We had a holiday booked with freedom destinations for 27th March. They cancelled the holiday and have refused to honour their legal obligation to provide a full refund. I appreciate these are strange times but they have taken my money, cancelled their service ,and not refunded . Terrible . Stay well clear. I appreciate their company may suffer but this is literally food on the table money. Shame on them.
It s a real shame they never refunded my money when they cancelled my holiday, as the booking part was easy, ALWAYS use your credit card that s how I got my refund !!

I've not been in since it was refurbished. Looks bright and fresh. I had nachos for one as a started - OMG the best I've had in a long time. Pity though as it spoilt my appetite for my main which I struggled with even though it was lovely. (can't even call that a negative! Lol)
I booked a road trip to America with Freedom Destinations. Everything went as planned. They listened to what I wanted and got me a good deal. I would recommend!
Our holiday to South Africa was expertly planned, we had an amazing time, however our planned and paid for Cape Town Tour was not booked by Freedom Africa. This we saw as a mistake, so we took the tour with another company, knowing we would be reimbursed on our return. We are appalled as this was not the case, even though I provided ALL the information / itinerary/ costing/ ,sent to me by our personal holiday consultant,[ who did an excellent job] on their own headed paper, I was told by customer service's that this tour did not appear in any of the paperwork AFTER my first quotation from the planner, therefore I provided ALL the paperwork 4 in total, which shows our tour was planned, was costed, was paid, however this company are dishonest, by choosing to ignore this their own paperwork, sent to me !!. It all went wrong when the holiday planner passed the information to admin, who did not book this Tour, although within the itinerary it is booked !! After, reading other reviews regarding Freedom Destinations concerning " cash "not being returned to customers, please be aware of this all you people ,if it is Africa you would like to visit, give " Imagine Africa " a try, this is who we are using next time. Mistakes are made by everyone, but we feel Freedom Destinations , will not treat you with honesty and integrity, where money is concerned, this certainly is not customer CARE !!.Our holiday was wonderful, however there is a huge problem concerning the Admin and customer services, who choose to deny they got it wrong, so will not reimburse the paying customers. Shame on you Freedom Destinations.
Thank you, thank you Freedom Destinations!! Just back from a magical trip to Vietnam and Cambodia and it was awesome. Stayed in Siem Reap near Ankor Wat - not to be missed! - then went to Saigon and the resort of Hoi An. I was a bit worried about travelling on our own but it all worked like a dream, the transfers were always waiting and the dat trips Freedom organised werefantastic. Already looking at Freeddom Africa for next year.

We went with Freedom Australia last year for 6 weeks. The trip included the following; stopovers on the way out and return in Singapore, staying with friends in Perth and Melbourne during the trip, car hires, train journeys, internal flights, hotel or self catering accommodation as we visited Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, Brisbane, The Sunshine and Gold Coasts; they also organised trips and tours.
All this was seamless without any problems whatsoever! None at at all, and believe me I would say if there was!!!
I initially emailed them, then a consultant, Tanya (who was Australian) telephoned me and we discussed the finer details which was/is absolutely necessary. I thoroughly believe that this was the key to the seamless stress free trip we enjoyed as she covered everything, and suggested things I never thought of; for instance booking us in self accommodation that had clothes washing facilities, as she said six weeks is a long time and you will need clothes washed. How right she was.
I should also say that after we did all this planning which initially was for 2017 we Changed our minds and pulled it forward to 2016. Was that a problem, not at all, in fact we saved money.
If I was planning another trip like this I would have no hesitation of going with Freedom Destinations as we couldn't fault the. In any way

We have recently returned from a fantastic organised trip to Malaysia, everything was first class from start to finish, turtle island amazing ,orangutans fab, Kuala lumpa , borneo excellant and then to finish off the trip a fabulous Chill in langawi.You organised everything flights , transfers hotels all at an excellant affordable price, we will definetly be recommending your company amd using you again

I've travelled with Freedom Destinations twice in the past and was impressed with the service and knowledge on both occasions. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19, this year's holiday was put on hold for the time being. However, Briony was able to seamlessly rearrange my holiday for 2021 and I am excited for my third trip, virus permitting.
I quite literally can't say enough good things about this travel agency. We have been in the process of booking a Borneo/Bali based holiday with them since before lock down (our fault, not theirs). We've changed our mind and stalled things a million times and not once has there been a hint of frustration from any of their team. Our main contact was Briony who is simply awesome, but we've also spoken to lots of other members of staff who have been equally amazing. Our holiday with TUI was cancelled due to Corona and the stress involved with sorting that whole thing out with TUI was dreadful. So then, to deal with these guys was an absolute dream. I can't put a pounds and pence figure on what it's worth to deal with such a professional and friendly company, but it's huge. 5 stars, wish it could be more.
Poor after care ...a company that books flights and rooms .but when something goes wrong it's not very good at all ....poor communication..replys with a generic answer..trying to gether a straight answer is impossible..
Booking the holiday with them was great and they were very helpful however it was in May and was cancelled and they would not give us a full refund.
Contacting this company was a profoundly unhelpful and unpleasant experience; nothing could be simply answered by email, despite multiple requests for that. Their insistence that I indulge in lengthy phone conversation was irritating, as I had gone to some lengths to provide all relevant material (seeking a campervan hire) in advance - I was instructed that that was their 'procedure' and that I was being 'rude' to insist on getting to the point and not subordinating myself to it. The female operator then announced that as I was not going to let her 'help' me in the way she wanted the conversation to run, that she was not going to bother to 'help' me and terminated the experience.

No contact names on their website, so who knows who runs this outfit, although they seem keen to impress how trustworthy they should be considered. No thanks.
Unfortunately my holiday got cancelled due to Covid, but I was very happy with the way Freedom Destinations dealt with rearranging my trip. This is my third time booking with Freedom and I would happily recommend them to anyone!
My holiday to Australia was cancelled due to the coronavirus sadly, but Freedom Destinations did a superb job of changing all the flights, hotels and tours for us to travel next Easter at no extra cost. They dealt with it so professionally and quickly. We will also be looking to book with them for a trip to New Zealand the year after. I highly recommend this company!
I was so very relieved that I booked my entire 2020 Australia trip via Freedom travel as I was able to get my full trip refunded due to Covid. The staff were excellent, very understanding and kept me updated throughout the process. I will have no hesitation rebooking my next big trip with Freedom and after hearing others experience of getting covid refunds I will not book with anyone else. Excellent travel agency thank you!
Found them most helpful and gave great advice for our holiday to Australia. Always available to answer my multiple questions and adjust my itinerary. Price was very competitive, don t leave till November but thanks for your help.
