Registered my interest in Fibre back in April when...

Registered my interest in Fibre back in April when they laid the fibre pipes/cables across the road from me. They have also laid pipes/cables on my side of the street. Vox came along and took pre-orders in the same month, which I signed up for. Up to now, fibre has not been connected to my complex as Vox claims Frogfoot are not interest in the complex yet. Contacted Frogfoot, and one of their reps said that they will looking again at my area in the coming month (back in October), and have not reply, yet they are installing in other complexes around me. I can't seem to get a straight answer from them as to when they plan on going live.

Furthermore to this, I moved before fibre became available. They contacted 3 times to install the connection, even though I had contacted them before moving to say that I want to close my account and cancel any pre-orders. On top of that, they shared my personal details with small ISP brands who spammed my inbox for over a month, all after I told them months earlier that I wanted to cancel my pre-order to due emigration.

When I phoned seeking answers, the consultant put the phone down in my ear. I have been messed around and litterally just wanted an answer or a reply from someone in a more senior position. She said she couldn't help me. They failed to install some sort of box in front of the apartment block and the person who was contracted to install my fiber realized that on my scheduled date for installation.

I ordered Fibre to be installed at my apartment and when the installation company got to my apartment to set up the fibre in my apartment (which took two weeks), they said that FrogFoot had incorrectly installed their portion of the fibre network to the complex and that the readings did not match the required readings to give the provision for the fibre to go ahead. This has resulted in a postponement of me and my flatmates getting WiFi which we ordered almost a month ago, and who knows when we will get it now! I hope FrogFoot can resolve the situation quickly otherwise this will have been a terrible service rendered from them.

Was a big supporter of frogfoot until they started doing maintenance during ridiculous hours between 5pm and 12pm... some consultants are helpful while others provided a cocky attitude, I hope they can resolve the issues so I can change my review and provide better feedback for this place, most companies are a lot better when they are small however I feel that frogfoot has grown bigger and with bigger one will get worse individual services.

It's been 5 days since our internet went down and still there is ZERO feedback from Frogfoot. We've lost track of how many times we've called Vox only to be told that they are waiting for Frogfoot to come back to them. In the meanwhile we have to spend 1000s of Rands on cellphone data to continue studying for upcoming exams. How is it possible to care so little about your customers and still be in business?! Pathetic! We are so close to giving up and looking for a different provider.

Logging a ticket and phoning does not work. Can you please tell me why it takes so long to do an early release on a line? The previous tenant left at the end of august, I am still waiting for the line to be released. My ISP sent an image of the equipment already.

Before there is even fiber, they installed a massive screw mounted frogfoot ad (similar to those used by security companies) by drilling into the wall of my apartment. With all the negative reviews, I am very worried about your services affecting my job. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for Frogfoot to approve connection with my ISP. The box is already connected and in my house. I don't know when you will decide to complete a 5 minute job. We should have fair competition infrastructure in our suburbs so we can choose based on quality. Frogfoot prove me wrong!

Rude, unhelpful service when inquiring about slow line speeds on their infrastructure. I've logged numerous fault reports through my ISP with nothing ever happening. When I contact you directly I'm told to log a fault with my ISP and that's all you can do. I get 30mb/s up and 70mb/s down on a 200mb/s up and down line.

I'll have my fiber with Frogfoot canceled soon. It's cheaper and more efficient to use copper as these guys really take the piss when it comes to any form of service delivery. You've lost my 1k per month.

Told one of my clients Im getting live to day and have seen the same jitter problem at his house .To soon to criticize but I hope they can solve the jitter problem . Tested on 20 mb line . have te same problem at my place .What is Network Jitter?

I am very disappointed with frogfoot. I live in Bloemfontein and my neighbor had fiber installed yesterday. After the technicians installed the fiber to my neighbor, they damaged my cable and now my internet is off. I am really dissapointed that frogfoot doesn't even have a contact number for after hours and only answer in office hours. I work from home and rely on internet to do my job. My service provider said that I have to wait 3 working days for it to be fixed. I will have to use mobile internet now to continue working that will cost me a lot since it takes a lot of data to do my job. This is all due to the incompetence of the technicians. I am really upset with frogfoot.

They came to install our fiber on Friday and to my surprise the technician said there is no boundary box but he assured me it will be installed that same day or the next day. I desperately need my internet for work... Been holding now for 25 minutes on the phone with no answer trying to find out when I can expect installation. Nothing... nada... no answer... if the support is this bad at the start I don't know if I wanna continue with my fibre installation. An email or something to notify that you received the request from Vox and are on it would have been nice. But there is no correspondence from you whatsoever.

I am upset with the service of Frogfoot in Noordhaven/San Michel area. According to Frogfoot they use for my 100/100Mbit line a 80ghz wireless backhaul that goes down in the rain. With other words you pay for something which didn't work during rain and storm when you sit at home.

Frogfoot contractors install the fibre in my place, and tested it to the fibre exchange, I love looking what they do and asking them. They did a great job, but now comes the problem, no fibre supplier can activate my line. The reason for that is Frogfoot did not release the line for service and hold it as "WORK IN PROGRESS" we would really like to know when is Frogfoot planning to release the installation so we can get connected???

We have been trying to simply migrate our service to our new address for a month now.
We already have a frogfoot fibre device installed. They literally only have to cancel the previous lessee's service and activate ours. We've already sent proof of the lease contract and pictures of the device which is activated everything. We've been phoning our ISP daily for the last two weeks but no progress is being made on frogfoot's side. No useful feedback has been received. We literally don't know what to do anymore. It's now costing us a lot of money to buy enough data to be able to work from home. If there was another network provider in the area I would have cancelled the request weeks ago.

