Fukuroku Sushi Review

I've been coming to this place off and on for years. Decent food at decent prices. That about sums it up.

Great japanese restaurant with decnt price and size. Only down thing is, this place is open from noon to 6pm.

This is such a small place, not fancy but their sushi is easily one of the best in Richmond

Not horrible but not great. If you're already in Richmond there's 100 better place to go. This place left much to be desired.

The pricepoint is very reasonable, service was fast and friendly, and it was incredible!!!

no crab in the sushi it was cheap and food came fast tho but the veggi rolls are good the bathroom smelt so bad and the tables were sticky and the vibe is nit very welcoming

For the last 2 years, my UX design team always order sushi from them when we have a team lunch celebration. They are able to deliver to us because we're within the 5 km radius, but they have never disappointed in service, speed of delivery, and quality of food. We always ordered their sushi party trays, takoyaki, tempura, etc. Thank you for accommodating us!

Worst SUSHI I've ever had!! They charge $4+ for rolls and barely put any fish in it. They put MAYONNAISE in my spicy tuna roll. I nearly spat it out thinking the fish went bad. If you're going to eat here, get the hot food. The curry was amazing and I'm sure their Don bowls and teriyaki is good. Will never go here for sushi again.

Ordered the Deluxe Sushi Party Tray for take out. The sushi is not high end sushi, but it is still fresh which made it pretty good. Wish it can be bigger though, we were able to finish it with 2 people.

Ordered 3 rolls and waited 30 minutes for them. 1 person I'm front of me. Sushi was ok but definitely not worth the wait.

Food is good for what you pay. However I was rushed out at 7:50pm and was told that they are closed at 7:30pm. Perhaps they should update their signs as it shows 8pm everywhere.

Cheat, convenient, don't have to pay tip, relatively good food.

Great price and great food! Very fresh & yummy sushi.

A cafeteria style sushi place. Place was clean and had simple decor. Service was good and quick (we got our order within minutes). Sushi tasted good, edible. If you looking for simple good sushi and you in the area, this is a good spot. They close early though (Just a note).

Only one person in the kitchen. All the hot food went cold after too long wait. Quality went down.

It does have a few seats if you want to sit down and eat.
However, as the name implies, you're better off grabbing something for take out.

A go to for the family if we want something quick, cheap, and easy. The noodle set is an awesome deal.

The sushi, salmon nigiri, and prawn tempura are surprisingly good here! There are no waiters at Fukuroku, so you need to order food at the front, take it to your table, and return your tray after you're done.

Good meal at a great price! Also a great place to get party sized sushi trays!

I would give it a 3.5 cheap food, but you do pay for what you get. Their sushi is alright very spacious inside.

Did not want to deliver my order just because im over the bridge from them. Within their 5km radius. Only 3 km away. 10 minute drive. Not happy about that.

I've easily eaten in this place more than any other Vancouver spot during 2010-2019. Of course things have been different in 2020. The takeout menu has the favorites - the currys, dons, and udons - but it's a nice place to take a break from the Richmond shopping and traffic on errand day. When the pandemic ends this will prob be the first place I have a meal inside.

This place never disappoints. I have spent significantly more money elsewhere and the sushi quality cannot compare. Always delicious and very clean place

A nice casual sushi place that I like to stop by sometimes when I'm at superstore. The prices are good and the food is tasty. I'd definitely recommend it for a nice quick meal!

Worst customer service ever. Went there at 8:25, the restaurant closes at 9 and they would not serve me. They told me "Sorry last call at 8:30." There was nothing on the door stating that there is a last call. Will never return here again and would not recommend to anyone.

Consistently great sushi at an unbelievable price, you can't go wrong here at all, maybe not the fanciest place but clean and great. Probably the best food for the price anywhere

The beef teri don(beef rice) is so salty and the quality of the beef is not good(still has tendons attached).

I have been coming here since they opened in the late 90s. It has always been consistently good. They have a very distinct flavour with all their dishes that is hard to replicate.

My absolute favourite item on the menu; Chicken Tempura Roll is out of this world. I have never seen this served anywhere else. If you have never tried it, you literally are missing out on the 8th wonder of the world.

Take this as you will, but the owner and head chef is authentic Japanese. I have a gut feeling that he has dedicated his whole life to his craft and his food is constantly satisfying it.(my gut that is)

I just got a bite here after work, and is the sushi ever good! Great prices ($11 or less for a combo), friendly staff and they put effort to make the place clean and tidy. The only negative is that it's a little cold inside. Would recommend.

There is a reason why this place is here for many years. You get your food quick, the food is fine compare to other cheap Japanese food and food are fresh.
Everyone around me ordered the noodle set for $10 you get a small teriyaki chicken don, tempura udon and California roll. What can you get with min hourly wage these days this noodle set.

Friendly service, delicious food. The rice is perfectly cooked every time.

Good, simple, no-nonsense sushi at a fantastic price. I've eaten here at least once a week for the past year, the quality and value really can't be beat.
