It says it s a resort and spa, so I will rate it as one. The staff is excellent and hard working, the management is not so much.
Here s an example. Breakfast starts at 7, most of Athena staff start their shift after half an hour, so the poor fellas who are there are stretched trying to fix it.
Food not so much, play it safe with the club sandwich. Make sure you book in the restaurants since the choices are not abundant.
The reception staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay. However the Buffet was very limited and the food was Ok, not what you would expect from a Hotel. I booked for a suite and I got a room at a corner, just make sure to ask about the view because I booked for a garden view and what I got was the roof of villas and I barely saw the garden. 8/10
I loved this property. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly from beginning to end during this CORONA Period . The dinner at Waves restaurant was awesome. Hospitality of all the staffs was outstanding. Will recommend everyone to visit & enjoy this property.
Great place for a family escape. Staff is first class and the facilities are adequate. Good value for money. Keep in mind options for food are limited. Would recommend to get some drinks from the gas station nearby unless you have an all inclusive package

Need to include one or two asian cuisine dishes in the buffet menu.
The place is spacious and clean, but IMO it lacks of atmosphere and style, not expected given the price we paid. We only had breakfasts and one small snack at the beach...quite disappointing.
I second the comment made by someone else that if you go for breakfast at 7 there's not enough staff around.

Brilliant amenities. Worth each and every penny you spend. Classic rooms. Superb views, pools, food and beach access. Friendly staff. great party and conferences hall. wide variety of International cuisine. Highly recommended!
It is one of the best resorts in fujairah and for Rotana in UAE. The resort is really big and nice . They have a big swimming pool with a bar and sea food restaurant also they have access to the beach and it has a perfect view during the sunset. The team is very friendly and hospitable. I really like to stay again there .

Overall, the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend.
