Audrey's Costume House Review

I find that they are very helpful in the halloween season but i feel there halloween prices are marked pretty high for the quality of costumes

This store is super cool however it was not made clear to me that I could not get my money back if I returned an item. I was told if it doesn't fit bring it back... So I did... now I have a $100 store credit I likely won't ever use and am pretty annoyed.

Ordered a costume through Audrey's and was told it would arrive in two weeks. It still hadn't arrived after four weeks, so I had no costume for my costume party.

I have been going to Audrey's for years as my first stop for Halloween costumes, but it saddens me to say I won't be back.

I went today looking for a wig to complete my son's werewolf costume and they would not let me take the wig outside of its packaging to see if it would fit. Also "all sales are final". I will not pay top dollar for something sight unseen with no returns.

The pop up Halloween stores have better service (they let you take costumes out of the package) and are cheaper.

I went to that store 3 times today because:
1) I wanted a costume and they didn't have it. They were expecting a delivery. I asked them to call me once it gets there.
2) They called me as they said they would, even if they are very busy. I went there to pick up the costume.
3) Once home, I realized the size was wrong so I left a message and finally decided to go back there. I didn't know at that time that sales were final.

We had a little discussion about the sizes as they don't make sense to me. For example, if your kid is between 5 and 7 years old, it says that you should by a medium, which is size 8-10. The company's (not Audrey's but the company that produces the costumes) labels are misleading. That size is WAY too big for a 5 year-old but may fit for a VERY tall 7 years old. They accepted to exchange it because I was there a couple hours ago and never opened the package. I really appreciated it because they have strict policy.

I totally understand why they would not take something back in other circumstances because unfortunately, some people are dishonest and would return an item that they wore during a party. So we are all paying the price for them when in some circumstances, we made a legitimate mistake. If you are that kind of person, i.e. someone who would return a costume that is used, shame on you. If you can't afford to buy a costume, just DIY. Pinterest could help you find ideas.

The employees were very nice with me and did their best to find the size I was looking for. Even if they didn't succeed (a customer misplaced it somewhere in the store), I appreciate the effort. My son didn't get The Flash but he will look awesome in the Batman costume.

Always a great selection of halloween products. Also any costume is available year round.

Can't rent costumes with out a credit card and there aren't any other options if you don't have one. Also, you are charging almost the full costume price just to rent it. Over priced, not a very good experience. Basically didn't want my business.

We were able to gather hard to find pieces for a one of a kind costume for our child for Halloween. The staff were very helpful and made several excellent suggestions that really brought the whole costume together. They had a huge selection of costumes, make up, wigs, and accessories to purchase, and lots of costumes to rent as well. Check it out.

I have always found what I was looking for with amazing assistance. I recommend this store to anyone looking for costuming all year round.

Went in for a "western" costume for an event I was MC-ing and asked that it be not too revealing. Unfortunately most items were. There were 3 staff on, one helping me. I was there with my husband and two teens. When I was a few isles away, in front of my 2 teens, 2 of that staff had many bad things to say about me one of which included me wanting to be the "center of attention"!? I think I'm a pretty polite and friendly customer and can't understand for many reasons why they'd think bashing me in front of my teens and while I was there would be OK. We put down our intended purchases and left!

Lots of costumes to choose from. Great staff. Something for everyone.

They have everything you could possibly need for any costume!!

Staff are rude and watch you like a hawk but never offer any assistance.

Wonderful costume store where you find a great variety of costumes for adults and children year-round. They also carry accessories you might need to complete your costume. There is a costume rental as well. And they also have dance suits/leotards, shoes and tights in a great variety of sizes and styles. Prices are not particularly cheap, but in normal range.Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

OMG! Best costume store ever!!! No need to go anywhere else. Can't wait to go back. Please try this store. Anything is possible here!

I would say best selection in town! Not the same stuff found everywhere, very unique. Worth checking out this small business. They have yet to disappoint<3

This place is a rip off. Bought a crown for my wife, and found the same crown for less than half the price at another store. Shop around before going here.

Huge selection of costumes and makeup accessories. Lots of costumes for rentals and sales.
