The place is NOT good. It is a very small and enclosed place. It was hot to die that did not let you sleep and to use the air conditioning for 1 day, they wanted to charge 5 euros for people in the room. In my room we were 5 that is 25 euros per day to use the air conditioning. Crazy. Also, if someone refuses to pay, you get it to bank. The only good thing is that they make you the bed. I would never go back

One of the cleanest hostels with good service in Rome, I was taken care of by an Asian boy I think, he gave me a free towel and even a bottle of wine for the end of the year parties
I strongly discourage this hostel that is not really one.
My only desire to discover the place was to flee.
First, the reception of the hostel is composed of a plastic table in the middle of a laundry room.
Then you can only pay in cash and the city tax is more expensive than it needs to be.
Then there is no common area or even kitchen. There is only one bathroom / toilet for the entire floor.
The room smelled of pesticides to kill ants and other insects. (Products that you can see elsewhere in the bathroom.)
The insulation between the rooms, but also the bathroom / toilet is non-existent. You can hear everything as if we are next.
Finally, the beds are actually sofa beds of poor quality, because you can feel all the springs.
Finally, the property left clearly to be desired I have never seen a pillow so dirty.
It's inside the laundry mat/internet computer cafe. Welcoming staff. Confusing entry, which isn't reassuring. (Not well labeled). Clean bathrooms and rooms. Towel included, hot water (eventually). Neat, quirky place to stay that is quite affordable.
It was ok. The staff was helpful. The room was adequate. The bathroom was ok - would have loved it if the shower was connected to the wall rather than having to hold the wand. It was clean. I never saw another one of the guests. They were all asleep early and woke up very early. The breakfast was also ok. I don't have any complaints. I just think my expectations were very high based on all the high ratings I saw. I didn't receive any wine like others did.
Nice place staff is helpful and nice they receive you with wine, the reception is also a cafe, laundry place separated from the rooms. Rooms are clean and very decent.
Amazing staff, very kind, helpful and available if needed. They showed us what was the most efficient way to visit the city and offered a bottle of wine and a free upgrade for the room !
My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend in February and we got a double private with a shared bathroom. It was absolutely fantastic from the get go! WE CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW AMAZING THIS PLACE IS. For a hostel it was great. Kind of interesting checking in at the laundromat, but the guy met us and checked us in, gave us coupons to local places, Went through all sorts of day plans and maps and things to do and lots of suggestions, and even gave us a bottle of wine! It was super nice and totally unnecessary. When we asked about using a printer and how much it would cost because we needed to print a boarding pass out they surprisingly offered it for free seeming surprised we thought it would cost money. The room was very nice, had lots of cute paintings and accents, bathroom was clean and of very high caliber. Overall we were so impressed and so grateful for this place! The location is also perfect being so close to Termini and within walking distance of everything if you are willing to walk!
Not a hostel. Just some dude renting out rooms with heaps of beds in an apartment from a laundromat. Be fine if it was just to crash the night before a flight. Weird vibe
Awesome hostel. Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. Free bottle of wine with your stay (of at least 2 guests). Excellent tour advice tailored to the duration of your stay in Rome.
Very nice hostel right in the middle of Rome. The main train station is very close. The rooms are nothing to special but the owner is a really nice guy who gave us loads of good tips for our trip. Would definitely come here again for the next trip to Rome.
I visited rome with my sister and we stayed at funny palace. The hostel is quite close to the railway station and the host is extremely friendly and helpful. He strategically explained to us all the places we could visit in 2 days and it was very helpful for us to plan and view some beautiful places. We were also provided with a map by him and he welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine! He even upgraded us to a nice private room with AC and gave us coupons for discount on food in Andreas restaurant which is quite near. The room and bathroom was clean, the place was easily accessible and the service was great. Thanks to funny palace we had an amazing time in Rome and wish to visit Rome soon. I definitely recommend this place to people who wish to stay in Rome on a budget.
Feels much more like a hotel. Good rooms, good bathroom, good heating system. Got a wine upon entrance. Discount on a restaurant, free breakfast and assistence to what to see and how to sightsee.
Solid hostel, but there is no kitchen and on the second day there was no water in the morning. But for 11.50 you can not complain. The breakfast was fine
Of the cheap hotels that are in the area, this is the best. The staff is friendly, no, the following, they speak Spanish and the rooms are clean and much more modern than in the other hotels. As it was my birthday they gave me a bottle of wine and the first night they put me in a superior room at no extra cost. The area, being in the north of termini is not as bad as in the south, I stayed alone and I was not afraid. Many thanks to the employees for the, kindness. I recommend it totally.
I booked a private room which is important to know. Through that option it felt much more like a budget hotel than a hostel. Like most reviews mention, there was no common space which is unusual for a hostel. The employees at the place were great with suggestions for the holiday time and the free pastry and coffee were a nice way to start the day. The rooms were spacious and the beds were surprisingly comfortable (for my taste). The only reason they don t get 4 stars is because the term hostel doesnt really apply here
Mabri was amazing. The guy planned our whole Rome expeirence around the time we had in the city. Gave us tips, and tricks, as well all the most efficient ways to get around and see all the sights we wanted in time. The rooms are very clean and modern. The hostel also comes with a free breakfast from a beautiful local cafe around the corner and a 10% discount at a fabulous little Italian restaurant half a block from the hostel. 10/10 would recommend
