I have been in Columbia for 25 yrs and G&D Steakhouse was and still is the place. The family who runs this place are wonderful. I'm talking when the 2 son's was cooking and chopping it up with customers. Mom and dad was cool. I can go on for days. Food is delicious!! Love it here!!
FANTASTIC. First word that came to mind! Every visit is uniformly excellent. The food is delicious, the prices VERY reasonable. The service is TOP SHELF. From the time i walked in, Im sitting with an excellent meal within 8-10 minutes. If you are kinda a loner, want a simple, high quality experience with a minimum of hassle? THIS IS YOUR STEAK JOINT.
Great little restaurant. Very good food. Reasonably priced. Very attentive. I'll be sure to go again next time I'm in the area.
I-70 is full of surprises. We were 10 miles away from G&D Steakhouse when I pulled-out steakhouse near me through the maps. They were 15 minutes before opening but they picked up when I called. We are just looking for a quick bit but craving for steak. We put gas first the. Went to pick up our orders and it was ready! I loved how they packed the salad and potatoes separately from the steak. With just one container.
I wasn't sure about what we'd experience when we drove up. Not much to look at from outside ... definitely looked more like fast food than steakhouse, but with the reviews what they are, we decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Friendly staff and good food. We'll be back!
One of my favorite local spots to eat in Columbia! The entire staff works hard and gets your order going the second you are in the door. The wait staff is always close by. Delicious food; the meat is so tender and all the sides are high quality. You can get anything on the menu and know you will get something amazing!
This is a small hole in the wall place you gotta try! It's a fast casual style place with really good steak. I had the 20oz top serlion and damn I loved it!
Always an incredible meal with outstanding service! If you are thinking about steak and going to Texas Roadhouse, pull into the parking lot and go visit this local joint for far better service and food. We stop here every time we are through from Saint Louis to Kansas City, even the kids love it and ask for it. Consistency and quality all the time!! Can't beat the steaks, and especially the steak sandwich or philly! Thanks G&D!

Service was good, Food was amazing, not too long of a wait, and overall it felt like a nice small town restaurant that has food that tastes fresh and well cooked! I highly recommend.
