Freedom Kilts Review

My first kilt was built at this shop and it was ok, but there was significant discrepancies between the quote and the actual cost , My bill was changed by almost $400.00... I had them measure me and ordered a waist coat. After a wait of 7 weeks the waist coat came and it was 2 sizes too small. So I returned it.... I almost had to beg to be kept up to date about what was happening in this regard . After almost 6 months of waiting the new waist coat arrived and was 3 sizes to big. I was told there was nothing they could do. I took it to a shop that did alterations and had it altered to fit me at a cost of $45.00 When I asked Freedom Kilts to re-emburse me I never got a response at all. After waiting a week I sent them another e-mail requesting a response and all I got was .....sorry........The owner may have a good reputation in the "kilt World " but my experience was worse than poor and I would recommend to be vary wary when dealing with them

Looking for a kilt? Steve is by far one of the most informed and talented kilt makers on the West Coast, if not in North America. Spend time with him and you will walk away educated, and kilted if the wallet permits

Good product, good selection. Expensive. For most people ordering off the Internet is far cheaper, but if you want top quality and can wait a few months to have it made, definately go here for a custom kilt.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products and Steve himself gave me a very helpful tip on how to properly hang a kilt. Thank you Steve for the tip
