Has quite a wide selection of food and the prices are good value. You will need to be a member to get in but you can sign up on the spot. Has events quite often and a lot of people spend their nights at the in house bar

Overall a nice casino. Plenty parking, good variety of play, slot machines. Just a shame they don't have a smart dress code, that's the only minus.

Ok for a night out, our food was not good at all and took over an hour to be served, so will not be eating there again, but the staff are friendly and cocktails are fabulous

My own experiences tell me that Grosvenor Casino is only out to take your money in a big way. A great place to experience daylight robbery. Does not respect the gambling man

Had s really lovely meal. Nice staff and well cooked and good value food. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Food is nice, we go in there before we go to the pictures for our meal.

Well first visit post lockdown and not very impressed.
So the poker was advertised for 7pm , I arrived at 6.45 only to be told by what can only be described as bewildered staff it's an 8pm start ! .
Staff member who welcomed me at the door explained I had to wear a mask (which he provided ) if I was wandering around the casino but would not have to wear it whilst at the table , he was a nice fella and top Mark's for him.
However the confusion started whilst sat at the poker table when another staff member (I think he was attempting to run the poker ) barked out orders that masks had to be worn whilst at the tables , after being met with a response from fellow poker players that we was informed only when wandering around we had to wear a mask he duly marched off to I presume find a more senior staff member to confirm.
On his return he seemed to exert great pleasure in forming us he was right .
I get it we all have to do our bit to combat this but please make the rules clear to your members .
Anyway to the game, it became quite clear early on the dealer we had seemed to have no clue how much to rake from each pot , I can only presume she deals in tournaments not cash, the game had to be stopped a few times for the mathematical players on the table to point out where the young lady had mistakenly taken too much .
Later on in the evening one of the security guards could be heard barking at a member to put a mask on , The guy was simply standing watching the poker and not as we was told wandering ! .oh and for the record the security was not himself wearing a mask whilst barking to the member .
Overall in my opinion this casino is no where near ready to host poker and the following points below are only my opinion.
1- Perhaps put the 2 cash tables in the same part of the casino as when players need to rebuy we do not have the dealers asking members to get staff from the poker room for them.
2- Ensure cash dealers understand the rake and we dont have to show our hands on an all in .
3- Work on communication is required between staff members.
I hope senior staff read and act upon this review because I'm sure in these unprecedented times they would want things to run smoothly and make the experience of one where members would like to return.
I travelled over 60 miles to play and I will not be returning to that particular casino to play until tournaments are up and running again and let's hope by then things have improved.

Very good poker room. I was on holiday and met the poker room manager Jamie. He runs a good friendly and well structured show.

A fairly terrible casino, made bearable by watching coked up chavs losing money.
How the staff cope with the cretins who give them abuse for things like "not spinning the roulette wheel properly" or not selling "proper stella" still amazes me and they should be commended.

Always a fab atmosphere.

Worth visiting at least once to see if you like it!

The place was very clean and tidy, staff were welcoming and helpful with our staff party and food was delicious!!!

Once I went down to the tables, staff were very helpful explaining any rules I wasn't aware of and running me through it, and they were so friendly and happy, and had a great laugh and conversation with them! The Italian gentleman was especially lovely!

All in all an amazing evening, ill be surely coming back down with friends on another occasion!

Meal was lovely but thought the drinks a little bit expensive..

I had an experience a while back with a rude cashier and have not been back there out of my own will. I only go there under duress

I love this place, always feel comfortable here and a place to go on your own. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are helpful & polite; lots to do even if you don't want to gamble and when they have live acts they never disappoint.

Have always enjoyed my experiences here, good restaurant, and a fair selection of games to catch your attention. My own personal choice of game is the 4 card poker table, that is like a magnet for me.

New Year's Eve party. It was great. No trouble and really friendly and helpful staff.

I go here every now and then and have never had any issues. I play and whether I win or loose I really enjoy nights spent here. Last night, I won quite a bit and was probably more jovial than usual. When I went to the cashier, I cracked a joke with the guys there - as I always do. Unfortunately there was this Asian guy there who told me to keep my jokes to myself although others found the joke funny - the joke was not aimed at him or anyone else, it was a joke about me taking all their money that night because I was winning so much. I don't think that guy should be allowed to work with the public or if it's the shifts that gets him down, he should get a normal 9-5 job.

Well run and smart casino with a good restaurant and bar.

Excellent relaxed atmosphere, and came out winning.

I love this place, the only thing they should do, is concentrate a bit more on customers playing machines and not on the tables, as we wait absolutely ages to be offered a drink. That's not me moaning, it's a little advice and will make it a 5 star lol

Nice bar and facilities so worth a visit if you are in Essex.

My experience was not good on a Friday the fruit machines stopped working and the staff did not want to reset them as he was about to Finnish work. Also I had 2 drinks stolen from the table outside the fruit machine area because you can not take them in. Will not be going back there.

Rude dealer behind the roulette table. Wouldn't let me and my partner sit together and said if my parter wanted to play I would have to go sit at the bar and leave her to play. Table was at 3 players already so I said i wouldn't play just watch and she still refused me to sit down near the table. I get there are new rules due to current climate however its no different to the 4 people already around the table. No offer of opening up another table for us to play on either
