The reptile exhibit is pretty cool. It was a nice zoo and not too expensive to get in. Food and drinks are expensive here if you plan to eat here. Went around the whole zoo but they were missing a few animals. Some you couldn't see because they were sleeping in the shade away from sight but that's okay. Nice place to walk around on a date or bring the kids. I wish I could have seen the elephant and the rhino's a little closer but them having space to roam around is better for them. It gets hot so make sure to stay hydrated.

So many amazing opportunities for children of all ages to "dig" and unearth bones and truly gives them a hands on approach to possibilities.
Truly one must plan on more than a single visit as there are so many areas to visit.
The grounds are well maintained...plenty of clean restrooms. Parking is ample though at peak times, you may have to walk a bit further. There are food options as well as coffee bars for those must have cappuccinos and lattes.
The staff are all very helpful.

Awesome zoo for a small City like Fresno. Awesome zoo. They are constantly trying to make it a better place for the animals and a super experience for the public. Tickets aren't too bad, but if you want to go back more than once a year it really pays to get a membership! Then you can go as often as you please and you get discounts in the gift stores and I think even on food, but don't hold me to the food. There is so much to see and experience and learn! Special places for kids and lots of benches to just sit and enjoy. If you like animals you have to check this place out!

Great service, it was a little hot but I had a fantastic time, especially in the Africa unit where you can feed giraffes, see Lions, eat in a marvelous food court that looks out on the "African Savannah".

It has changed a lot since I was a kid! And I'm glad that it is, it getting bigger and adding more animals. The new cafe is the best for a quick lunch too. Now I take my kids and they absolutely love it! If you find yourself or your whole family going a lot, invest in the yearly pass it is well worth it.

We just moved from LA to Fresno and this is zoo was a big surprise! It is really huge! It is the fastest-growing zoo in the nation and it has some marine animals like seals and stingrays you can touch, it has an amazing open space for African safari that resembles the San Diego Safari Landscaping where animals roam freely around a beautiful Lake. We fed the giraffes and got to learn so much from zookeepers! We definitely will be back many more times, got the membership which provides a lot of benefits like 10% discounts in the cafe and gift shop and preview events. having been to huge zoos like San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari in the Los Angeles Zoo, we were surprised beyond our expectation at this beautiful and well-kept Zoo. It has so much to Explore! Oh, before I forget. My kids also spent a good hour digging in the dino dig, it was actually really fun to unearth bone and to get a real feeling of what it would be like being part of it fossil Expedition team.

Great experience, I love animals! Had some ice cream here as well and it was delicious. We spent a good 3 hours walking around to look at mostly everything. It's only $3 to feed giraffes! Enjoyed it very much.

Had a wonderful time here. Staff is very knowledgeable. Facility is clean and open. Went with a few classmates, they have a lot of endangered species. Some animals are there for rehabilitation or because they have permanent disabilities (such as the blind sea lion). There is plent of space for the animals to roam, they are treated well and seem very content.

Really I really enjoy coming to the zoo with my family. I love the new attractions. The kids really enjoy feeding the animals and I like how it's not too expensive to partake in the activities there. I also love that you can bring your own food and drinks.
