I approached the work that I did without entitlement but with thankfulness to always continually learn and to respect those around me.

Company has over 618,000 employees (2015) world wide. They have a ton of contracts which you can work under. They are divided into Residenial and Commercial sites. Great pay $13 hourly starting on most sites with benefits to support your entire family.

worse company i have ever worked with in my entire life. They have no sense of professionalism ..they are rude and non flexible . i would never recommend anyone to join.

The schedulers Ryan Khalid Krish are unbiased, always happy to help and fair people. However, if you ever face an issue on site, do not expect your area manager or HR to side with you. As long as you ve had zero trouble on your site, G4S is good in terms if pay, sites provided and shifts.

Good company to work for! Never force you to accept extra shift. I was recruited by Munazha Mahfooz, she helped me a lot from hiring, interview,documentation and training process. She always replied to email or message at any time for any problem. She always help the employee on reaching their potential. She is very polite, helpful and professional.

everyone is saying bad about receptionist but the truth is Everyone is doing their job . We must never 'JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S Cover'.

Have been working in security field. The staff at front desk wasn t polite. She behaved as if she didn t wanna do what she s doing! You never hear back when we enquire there! Bad experience! Staffs seemed irresponsible!

Very irresponsible company, never picks the call . you have to wait for 1 hour for them to pick the call

Worked 7 years with them, good times but with all big companies it really depends who your area managers are.

This company is WORST they will hire you with false promises and will never give you the site which they promised you while hiring.their branch at Toronto are full of actors.supervisors don't know how to talk with LADIES.my supervisor insulted me infront of other employees.
They will treat you like a puppets.you CANNOT select the site of your own choice.sometimes they will make you travel from one end to other just for 11 dollars per hour and they will give just two hours shift.NOT RECCOMENDED.

G4S has well managed team of staff and management ... Especially Ms Laura has a great potential of handling guards, sites and managements. G4S offers good oppurtunities and placements. Highly recommended.

Worst company to work with ....right from the receptionist to the area manager, HR nobody have sense of professionalism, nobody knows how to deal with their employees, don t care about their employee needs or H&S at all.
You will never get a genuine answer for your concerns , rather they will try to put you down. If you ask for your rights you will be almost tortured verbally , they take advantage of international students as they are are new to the country.

I wish there is a helpline where their management can be reported.

Beware innocent people.

We have G4S in our condo building in downtown Toronto and while a couple of their guards are very good, I have experienced the majority as incredibly unprofessional.

1. Recently owners notified an evening security guard that there was somebody attempting to break into the back entrance to our building and gave him a description of that person. Instead of following up on this properly the guard decided to go on a smoke break (I personally witnessed this), while the intruder was actually inside our building trying to find things to steal. The intruder then exited the building later, completely unnoticed. Our security desk has monitors covering our entire building, but they don't help if the employee doesn't use them.

2. Another time recently an owner called the police about a security incident and this same guard sent the police away when they arrived and did not inform the owner that the police had arrived.

3. In yet another recent situation a third shift guard was found to be letting his strange friends in to sleep in our building's party room overnight on multiple occasions.

4. I have a Nest security camera in my home which allows me to watch anything going on in my unit while I'm not there. Early last year my partner and I were out of town when an inspection was being done in units in our building. The technician who came into our unit was accompanied by a female G4S employee. While the inspector checked a connection in the laundry room by our front door, we watched in real time while the security guard nosed around in our belongings in our kitchen and even went off camera into the part of our unit where our bedroom is. There was absolutely no reason for her to have moved away from the front door, much less decide to snoop around all over our place. Given the fact that G4S has keys to access units, we now leave our Nest Cam on anytime we are not at home because we don't trust that our space is actually safe with some of their employees on site given the stunts we have seen them pull.

Our building has also seen an increase in attempted break-ins and thefts over the last several months. I can't imagine why.

WROST COMPANY EVER! Has No respect for you re time.