Today was my installation day with Frogfoot (Firstly i have been waiting six weeks, i actually saw all the negative posts and thought maybe FrogFoots not that bad.
Well i get a message from the installer confirming installation today, this morning i get an Excuse will not be able to come and do the installation.
Your installer has just proven every comment on google, how bad your service really is.
im happy i cancelled, cause if u cannot stick to the 4 to 6 weeks installation.
How long am i going to wait for a repairs if my lines go down.

There is just no communication from this company. If there was an option for -1 million stars, it would be awarded to this company.

Since my fibre installation roughly five months ago, I have been experiencing ongoing connectivity issues...almost on a weekly basis!! Whereas there have been two price increases since March 2020, the quality of service decreased beyond shocking. My fibre experience has been an utter disappointment!! Awarding you a star is being generous.

I appreciate your response. I subsequently received a call from my ISP further explaining the issues at hand. I understand that you are working towards a more stable network, for which I thank you.

Frogfoot installed a line into my home 2 weeks ago and then said it would take 48hrs to provision and I will go live. Now almost 2 weeks and NOBODY will talk to me or even tell me why they refuse to activate my service. This is NOT the ISP's problem (Afrihost) this is FROGFOOT. Terrible service, so sorry I seemed to have chosen the wrong provider. Really BAD experience before we even start.

Have emailed Frogfoot four times and gotten a bot response thrice and no reponse on one. Have sent a DM on twitter to no response. Have called about 20 times and am currently listening to "Our Service Delivery Team is currently busy" on a 2 second loop for the last 25 minutes, If I do put down though and try to recall the line will immediately die (I know this from Experience). Signed up with 100mgbs unlimited deal with them through Vodacom it has been over 6 weeks and still not connected, spent countless minutes getting hold of Frogfoot and Vodacom to notify of no connection, keeps getting escalated time delays, call out delays no one really knows how long things will be sorted out. All they can say is we will 'Log a call' which is a 24 hour to 48 hour turn around time. What a waste of time and patience do yourself a favour and avoid Frogfoot at all costs!!

Reinstatement of my paving outside my house was confirmed in writing for the 24th of June. It is now 29th of August - work is still not complete. I received 4 different reference/ticket numbers from Frogfoot for my inquiries. Every time I follow up on a reference number I am told the ticket has been closed. How can tickets be closed if the work is not done yet? I highly doubt anyone in our street will use the Frogfoot fibre given this poor service delivery.

They make such little effort to respond to clients needs that it can be considered completely negligible. I've been experiencing terrible internet issues and trying to get attention from them is next to impossible. The laughably ironic "Blazingly fast internet!" they tout is actually WORSE than what we had previously (not optical fiber). I suspect they do not have the means to install the infrastructure correctly and just hope for the best when laying cables. USELESS!

My service went out on Tuesday evening for no reason. Find out via my ISP the following day that FrogFoot believes I was kicked off their server for whatever reason, should be fixed that day. It's now Friday, every day this week they have been suggesting it should be fixed by noon, now I am told I'll get an update on Monday. If this is a software issue, it should not be a problem, if it's hardware, why hasn't someone come to my residence yet? Really, really bad service.

I have been without internet for months after giving notice on my ADSL before I got fibre since lines were being installed into my flat. Frogfoot has a monopoly in my area and therefore provide the utter worst service possible. I have been in contact with 5 different ISPs who work with frogfoot (many emails, hours on the phone) including contacting frogfoot directly via phone (the agent held up without saying anything) and messaging them on facebook.

This is by far the worst company. I'd rather trust eskom to do future installations. Investors, clients beware. Use different infrastructure providers where possible. This company does not deserve to exist.

Currently stuck with Mweb and am told that Fibre will come when their Infrastructure SP installs the network but Frogfoot doesn't even have a plan - that's if you're lucky enough to get hold of them. Apparently Frogfoot will be the only fiber network in this area - i.e. all the SP's will use it - I'd rather move first!!

Unfortunately I already paid for the service and Frogfoot refuse to correct their bad workman ship. Realy not the type of work that any company should be proud of.

The terminal box was left loose in the wall and the conduit not buried properly.

Compliments to Charles Abrahams and his team mate that came out to the house first and got the lay out and installation part done - job well done. Second visit was by a technician from Nexgen, Dominic WItbooi that had to activate our fibre line - he went above and beyond to do his part after some tiny delay. Appreciate the overall service. Many unanswered emails and cut-off phone calls later, we are still no where close to having internet. If your internet service provider uses this company, change your service provider. Frogfoot installed a fibre line at my house exactly a week ago and did not want to follow the suggested route and they only went underground half way into the property and the rest was above ground for no reason or explication at all, the landlord was not impressed at all and asked that they do it over underground and to go towards the suggested route, the next day they came to confirm the new route and said they will get back to me and my service provider and we have still not heard anything yet. Im really disappointed in their services and the head office's number keeps you on a answering machine, Frogfoot must take a look at their Standard Operating Procedure and insure that everyone is aware of what they will be doing and if the will be going above ground or not....

Really unhappy that Frogfoot contractors simply decided to cut the Telkom line to my apartment in Milnerton. Not only can i not make calls but i now also dont have internet through ADSL. Telkom technician says he is now unable to pull through a new line because their pipe is clogged with fibre lines from the box to the apartment block.
I would've at some point moved over to fibre with Frogfoot but now will simply opt for LTE with a competitor. this exercise is now going to cost me so much more money now.
