Fremont Public Library Review

I am in the Grayslake Library District (which I love) but I occasionally use the Fremont Library for studying, programs, and book sales. Staff are always friendly, they have an excellent collection, programming is fantastic, and they make really good use of their building space. Thanks Fremont!

Great Library! Friendly staff! Handling COVID 19 AMAZINGLY!

This place has been my favorite pass time since I couldn t walk. The staff members couldn t be nicer to me and are very enthusiastic about their jobs! The activities they do are absolutely fantastic! I love the teen programs and how the provide pizza and occasionally cookies. It is a nice, cool, laid back place as soon as you walk in the door. It s so easy to check out and return books or movies! I have never had an issue here, as far as I can remember. Very organized books and movies, along with many resting places if you need to study or just relax and read! But not too book-oriented, as there are perfectly running conputers that provide you with headphones and strong WiFi! Your little ones will absolutely adore this place! There is a little play area just for them with a fun kitchen set, a wide selection of books, and so much more! Fantastic sanitation where I can come in whenever I want to and relax with a good book and not worry about kids running around me since they are in their own little world. I love how they occasionally have Tony Cannoli and other small shops come. Overall, it is a great library!

This library is magical. Pre-Covid we would frequent the library 2-3 times a week, always finding new and wonderful things. The planned activities are thought out and lead by people who are genuinely invested in their work. The employees are kind, patient, and clearly take pride in their employment. The library is clean, organized, and has an amazing assortment of books, movies, educational games, etc. The children s area is especially lovely, with an abundance of educational opportunities and a space to play quietly. We are so grateful to have such a special spot for our kids to grow up in.

Amazing library. I've lived a number of places and libraries have always felt depressing and as if they are only for people without internet. Which is great, but this place is so much more! Amazing selection. Very helpful staff and enough of them that you don't have to seek them out. They do a ton of great events. The movie and video game selection is pretty unbelievable too. Online account makes it super easy to renew or place a hold on stuff. Plus their inter library loan system can get you most anything, unless you're researching something pretty obscure. Frankly, if I'm paying taxes for something, I want to want to use those services. No issue here!

Great library, good customer service, nice view outside by the lake.

My home Library and it'll probably stay that way for a long time. I love The Fremont Public Library, it has a wide variety of DVDs and Books. It has your great WIFI and it also has these movie night things which I find fantastic!

Great Wifi! But during the summer, at one point of the day a camp goes on the computers so if you're trying to do homework when you REALLY need to finish work... Try to bring your own computer if you want to have 10 Mbytes per second... Sooo... Anything else but that is GREAT!!!

It's a very calm atmosphere for all ages. There are more then just books, there are movies, games, activities, reading challenges ( again for all ages ), audio books, music and more! The place itself is just a nice place. So if you live nearby I think you'd love this library!

One of the best Libraries friendly staff. Great collection of books, movies, and audio. Also telescopes for rent for free. 3D printing. Lots of computers. Whatever book, movie or audio you need is there.

My family and I love this library!! The staff is always kind, and friendly. Super clean, great selection of books, DVDs, games, everything. Grayson the check on kid is my favorite, he's such a sweet kid.

I love coming here!! I like how they have programs and events! Also there very nice and very helpful I recommend to come to this library.

Top notch library. Second floor has tons of big tables outlets etc. Good wifi service available. Excellent place to get some work done. Great selection of books & resources. Never seems to be crowded. +1

They will work with you on everything, from ordering a book to helping if you cant get there in time to drop it off.

Probably one of the best in the area. Large selection of books, programs and media for kids and adults.

We are the Mundelein KinderCare and have had a partnership with the Fremont Public Library for several years. There are a number of times where the library has attended our events for our families/community to promote our center and the library. They have also been amazing with letting our School Age children visit during break times to check out books and interact in the children's section. The library also comes out to our center at different times during the year to do interactive story time. We are very grateful for this partnership with the Library because they are a great resource in our community. We have meet so many families in our community due to the amazing preschool fair that they host every year. We could not be more appreciative of our relationship with their excellent team.

The Fremont Public Library is a great place to go to read and learn and this place is extremely popular as it's right around some big schools and the place is kept extremely clean as it's a modern billding that was built around 17 years ago and it is kept up-to-date with the latest trends and technology.

Great facilities and their conference rooms are awesome!

Great for kids! Great for adults! One of the best parts of Mundelein.

I love this library. They have a very complete collection, and if they don't have something, they help me find it, and the building is beautiful and functional.
