FreeWheeler Bike Shop II Review

After not having ridden much the last five years, and never having been serious about it, I visited Freewheeler looking for a hybrid bike as a way to get some good outdoor exercise. I planned to mostly ride on paved trails.

Walking into the store, even on a Saturday morning in early March, it was clear that the Freewheeler staff makes it a priority to ask people if there's anything in particular they're looking for or could use help with. In my case, Maddy asked what I was looking for. I explained that my budget was a little below the prices of new bikes on the website. She mentioned that they had used bikes downstairs and proceeded to point out a few that were my size. The second one, a 2016 Trek 7.0 FX, looked great, so I took it for a test ride and loved it! After a little more research about the bike, I went ahead and purchased it. And they threw in a free water bottle and holder!

I really appreciated Maddy's help throughout the process, never rushing me and answering any question that I had. I will definitely plan on returning to Freewheeler for my biking needs!

I really, really like this place. I've had several bikes serviced here - mostly cheap ones. They never judge and their prices on parts and service are fantastic! Thanks guys!

I went to this bike store for the first time today to purchase my daughter her first good bike. I was truly impressed. Pat, who helped us, was friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond. This store has a huge selection and a lot of bike stores right now have a very low inventory. I m very happy with our purchase and we will definitely be back.

This is my favorite bike shop. So much so that I drive an hour to get there. I was disappointed when the website said 2-3 days turn around and first come first serve. Yet when I dropped my Rad. Mini off for a new gear shifter I was told 2-3 weeks. Guess I should have called ahead. Anyway, great shop but disregard website claim of quick turn around. (Otherwise it is a 5 star shop.)

Great service on my new bike rack. Helped carry to my car and load it as well. They did a great job building the rack for me as well. A very good reason to buy local rather than online!!

Everyone I worked with was incredibly helpful, informative, and a joy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. Their selection is amazing. They can get anything you want, even when other bike shops are unable to locate it.

Haro, Redline, Bianchi - you name it, they got it.

I will definitely shop there again. Looking forward to returning to Freewheeler in the future to upgrade components.

Visited this shop for the first time to grab a couple miscellaneous parts for a build. Extremely impressed! Tons of parts and bikes in stock when most shops are running very low. Patrick was super cool and very helpful. A+ on this shop and customer service! Thanks Patrick!

Awesome selection of bikes and accessories which is rare during covid. Shawn hooked me up! Called him and told him what I was looking for. He showed me the bikes in my budget and gave me his honest opinion with no pressure to buy either. I drove 2 hours to get here from the east side and it was totally worth it!

Love this place. They have all kinds of style bikes to help get you the bike you are looking for. I bought two bikes from them recently and love how they were patient as my wife and I tried out a few to find the perfect fit. I haven't needed any repairs yet, but I am sure they do well in the shop too.
