Four stars only because it was the first time I was there. I had a juicy and delicious reuben sandwich for lunch. It smelled great in the store. I will be back to get some custom cut meat.

Stop shopping for meats at the large grocery stores. Fred's has it all from fresh sausage, kilbasa and their own deli meats. Plus all the steaks are amazing!

Wow! BEST seafood BEST meat ALWAYS fresh. BEST service FRIENDLY staff and shoppers, such an other-worldly shopping experience in the most positive way. I have never been more blown away by a butcher and a grocery store. I ve never seen anything more consistently fresh anywhere. And... Fred s is the only shop to carry kidney organs that I know of!

Top notch local butcher. Always a great selection and quality. Great deli and small grocery also, prices are very fair for the quality. My go to for BBQ and steaks.

Great place not just a butcher shop. Has a full deli and Cafe very busy around lunch but still fast service. I got 5lbs pork belly 5lbs beef brisket 1lbs bacon 1lbs deli sliced honey ham.

We got a 15 lb prime rib for Christmas Eve from here. What a difference from getting one at Fred the butcher vs a grocery store. This piece of meat was amazing and just perfect . Worth every cent.

Reminded me of home. I'm from Brooklyn originally and this place is like an Italian old fashioned butcher shop back home. It was absolutely authentic and they weren't trying to be like that. That's who they are.

This is one of the best butchers around! Their meats are perfect! Smoked, seasoned or untouched, you won't be disappointed! It's superior to anything that I can get in the grocery stores! Be prepared to wait because there IS a line most days. The morning at open especially. I just stood in line outside for almost 45 minutes waiting for them to open and let people in, but it's definitely worth it. Yes they do have covid capacity limits monitored by employees. We always go here to get the meats for our special meals. This is a Clifton Park community staple that outshines anything like it!
